Perhaps it was the«Saturday night syndrome» when an upscale restaurant becomes too busy and loses its reason for being. we were seated in a very comfortable booth near a very noisy bar. As a starter we ordered mussels with chorizo, which were small in a fairly well flavored wine based broth with a sprinkling of chorizo over the mussels which were overcooked and somewat dry and salty… clearly not worth the $ 26 tariff(1 star). My strip steak which was ordered with a butter and crown topping came on a plate without any garnish and, of course, without vegetables($ 54)…The steak was prepared medium rare as ordered & was clearly was one of the best steaks I’ve had in a long time, albeit a a bit oversalted. However, at $ 54 including the butter and crown topping, I would have expected nothing less. The veggies were ordered ala carte running about 10 dollars each for the spinach, creamed corn, and fried Brussels sprouts. All the veggies were well prepared… the creamed corn particular was great, but a bit sparse for sharing. Being chintzy and expensive are not a favorable combination. Clearly not enjoyable were the lollipop lamb chops(also on a plate without garnish) which my wife returned because they were too salty as well as having an unpleasant flavor… the manager took the lamb chops off the bill… which was a strong positive for this restaurant. Bottom line:111FORKS charges TOOMUCH for TOOLITTLE… capable of serving both excellent steaks but also flawed expensive dishes, in a relatively noising setting if you are seated in the bar area. However, both management and our server are to be commended for trying to «make up» for a sloppy performance by a busy Saturday night kitchen. .

Had not been back for a while, and the reason was a Sunday afternoon happy experience that was not too pleasant. But every restaurant deserves a good day, Looks like new management has come in and also a new staff. I saw that a waiter i knew from another establishment was there and could not resist. The hostess was friendly and our server was perfect, Jose M, cant ask for anything better. I was happy to see he took perfect care of us, as this was a special double birthday occasion, as well as my wife is the Maid of Honor in the other couples future wedding. The wine selection and bar drinks of course perfect. The appetizer, being very busy the restaurant, was chosen as a direct plagiarism of the table next to us. It was a serious platter of Huge Bone Marrow and Cheek shredded meat with burning salt flame and an awesome chutney, apple based. Wow was it good you must try it and ask for it a little burned hummmm. Now the good stuff, we had a great salad with blue cheese crumbles. Very good. The entrees were perfectly presented as always. I had the perfect Ribeye, Bone In of course, wow delicious, so good yummm. And the filet Mignon was picture perfect, destroying the competition, completely. You know the picture of a perfect filet Mignon, well this is one of those perfect un-butterflied fillets, juicy and tender. The Grouper special was my friends dish very yummy. And One of us had the double cut Pork Chop very tasty with a tangy sauce wow. The sides perfect and simple, asparagus, bread with butter, the mushroom appetizers with wine broth hummm, and a cheeesy potato dish that resembles Au Gratin potatoes, that was awesome. Jose sent us a buffet of deserts for us to choose from and candle and all for the birthdays! What a meal! perfection of course the place looked awesome as always like even the valet was nice. Kudos to Three Forks for giving us a memorable experience.

The food was good on our first visit so we decided to go back. On our second visit, the host was very rude. We didn’t have a reservation, but that is no reason to belittle someone and speak to them inattentively without looking them in their eyes, especially since we were the only ones there. That attitude is enough not to go back; there’s so many other restaurants to go to. Word of advice: If you serve tables or host at a restaurant be nice to the customers and don’t act like you’re better than them. You work to SERVE them.

If you are boxing someone’s food for them, don’t leave out the $ 36 lobster tail. I am FURIOUS. Are you kidding me?! I trust that if you box my food you won’t be leaving things out at your discretion. Our food was good– steak was excellent. Service was a bit rushed but not bad. We requested an intimate table if possible when we made the reservation and were sat by the bar and had people standing around our table the entire meal. We sat in the middle of the room. Not sure if we’ll be back.

The food was very salty and the waiter was extremely rude especially considering the upper scale dining environment. I would not recommend this place and will not be dining there again

Great food, good ambiance. Would’ve been a very nice experience just based on that. But our experience was made a million times better by our server. I think he said his name was David but everyone calls him«Teach» — he is wonderful! We had a private party in a separate room and Teach was very informed about the food, giving us excellent descriptions of various menu items and providing us with solid recommendations. The onion rings are impressive and the Cesar salad was damn tasty. The ribeye was insanely delicious — tender, seasoned and cooked perfectly. And the sides(all served family style) were great too — we had the spinach, roasted Brussels sprouts, six cheese potatoes, creamed corn(my favorite), and mushrooms. For dessert we tried a few things but I’d recommend either the Baileys chocolate cake or the bread pudding. I’d venture a guess that you probably can’t find anything on the menu that isn’t satisfying. Definitely recommend III Forks, especially if you’re looking for somethng«special» and indulgent.

Favorite special occasion place. Steaks are always perfect, and pricey. Over-the-top service. Mahi on this visit was particularly delicious. Your bill may leave you breathless…

Wine list nice! Waiter«Teach» started strong but for some reason towards end of service he was very distant and cold. We think that this may have been because of the service that was received from Mark. If you decide to eat here, Mark is exceptional! Food runners and bus boys provide exceptional service you do not see anymore. The food however was subpar. Unless of course you enjoy greasy, rich ok food. For the price, again we could have made a better meal at home. I had to stop at Walgreens and get a benedryl and a diuretic which is a first. Atmosphere great, service, great, food not worth the money.

Upscale atmosphere with down to earth, flavorful food. Their thanksgiving menu didn’t disappoint and would put grandma’s food to shame. Juicy turkey and uniquely seasoned sides followed by a array of dessert options. Not a place for kids, I got a few looks towards mine even though they kept it quiet with the help of our devices, and there were no utensils, cups or menus for children. Attentive staff and fast service. Overall a great experience.

Totally disappointed and feeling highly suspicious of the 3 – 4 star ratings. Ultimately, I feel completely duped. For starters. We made a reservation and they were 20 minutes behind. Totally ungracious and I apologetic. Then… The seafood combo app– what lacked flavor was covered up with salt. Lots of salt being used in this place. Scary levels of sodium. Be warned. Wines: The selection of wines by the glass are as generic as it gets. And to add. Just not that good. Our fillets. The toughest cuts of meat I’ve ever had. Antithesis of what a filet is supposed to me. To add, mine was so salty I had to send it back… After waiting what seemed like 20 minutes. In return, I got handed back a slab of meat that was so rare I could only eat the outer sides. Poor form. The service was also lackluster. I felt like I was being up sold on everything. What I did enjoy was the steamed spinach bough that was also salty and the chopped salad. Lastly. The bread is nasty and the butter had a freezer burn like taste to it. Never going back. Be warned.

This place by far needs to be put on your bucket list as a food connoisseur! The filet minon literally melts in your mouth. The ambiance is wonderful. Very romantic atmosphere and not too loud. The waiters are on point with timing and the food is beyond fresh and seasoned perfectly. It is very high priced but worth every penny! We just went again yesterday for valentine’s day and they even gave all the women a rose before you got up from the table. Just a wonderful place all around. The wine menu is also very good. Just a quick tip. The side items are a la carte and the portions are for at least 2. So when you order, I would keep that in mind that the side portions are very large :)

Just had my bday celebration… And I couldn’t be happier. Stevie V was the best server and made the whole night special, from his great suggestions to the yummy birthday dessert he brought out. The steak and brussel sprouts were so good. My hubby loved his burger. Thanks again!

Sign up for their club emails and get a free appetizer… we had the complimentary beef croustade which was delish! My husband and I split the III Forks salad which was fresh and perfectly dressed, I hate when their drown salads! Ordered the bone-in rib-eyes, tried one with the Kings Butter which was amazingly rich and flavorful… black truffle oil, garlic and Foie Gras(the real deal, not pâté), fried Brussel sprouts with a lemon aioli, and a huge baked potato. Steaks were cooked perfectly. Service was impeccable, Joe was our waiter and Tom the manager came over to chat and ask if everything was ok… love that personal touch when restaurants really care about your dinning experience! We were a little pressed for time, but would have loved to sit and have coffee and dessert… make sure you save room(we were stuffed anyway). Looking forward to going back!

Dined in at the restaurant this evening and did not have a good experience. I do not intend on going back to III Forks, nor will I recommend anyone to go visit. To begin with, the waiter did not introduce himself or welcome us to the restaurant, but our first interaction with him was«do you guys know what you want»? The entire dining experience he was non existent and awkward in his interactions. We sat at the table for 23 minutes after the food runner cleared the table, awkwardly and anxiously waiting for him to approach our table for dessert while walking by numerous times with our table cleared. The food was disappointing as well. The positive was that the cheeseburger was cooked perfectly and was a great taste with the lemon aioli. The lobster mac and cheese was served cold and lacked in the flavor. The dish only tasted like a heavy rous; just butter flour and the added cream, no flavor of cheese. The lobster that was served with it was tough as well. The vegetable ravioli sounded great on the menu with the mix of ingredients it used, but it tasted bland. I would like to compliment the hostess; she was welcoming and was a nice spirit. Also, our food runner was fantastic! He was polite, very nice, and was a frequent presence to ensure our glasses were filled and if we needed anything.

Hmmmmm. Well. Let’s start out by saying it’s place to dine when you are ready to spend some $$$. The décor is a bit dark and old school. And so is the crowd lol. The age group is about 40 and up. I recommend signing up for the mailing list before you go and they send you an email almost immediately for a free appetizer. They also do daily specials. Today was half price wine by the glass. They were also offering a wine tasting for $ 20 which came with 5 options of reds and a appetizer plate. If you order the steak be prepared as they start at $ 35 and up and the sides are all la carte. I opted for my free appetizer which was beef croustades for $ 13 bucks and I found it underwhelming. The meat was very tender and cooked well. They add an aoili sauce on the top. But it was still bland. I ordered the salmon Ceasar salad for dinner… it was just ok. I had to add fresh lemon juice, salt and pepper. It is served with large croutons, but they are soft not crunchy. I wasn’t impressed by the scenery, but might try a wine tasting event or another one of their special nights.

Like any high-end steakhouse, it is(as expected): * Dark Ambiance with a feeling you’d see people smoking cigars if it were legal in restaurants * Relatively slow * Expensive * Average clientele is dressed-up, generally aged 40+ It differs from other high-end steakhouses: * Quality of steaks do not match the high prices * Service is typically sub-par(relative to this price-range) * A bit louder than typical * Easy Parking After dining here several times, I prefer Del Frisco’s Grille(Palm Beach Island) which I feel is the best steakhouse in the area. Of course Morton’s or Ruth’s Chris in Cityplace(which typically has a good 3-course special from time-to-time if you search their website). If you’re in the area and do can’t make the drive to West Palm, The Capital Grille is a better option, in my opinion. Similarly priced but more airy and in my experience the quality is slightly improved.

We chose III Forks for Thanksgiving dinner. The ambience of the restaurant is very warm and upscale. The bar is a focal point at this restaurant. The bar is eye appealing and very well stocked with most premium booze. The wine list is also excellent. There were two choices for Thanksgiving meal and I opted for the filet. It was prepared very well and as I ordered. Those who ordered turkey were equally pleased. The sides were also very good. The dessert tables were well stocked, but I didn’t think the desserts were up to par with the rest of the meal. Mini pies, micro cheesecakes, and cookies just didn’t fit correctly with the style of the main course. I would have liked a slice of pie that tasted and appeared as robust and scrumptious as the rest of my dinner. Our waiter was top notch and he made sure everything was well tended to at our table. His name was Stevie. It was a blessing to have waiter who was so outstanding. He truly knew how to make our meal more enjoyable. I’d definitely recommend you give III Forks a try.
