Absolute worst service ever. Takes way too long for the food to come to the Table. I’ve had a terrible experience here twice and I won’t give them a third chance. Please save your time and money here. Check out Berry Fresh Café as an alternative. Their food and service never fails.

Brutally slow service. Took an hour to get our food. No coffee or water refills ever offered(took 30 minutes just to get coffee).

Good golly, how hard is it to make and serve pancakes? It was Friday later in the morning — 10ish. The place was not crowded; however, the service was terrible, the organization terrible — not a leisurely, relaxing breakfast. After we were finally seated, no one arrived for a good while to get us coffee or take our order. Now, mind you, it wasn’t full. Finally, we ordered, explaining that we had time constraints(which we wouldn’t have had if we had been timely seated and served). After a wait, the pancakes finally arrived, but we had no silverware. The server explained they were still wrapping silverware. Now, who gives a flip? Just get us silverware. We’re in a hurry now. We ate a few bites and left. Manager, if you have any questions, PM me. I have the receipt and can give you all the details.

I usually go here every other weekend. My breakfast this morning was tasteless and tragic. I asked for well done bacon and had to send it back. It was fatty and burnt around the edges. The brought the same bacon back to me blacker than my shoes. Never again. Ate at Fort Lauderdale last weekend with friends. Quality of this chain is really slipping.

Been here a couple of times before. The food isn’t great but we needed a quick breakfast. Additionally, Groupon brought us here, 33% off. Be careful when parking near the entrance. The lanes are only wide enough for one car and there are no signs. The place was not crowded. Weekday and mid-morning. They have ample seating. We were greeted and seated by the most disinterested hostess. Then, we were assaulted twice by two different waitresses about coffee. They were so eager to pour, coffee almost went into my cup before I can decline. They say«coffee lovers?». Whoa, give me space! They are supposedly known for their Apple Baby, which is a puffed up baked pancake that takes 30 minutes to make. We didn’t try that but maybe the next time. We ordered the Four by Four! It was 4 pancakes, 2 eggs your way for only 6 bucks. Great deal, enough for 2! Of course, no breakfast, or meal or anything at all, can go without bacon. We ordered a side each. Its 4 large pieces for 3 bucks. That’s where they getcha! The pancakes were huge, a bit gummy but sweet enough. The bacon cooked perfectly, a tad towards too crispy. But its bacon. They can burn it and its still yummy. I highly doubt the maple syrup and their butter were the real deal! The butter had no taste and maple too sugary. Our waitress was efficient and attentive. When we presented the Groupon, she had to ask for assistance. I’m used to places knowing how to handle Groupons. Management should show wait staff how to handle groupons or at least act like they know. They don’t scan the groupons here. They write down the code and adjust the bill. It’s not the best breakfast but it will do.

Excellent overall experience! I have been going to this pancake house for years with my family. The service is great and the food was delicious. The manager came to visit our table and he was a delight. Chris made us feel like family. GREATTURNAROUND! I have always enjoyed my experience but today was beyond perfection. Awesome staff! It is a must to try with your family.

I came here on a Sunday for brunch around 10−11am. There was a short 5 – 10 wait before we were seated. Our waitress was prompt to come serve us and gave drink suggestions to start. I ordered an OJ and my friend ordered a chocolate milk to start. I ordered the Greek omelette(filled with feta cheese, tomatoes and spinach) that comes with pancakes or toast. I got pancakes with it. My friend ordered a chicken sandwich and home fries. The omelette takes 20 – 25 min to bake. They warn you ahead of time. I was surprised how massive the omelette was when it arrived. I could barely finish it. It was really good. My friend thought the chicken sandwich was okay but wouldn’t get it again.

This place is back to serving terrific breakfast. We were here over Thanksgiving and had a disappointing meal with slow service, but today the service and food were outstanding. The crapes and 49ers are the best pancakes around

I have never been inspired to write a Unilocal review until my girlfriend and I visited The Original Pancake House today. This was by far one of the worst experiences of our lives. We arrived around 11am and waited about 30 minutes to be seating, which is understandable because it’s Sunday and Father’s Day. After being seated, our server was very timely getting our drinks out and taking our order given how busy she was. At that point of time, we began to wait and wait and wait for our meals to be made. After 1 hour, 4 cups of coffee and no heads up from either the server or manager, our food finally shows up. We ask to speak with the manager at this point. The manager, Chris P, shows up very nonchalantly and leans up against our booth as if he is clueless on why he was requested to come visit our table. As my girlfriend explains why we are a little upset about our eggs taking an hour to be delivered, Chris begins to blame the kitchen for going down. We inquire why we were never told this, because we saw tables arrive after us and leave before we even received our food. Chris then begins to blame the server for not telling us that our food was going to take much longer than expected. Before we could finish speaking with Chris we walked away and said«I’ll take care of it». He then paid for our whole check and never returned. We didn’t expect our food to be paid for, nor did we expect a manager to blame everyone in the restaurant besides himself for what happened. Chris was the perfect manager to cap off and disgusting brunch. It’s safe to say, that the closest breakfast place to our house will never see us again…

AMAZINGTURNAROUND ! I’ve been going to this place for years. The food has always been fabulous and the service always way below average. However, recently there seems to be a very positive change in the attitude of the greeter and servers. And, I am no longer waiting 45 minutes for my food. I highly recommend this place for breakfast and lunch — especially if you are into healthy options.

Good food and friendly service. Struck up a nice relationship with the server, and she even shared with us a book of her poetry! Solid option for breakfast in the PBG area.

Horrible! Gave this chain another chance, but it doesn’t matter what state your are in, their food is just nasty. I ordered the basic biscuit and gravy, without sausage. Gravy tasted like flour goo. No salt, no pepper… Just plain nasty. French toast tasted like foam(with syrup)… Can’t believe these restaurants are still around.

The gentlemen who answers the phone is always rude. Subpar food. There are many amazing breakfast places in the area. This not one of them.

My corn beef hash had bunch of hair in it. It looked like someone just had a haircut and it fell all over my food. Lost my appetite and even though I drive by daily, I wont ever return.

I love their pancakes! Lightly, fluffy, perfect taste! They also have great turkey sausage. For those who actually have an issue with gluten, they have a GF selection as well. I don’t know about this other locations, but this one has a machine that makes freshly squeezed OJ per request. Real freshly squeezed OJ is so good and much healthier for you. I have not been very diverse with my selections when i’ve been, I guess I love the pancakes too much to branch out. :) The only downfall I see is their coffee. It is very very weak. Its so bad that we generally stop and get coffee somewhere else and bring it in with us. The service is decent, if they get a little busy it can be slower than expected, even for a slightly busy atmosphere. however, they’ve always been friendly and so that helps. I wish we had one of these in Orlando, I’d show up weekly!

we like to come here because they will service breakfast anytime, which is great for those sleep in days. our favorites here are the pancakes and the french toast. they have huge omelets that are awesome. Also there is a gluten free option as well, which is nice to have that option. They have cheap prices and they have very fast service. This chain has a few locations.
