Went here for the first time for a birthday dinner with 5 other people besides myself. We went for the 4-course meal & tried cheddar & a homemade concoction for the cheese fondues. Then onto salads– Caesar was ok & I suggest to ask for no pine nuts! They have a really good wedge salad with ranch, blue cheese, & bacon that I highly recommend! I ended up choosing an entrée called the«French Quarter» which was absolutely fantastic with a little variety of steak, chicken, shrimp and sausage doused in Cajun seasoning because I’m a spicy lover! Highly recommend something with a variety for your first time! We chose oil & wine broth for our cooking which was a good duo. For the chocolate, we chose a signature chocolate with caramel mixed in & pecans which wasn’t as great as I thought it would be. It was a nice touch with a little fire on top of it glowing at first! The other chocolate fondue was my favorite called coconut rum! Give it a try! If you’d like a server requested, ask for Kevin! He was AWESOME& it made me come back 3 days later. Love this place! It’s very expensive but you’re there for the atmosphere! Enjoy it!

I have to start by saying that I love this restaurant and I currently live in Miami Beach but drove up to Palm Beach Gardens in order to go to dinner with my mother here last night. We were extremely excited to celebrate my mother’s birthday last and even more excited that there was an endless entrée special when you got the four course meal, so it was even more enticing. Again we were so excited for this night and it started off on a positive note when a woman named Allison called to confirm our reservation. I asked what they typically do for birthdays and she said well we bring a candle out and sing but if you wanted balloons or flowers we could do that as well. I said a candle would be great but if it could be a surprise that would be even better. Fast forward to the dinner. We had a very knowledgeable server who said she had been at the Melting Pot for 6 years. She was very nice and although we’ve been to the Melting Pot many times she guided us through making a few different decisions which were great. SO I’m sure by now you’re wondering if everything was great, why the one star? Well we ordered endless entrée for our entrée. Which endless means, well endless. We started with the first platter which was chicken, steak, raviolis, and shrimp. We asked if we could have more steak and shrimp and the second plate came with 5 pieces of each. We then asked for a third plate and it came and we started eating a bit slower but we were still enjoying and eating. The server never came by and our oil was getting extremely hot to the point that when we put the skewers with the steak and shrimp in the oil it began popping. So at that point I waited because I was going to ask the server to lower the heat so we could enjoy the rest of the shrimp. However, when our server came she came with a lock to put on the oil and the bus boy was with her and with his hands scooped up the raw shrimp onto another plate and cleared our table. She walked away with the oil and he remained at the table. Nothing was asked to us and they assumed that we were done even though we still had food on the table. I spoke to the bus boy saying that we weren’t finished and it would have been nice if prior to them clearing the table they would have had the decency to ask. I have never been to a restaurant in my 31 years of living where when you have food still on the table people just TAKEITAWAY. When you’re spending $ 100 for two people to eat dinner and before you finish the server just takes away the food it’s pretty shocking. I’m assuming that the busser told the server what we said about how we weren’t finished because our server’s attitude changed completely. Our chocolate fondue experience was ok but as soon as she brought the desserts to dip in the chocolate she dropped the check. And the cherry on top of the disappointing night, was that there were people singing at the surrounding tables(servers singing happy birthday) but when our desert came there was no candle. No singing. Nothing. The service from this girl who worked there for 6 years made me never want to go to this location again. Bottom line, if you’re thinking of taking your time and enjoying a four course meal stay home and do it yourself. Because if they offer a four course meal they shouldn’t try to rush you out the door. I didn’t go to McDonald’s but I had the service as if I was holding up the drive thru.

I would recommend! The place is located in a plaza on the 2nd floor. It is a sit down and enjoy the company type of place with dim lighting and basically private seating. Our waitress Kailee was awesome. She knew how to make ya feel important and explained everything very well. This was our first time as I saw it on groupon and decided to go for a date night with the boyfriend. They serve alcohol too to make the experience enjoyable for those guys who aren’t into fancy boyfriend had a bottle of bud light and I enjoyed a yin & yang Tini. It was white chocolate liqueur and chocolate shavings and ice cream. Reminded me of a mudslide! We added the cheese fondue, bacon and jalapeño. It wasn’t too bad. I enjoyed dipping the veggies and bread into it. Then we had Cesar salads. Next was the main food. Which we opted for steak, chicken and pork. 2 types of chicken were buffalo and regular. Next was peppercorn steak, teriyaki steak and filet mignon. Also had Memphis bbq pork. Cooking style we used was the complementary veggie broth. All was delicious. Also came with some dipping sauces(curry, teriyaki and another one that I don’t remember the name but it was good!). Last thing we had was the chocolate. We ordered cookies and cream. OMG I coulda just ate that all night long. Bananas, strawberries, pineapple, brownie pieces, pound cake and many more was provided to dip. Even offered some more to finish off the chocolate, but we were full! I can’t wait to go back again. I’m salivating while writing this lol.

** Key note– This is a sit down and enjoy the company your with kind of restaurant. Expect to be here 2 to 3 hours. ** This place is in a strange shopping area it’s in a regular office building with a realtor company. The food is always good, fresh, and tasty. Most of the waiters know their stuff and it’s a great place to have a nice birthday dinner, anniversary or date. My wife and I have been here multiple times the only bad experience ever had was with a male manager who talked down to us like we were idiots. The other lady manager with short brown hair is fantastic.

Cheddar cheese fondue appetizer, pear and Gorgonzola salad(amazing), duck sirloin shrimp potsticker sausage ravioli entrée in broth fondue entrée. Milk choc fondue for desserts. Four dirty martinis and two Belgian coffees with dessert. Tony the waiter was fantastic. Had a groupon for the three courses for two people(paid 45). The bill came to 63(excluded the 45 for groupon). Would have been $ 109 without groupon. Great food service and atmosphere

The experience was great, but pricey and lengthy. We sat down at 7pm and received our bill at 930pm. There was only two of us. We ordered 1 four course plate. Total cost 90.00 dollars.

I have eaten at many Melting Pots. This one is the best in terms of décor and service. Todd is a very involved and conscientious owner and makes his mark with a well-trained and generally happy staff. The food is no worse or better than other Melting Pots. I find that the experience across their different locations is consistent and predictable, a good franchise model especially when consistent and predictable means really good food, a fun experience and nice atmosphere. I have dined here a number of times, taken my entire office here and sometimes just went for dessert. That I highly recommend. You don’t need to invest three hours every time, just go and have chocolate fondue and go more frequently! The traditional Swiss cheese fondue has been my favorite since I went to the Melting Pot in Gainesville many moons ago. Still great.

I went here for my birthday dinner with just my boyfriend and I and I must say I wasn’t impressed, this was also our first time here. I cooked my food for the recommend amount of time and my chicken wasn’t cooked. The place is pretty, kind of hard to find. Our waiter wasn’t the friendliest and didn’t really explain the menu to us.

This particular location is really cool. It’s upstairs in a plaza that you would almost otherwise pass by, but the atmosphere as soon as you enter the building is that of an exclusive lounge. Dim lighting with design that feels like a fusion of classic lounge bar and modern restaurant make this a perfect spot for an intimate occasion or night out. The booths have large high backs so each booth feels like it’s own room, which is great for privacy and makes the occasion all that more personal. Our waitress, Tiki, was a really sweet person, extremely attentive, kind, and made my girlfriend and I feel important. She gave great suggestions and prepared everything wonderfully. It had been a long week and we appreciated the good service. If you go here, you must do a 4 course experience. It provides enough food for you to fill up and makes the meal feel special, especially by the time you get to dessert. We had the four course summer special with the bbq brisket cheese, wedge salad, old bay seasoning fish bake, and banana split chocolate. The cheese was a perfect blend of salty and sweet, with the meat adding texture to it and making it a starter that wasn’t too rich. The sharpness of the cheddar was balanced by the hopps of the ale base, and the sweetness of the onion and bbq helped to round out the dry and bitterness. The old bay seasoned broth was fantastic. Spicy, bold, and with red potato, andouille sausage and fresh corn on the cob marinating in it as it boiled, the flavors were abundantly there. The assortment of meats was well thought out as well. Scallops, shrimp, crab claw meat, andouille sausage, and lobster ravioli were perfect accompaniments to each other and the broth itself. The assortment of sauces you’re given also gives you plenty of options for different flavors. The banana split chocolate had us wondering where the ice cream was. The chocolate alone was creamy and reminiscent of an actual banana split. The pound cake was especially good with this chocolate as the buttery notes of the cake brought out the full rich flavor of the chocolate and that same ice cream flavor. Also, who doesn’t love Oreo encrusted marshmallow dipped in chocolate? The full experience was an absolute pleasure. It made for a beautiful night out and we are sure to return there in the future.

My two daughters and I started off with not being too hungry tonight, but ended up with an amazing three course meal that was amazingly delicious for a fondue & most of all our server Jason and his helper James made the night even better with their superb service. The first course was spinach & artichoke fondue that had a great selection of accompaniments from fresh fruit to pumpernickel bread to vegetables & we enjoyed every bit! The second course was a great selection of salads, served perfectly & we tasted all three of their options. Our last course, and my personal favorite because it included dark chocolate, well it is good for you right, but it included rice crispy treats, marshmallows, fresh fruit & so much more. Let’s just say there was a lot lot goodness floating around in that pot! Let’s just say, this diner had a great meal & a great experience! Thank you melting pot!

We had a great time at our anniversary dinner last night! The first thing I checked was to see if it smelled like fish, but all I smelled was fresh bread. We had made reservations and mentioned that it was our anniversary, so once we walked in the host greeted us and said ‘happy anniversary’. We were then seated down a small, quiet hallway that had about 4 – 5 tables intimate tables. There was a happy anniversary card waiting for us, which was nice. We liked our table, but could still hear the conversations at the tables around us. That didn’t really bother us, but we like how the Boca location has curtains that close around just about every booth, so that you have the privacy. Our waitress Tiki, was great and personable. She had good timing and we appreciated her telling us when happy hour was about to end, so that we could put in another drink order at the lower pricing. The food is pretty consistent in every location — delicious! The only part we missed on this visit was having a picture taken. We’ve celebrated our anniversary for the past 6 years at the Boca location, and they’ve always come to our table, took a picture, then printed it out and had it in a card for us by the time we leave. So I have a cute little collection going. It would’ve been nice to add to it. We did have Tiki take a picture on our phone, so the memories aren’t forgotten :)

Tried the all Swiss fondue was pretty good, but will probably go back to the cheddar Swiss mix. The add-on to the chocolate fondue was really good, the fresh raspberries and cheesecake were the best part. Don’t like that they no longer offer iced tea, except bottled. It really smelled like fish when we first entered, really strong… gross. But the food was good and we were far enough away we didn’t smell it at dinner.

The food was great, the dessert was even better. Our server was great. With that said, the hostess was rude and had my gift card not been specifically for the Melting Pot I would have left. She made us feel very uncomfortable because we didn’t have a reservation. We arrived when they opened at 4pm. We didn’t know about making a reservation because we had never been there. Had she been nice about it, it wouldn’t have been a problem, but she was down right condescending about it. She is the sole reason we will not go back.

We just went there for New Years Eve and experienced a good meal. We had a nice server(Cami) who took care of us well. We had the Boston Lager Cheese dip which was yummy. I had a house salad which was ok not great. That was one part of the meal I did not finish. The meat and seafood course was spectacular. Lobster, filet, pork, chicken and shrimp. I believe this was a pre assigned course but boy was it good. We also had some help trying the mojo broth which added a very nice touch of flavor in our food. I recommend giving it a shot. I also liked that they presented the plating for the sauces as the«OCD plate.» I can imagine that’s hard to hear if you do have OCD. For dessert we had the Rocky Road fondue which was decent. I loved the dipping options they gave us. Unfortunately my husband doesn’t like pecans so I missed out on enjoying the whole experience. Overall, its a New Years Eve tradition for us and we will keep coming back.

Probably the best service i’ve ever had! The food was delicious, specially the yin yang chocolate dessert, though the place is kind of hard to find if you are in a rush. Ask for Kevin if you go there! He’s the nicest server i’ve ever met, really, the best!

The menu at the melting pot has changed and so the experience is quite different than it used to be a few years ago. I’ve been to this Melting Pot several times, and each time I have left impressed with the service, the food, the atmosphere and overall, just how great the Melting Pot is. A few years ago, you used to have to order most things a la carte, which got a little confusing. Now, you have the option of ordering specific items by themselves or you can opt for the four course meal, which includes cheese fondue, a salad, a hefty portion of meat or seafood, and chocolate. I really wanted the ahi tuna(which I don’t believe they’ve offered until recently) so I opted for the a la carte meal. I started with the Wisconsin trio, a blend of strongly flavored blue cheeses, and we also got the Grecian goddess cheese. I usually get the Wisconsin trio but I really like how strong it tastes. It was great with the bread and the vegetables. The Grecian goddess was a delicious option as well — though it was a little bit milder than the Wisconsin. After the cheese came out, it was time for our entrees. Now, the idea of Melting Pot is that you get to cook your meat as little or as much as you want to. I’ve had almost all of their meat and it is really all very good. The ahi tuna was amazing though, definitely my favorite out of the bunch. We got the coq au vin broth as well as the complimentary broth. Both were pretty good, though the coq au vin had a stronger and more unique flavor due to the spices and wine. After we stuffed ourselves with the entrée, it was time for my favorite course: dessert! Melting Pot does dessert very well. There are lots of options for chocolate dipping and all are pretty good. I’ve had a lot of different types of their chocolate, but my favorite have to be the cookies and cream and the flaming turtle. The chocolate is brought out with strawberries, pound cake, rice Krispy treats, brownies and bananas. All are excellent with the chocolate. The service here has always been friendly and top-notch, and it’s always a pleasant experience to come to the Melting Pot. I can’t wait to come back!
