Mar-A-Lago

Finest luxury resort the world. The Palm Beach air; sand and sea combine with classic Trump amenities prove a rejuvenation experience of the mind and body.

We went to the Leukemia and Lymphoma benefit last night, and it was the third time I had been at an event at Mar-​A-​Lago. It’s the epitome of a grand Palm Beach estate, with unique architecture and elaborate décor in every room. Even the rest room entrance doors are carved wood. Everything is first class, from the moment you drive through the main gate to the porte-​cochere: the valet, hostesses, service staff, etc. The ballroom was decorated beautifully for the event, and the service was top notch thought the seated dinner, despite the many guests. Our water and wine/​champagne glasses were always filled. They had numerous bars set up so at the most, there were only a few people in line in front of you at any time. The food was very good, not great, as is typically the case when you dine with hundreds of people at the same time. The menu was obviously limited, but they accommodated guests that requested fish or vegetarian dishes instead of the osso bucco. All in all, it was a great experience for a wonderful cause. Will look forward to going back next year.

I’ve attended two weddings here and the ceremonies were absolutely breath taking. The venue itself is perfection, the staff was extremely professional and we had the time of our lives! I am yet to be married but when that day comes and a budget just falls from the sky… We’re hitting this place!!!

Went here for Thanksgiving — a once in a life time experience — met the Don and his family, along with other celebs. What’s funny is we ran into our server a few nights before at the bar at Duffy’s!

This was actually my 2^nd time here but first since I have become a Unilocaler.
What can I say about this place!!! Class all the way. Service from A to Z. Right to the end when the valet brings your car.
Food was great, Ambiance perfect.
Even the Don himself showed up and was more than happy to pose for photo’s. Every photo he had a smile and sure did not mind all the beautiful girls by his side.

Can I live here please? This place is amazing. Attention to detail is mind blowing. And it’s right across from the ocean. The cars that come in and out are a car enthusiasts dream. Love it!

This is a private club owned by Donald Trump. Originally built by the heiress to the Post Cereal fortune, it’s elaborate castle-​style décor is over the top. If you have a chance to attend an event here, you should go. We attended a dinner in the big ball room, with at least 18 enormous crystal chandeliers and gilding on the ceiling. Cocktails were in and around a smaller building. A stunning venue and great food, although I think the later is attributed to an outside caterer. A guy who has worked there in various capacities for 50+ years gave an interesting brief talk on the history of the place. The one misstep is that the bathrooms didn’t appear to be checked during the event and could have used tidying up. No cameras allowed.

If you have a chance to go to Mar-​A-​Lago, I would take it. It’s an amazing experience and breathtaking from the entrance, to the dining rooms, to the bathrooms. If you attend during a holiday, Trump will always be there with his family, along with a few other celebs. Great people watching.

If I could give 10 stars. this is the place that would get it. Mar a Lago is internationally known as one of Trumps many landmarks. It’s a country club open to Members only. If you want to become a member then get ready to fork over at a few figures. per YEAR… A few times a year Mar a Lago hosts a variety of charity events, car shows, fashion shows, and cocktail parties. The country club is quite a sight to see. This is also where the Donald and Melania had their Reception after their wedding. Its beautifully adorned with columns and arches, marble floors, and enough gold coating to make you have to look twice. The club offers a private spa, private chefs, tennis court, croquet, and a view to kill. I’ve attended and participated in a couple of these events so check out my photos. :)
