Closets By Design

I had a really bad experience with this company. I ordered a very specific design including drawer size. The designer failed to write down the drawer size in my contract and did not do a line item review of the design. We had discussed the drawer size numerous times and even mentioned it to the owner (I believe her name is Jen). At any rate, on the day of the installation I saw the drawers and immediately knew there had been a mistake. I called my closet designer and had to FIGHT with the owner to get her to give me the correct drawers for a $ 3000 closet. It was clearly their mistake not mine. In the end I was able to get what I ordered for the most part but I found the whole experience unprofessional. I agree with Nina, STAY AWAY. Closets By Design was the only closet installer with multiple immediate available time slots to install — in retrospect it was my fault for not recognizing the signs of a bad company.
Also, their pricing system was dishonest/​confusing.
Business owner clearly posting their own reviews. Caroline J of Boca, 0 reviews happens to post 5 stars just a few days after my review. «It has the best selection and quality of closets for the price. » Can you be any more obvious? More dishonest business practices from these guys, STAY AWAY!

Only my hubby makes a super early morning appointment with the design consultant for closets, on a Saturday on top of it.
I really did want to get my master bedroom closet customized. So I had the perfect place for my boots, heels, handbags, scarves, belts… And not to mention my gazillion clothes. Ever since we moved into the new house I haven’t really done an over the top organization of my closet. In the past I have organized my closet by colors or materials or clothing type etc.
Julia Johnson from Closets by Design came yesterday morning to give us a free consultation. I had previously told my hubby to get a price quote and we can discuss it later. But he was so impressed by her experience and her ideas for our closets that he woke me up.
I’m glad he did because I got to decide exactly what color wood/​materials we wanted. She drew and measured our closets and gave us all the ideas in a timely manner. We ended up signing with Closets by Design yesterday to customize our two walk in closets as well as our linen closet in our master bedroom.
On Monday they will set a date within two weeks to install and customize our closets. I can’t wait Im so excited. Honestly if your worried about the costs they have many options to lower the costs. Also no project is too big or small for them. They customize garages, pantries, linen closets, offices etc. We ended up doing our entire master bedroom walk in closets and linen closet. Sometimes as humans we don’t realize how organized closets can start the day right to finish. I would definitely recommend them if your in Palm Beach county for a consultation of your closet.
