Best maduros (sweet plantains) outside of Cuba. The bathroom facilities are beyond insufficient, however. One single-​person ladies’ room for the entire place. At ¹⁄₅ capacity, you will be waiting, so just prepare your date to sit alone in advance.

I love this place but stay away on Cinco de Mayo!!! Waited 50 minutes to never receive our ceviche which we ordered twice with our server Kim. Asked for water a total of 7 times and got two waters, three empty glasses on our table (table of 2!) for most of the evening. Sarah and Andrea are great however Kim is very slow. Poorly prepared for cinco!!! we left to find somewhere else to go! It’s sad because I love the food but poorly organized for a big night and service terribly slow

Went last night and had a nice meal. however when we ordered a shot of crown the liquor had definitely been watered down (couldn’t even smell the alcohol). When we told the bartender she said «it is an old bottle so some of the alcohol probably evaporated»

Lots of people saying the service was slow… we went for dinner, 7 of us and it was perfect. Sat right away and it was on par with any other restaurant, not sure why people complain about the service. I had the Peruvian ceviche and it was delicious. Also we got the chips and salsa and guacamole. The guacamole was good, nothing special, but hot damn the salsa was delicious! Realllly good salsa, I would highly recommend it. I had a beef and pork taco and they were fine, I wanted the fish taco but it had a mango marinade, I’m not a fan of mango or pinapple. Everyone at the table enjoyed their meal, waitress was real nice.

Wanted to eat at Mezzaluna’s wait was too long. Went in Burrito 101 no wait, or so it seemed. Stood in the door way for 10 minutes without being acknowledged. Seemed very under staffed for a Friday night. Finally were sat down and it took over 45 minutes to get our food. Waitress was nice but didn’t check in enough to make sure we were ok while waiting an obscene amount of time for our food. Didn’t update is as to the status of our food, i.e. «The kitchen is backed up» «your roof will be out shortly» nothing like that. Food was ok not anything exciting to make me want to go back.

I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant! Went there last night with 5 girlfriends to celebrate a birthday. The service was great. Our waitress (Kim) accommodated all our requests The empanadas and cerviche appetizers were excellent. 2 had the steak. Tender and juicy, I had the shredded pork. Flavorful food without killing the tastebuds! We will be back!

Went back a second time with family once again they were fantastic, food was spot on and they did a great job on everything, If your looking for a casual place for good Mexican food this is it, nice and relaxed and fun.

Cool atmosphere, full bar, love the floor. Service was very accommodating, the bartender made her first Caipirinha and it was spot on. Food was delicious. We had fish ceviche, ropa vieja, burrito and quesadilla. Considering the mixed origins of our choices, each turned out really well. Looking forward to returning. A great addition to Palm Coast and the European Village!

Stopped in just at noon so can’t confirm the service. We were the only ones here. Had the fish & shrimp ceviche. Very tasty but a little too much lime juice for my wife. Prices seem reasonable for the area.

This is coolest place ever! The design inside Is so crazy! Every room is decorated different from the others in a cozy, chill, unique type of way! Super fresh food with huge variety to choose from. I had never been to European village before. I felt like I was in another country! I’m sure it has great night life on the weekends. I can’t wait to go back!!! If you’re ever in the area be sure to stop in! You won’t regret it! Nom nom nom!

My wife and I were in the mood for Mexican food for dinner and decided upon Burrito 101. We had eaten here for lunch before and really enjoyed it. The dinner was great. We had the shrimp quesadillas and pork quesadillas. Both were great! The chips and salsa are to die for. The white sangria was great also. Definitely coming back again.

Food was not authentic. Appetizers seemed to be out of a frozen bag and deep fried. I got the empanadas and papa rellena.

Great food, service and atmosphere. A true find, nestled in a European type square. A new favorite we’ll certainly revisit when we’re in the area.

My wife and I started off inside but it was such a pleasant evening we finished off outside on the patio. Tiffany, our fabulous waitress, even helped us move everything out side. My wife had the steak burrito. Which was so huge she had to take half of it home, gladly, she loves late night snacks. I had the Mojo pork. It was wonderful. I wish we had room for dessert because the Flan is homemade by the owner and wonderful. Next time my wife insists that we start first with dessert.
Great choices of wine and beer, at a reasonable price. We will be back again and again!

Just not very authentic Mexican, could make better at home which is sad because I don’t want to cook at homee everyday

We have been here several times it gets better every time. The garlic shrimp were delicious and the ceviche was fresh and delicious too.

Liked the place. We had an excellent server that paid attention to our needs. The food presentation was like eating in a high end gourmet restaurant. Food was tasty but a little more spicier than I would normally order. I will tell them to cool it down a bit next time. I will be back.

Like this place a lot. I can see where the previous reviewer might have gotten agitated with the service. 1) They’re relatively new. 2) I don’t think they have enough space behind the counter. So yes, I think the service could probably be better and more focused, but that’s the only thing the previous reviewer and I agree on.
I love it. The food has been great and if you like European Village you’ll like the place. It fits right in. The food is quite good so long as you know what you want in it. If you leave out the good stuff you’ll end up with something bland as these guys really let you build your own!
You can leave out all sorts of things: Pico De Gallo, cheese, and many of the sauces generally dropped into various dishes automatically. To be honest, this place reminds me a little of El Faro’s in San Francisco. When you walk in the door you’re thinking, «OMG! What have I gotten myself into?» You take your burrito and walk out only to discover it’s freakin’ AWESOME!
And as for the price? I have NO idea what the previous reviewer is talking about. The first time I went there I fed and liquered up six people for about $ 70 WITH TIP! The owner and I went over the bill to make sure he didn’t miss anything cuz I was SURE something was wrong.
My 13 year old son doesn’t like much of anything and he loves this place. It’s the fact that he can leave stuff out that makes him so happy there.
Be patient and specific and I think you’ll be surprised how good Burrito 101 actually is. :-)

Awful. Service was atrocious. Was asked by three different people what our order was. Said they accommodate gluten free but I had to supervise them making my meal because they had no clue. The food had zero flavor and was EXPENSIVE. Not worth the money spent in any way. Would never return.
