Weak breakfast– no eggs and bacon, shitty toast. No fresh fruit. TV channels suck, small TV, no hD. Rough Kleenex. Two stars for being clean.

Probably one of the worst hotels I have ever seen or smelled. I am having my wedding here in August and decided I would NOT ever re commend my guests to stay at Days Inn Palm Coast. The manager John Smarsh when confronted with our issues including our«non» smoking rooms that were clearly smoking rooms and our key card entry did not work for the 5 days we stayed, and our non existent blankets– in which we eventually got blankets which had cigarette burns and our shower head which worked less than a human spitting. JOHNSMARSH the«general manager» was a joke of a GM and refused to help or even acknowledge with any dignity our issues. Ps: when we asked John Smarsh the franchise presidents name he said«who cares they don’t speak English» bigoted much? Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Boo hoo to Days Inn for allowing such unprofessional service.

1st clue: only 6 other cars on the parking lot. First room was found to haves soiled linens complete with lots of hairs and stains in both beds. After the second room change, one of two bed was soiled with stains and hairs. The other bed was clean. I’m too tired to complain and move again. Do not stay here!!! Good night folks!

When attempting to reserve room on line price jumped $ 10 from initial looking — called and got«sorry can’t change it» We chose to book anyhow for convenience. The room was ok not great not bad. I was surprised by the stains in the carpet at what I thought was a relatively new place. The deal breaker that made us check out early was the cellophane wrapped gas station muffins that was meant to suffice for the continental breakfast. This wasn’t the cheapest in the area but thought it would be the most convenient — next trip won’t be here. Paid more and still had to pay for a real breakfast.

Very nice hotel. The room was nice. Only checked in because of heavy rain on 95. If you do stay here don’t buy any drinks or snacks from their little display. It cost me $ 4.10 for a 16 ounce soda and a twix bar. Giving a 2 star rating because of the snack price.

A mediocre hotel. We stayed for the weekend with a couple of other family members. One group said they had to switch rooms because there was old food left in the fridge and that same day we had a manager open our door while we were there. In terms of our refrigerator, you could hear it working but after putting our own food in it, by the next morning it had gone bad from the fridge not being cold enough. Overall a positive experience, comfortable and clean beds but little issues that distract from the experience.

Last week, I purchased two rooms for guests who were visiting Palm Coast. Both parties told me that the rooms were spacious, the beds were very comfortable, it was very clean, and that the staff was helpful. The only reason I gave the hotel 4 stars is that this Days Inn doesn’t serve a full breakfast like other hotels in their price range. I will definitely recommend this hotel in the future.

I wasn’t sure about going here because I never would stay at a Days Inn. I decided to look at the rooms before checking into the Fairfield inn up the street. I was very surprised to say the least. After reading the previous review, none of these problems were present. I loved the room, reminded me so much of a really nice Marriot Courtyard. Perhaps the best beds we have slept in at any hotel. The rooms were cozy and clean and we had a nice view of the pond. The color scheme was very relaxing. Ask for a room on the fourth floor, clean and quiet. I couldn’t beat the price at under $ 60.00 bucks. We ended up staying six nights total. Four stars and not five? The downside. Limited staff, you are on your own. The breakfast is totally lame. But the room makes up for the inconvenience. Yes, I would go back and definately recommend this hotel.

Two days here was too much. The place had opened in September 2010 so one would assume that five months would be enough to get the kinks worked out — apparently not. The carpets in the elevator(the one that wasn’t broken) and the hallways were disgusting. It looked as if there had been some violent mishap with a sharp object and a can of oil almost everywhere you looked less the room itself but with the inadequate lighting, it was tough to tell anyway. There was no hot water, luke warm was the extent of it and that’s even giving it more than it deserves but it didn’t stop there; the pool was FREEZING cold too due to a broken heater for the two days we were there. It was also under shade by the building itself for the majority of the day so there wasn’t even a way to get any sun, granted, being Irish, that’s not a bad thing for me but most people enjoy getting some color while lounging poolside in Florida. The internet connection was down(both wired and wireless) and apparently wasn’t a huge priority to get repaired because were were informed that it should be fixed in 48 hours or so which corresponded perfectly with our departure. That all being said, most of the staff was courteous(less the manager parking his Corvette in the handicapped spot on a busy weekend) and the breakfast offerings weren’t terrible but I suppose I expected more out of such a large chain. I suppose the fact that it was in a Home Depot parking lot should have been a clue upon arrival to maybe reconsider but oh well, what’s done is done and shall never be done again.
