My wife cut off the end of her finger on a recent Friday morning. She was seen in the emergency room at Eisenhower Medical Center, and referred to a local hand surgeon. She called on Monday morning, and was told they could fit her in on Thursday. She was in a good deal of pain, so I went online, found the Center, called and left a message. Within 10 minutes Dr. Bowen called back, and said he could see her at 11AM. He and his assistant, Lynn, were very friendly and attentive. He offered us several choices, and my wife chose a skin graft — which he performed on the spot. He saw her several times in followup to be sure everything was going well. Her finger healed beautifully, and the injury is hardly noticeable. Dr. Bowen is a great surgeon and a very nice person.
