I had a great experience at this neat and well staffed location. Checker Beth was courteous, knowledgeable, and very friendly. She took the time to call another location to get another customer a sought after item, while simultaneously answering my questions while on hold. I felt that she was very honest and took the time to listen to my gaming preferences before recommending me a game. They have more collectielble figurines at this location than any other Game Stop I’ve been in before too.
I would highly recommend coming to this location for fabulous customer service!

This Used To Be My Go To Store All The Time Its Right Down The Street From My House And Work So Always Go To This Location For Everything This Location On Monterey I Had Bought A Call Of Duty Black Ops 3 PS4 Bundle That Is Defective Talked To A Girl Name Sarah And She Said They Have No Return Policy On The System When The Back Of Receipt Clearly States Opened New Merchandise For Exact Same Item So I Don’t Understand How They Couldn’t Exchange It For Same One I Asked For The District Managers Number She Said She’s Not Allowed To Give It Out I Said Give Me The Corporate Number And She Was Giving Me The Runaround Till She Gave It To Me I Called And Spoke To Them And They Said All Of Their Product Whether Its A System Game Anything They Have Has A Return Policy They Don’t Understand Why I Was Denied The Rep I Called Told Me To Go To A Different Location And They Should Able To Take Care Of Me Which They Did The Location In Palm Springs California Helped Me Out And Were Great About Now I Have To Go Out Of My Way For Games But Never Returning To The Monterey Store Again They Need Better Guest Service Skills And Manager Needs To Stop Hiding

We have traveled to many GameStops in my family over many years. This is by far the best GameStop we have ever frequented. Management is excellent and all employees are super helpful. It is obvious when a store is well managed. We have made this store our primary location in the desert.

I went in with a problem with one of my consoles, it kept ejecting disks and Malcolm was super professional, polite and helpful. 5 stars Malcolm.

My son bought a used game for $ 27 yesterday. After looking at the game in store and the other copy we had I was nervous cause it looked rough. Sure enough we get home and it doesn’t work. Took it back to game stop in La Quinta today and told them about it and showed it to them and they said they meaning the mall location shoulda have never sold it to us in the first place because of the damage. I said this was the better looking one of the two. Then they told me for only $ 3 more I could buy black ops in a bundle brand new! Shame on your location. Seriously. Robbing kids!

I love this location, the employees are friendly and are knowledgeable of all the products carried. They go the extra mile by looking up items at other stores if they are out of stock. I was able to call ahead a pick up an item that was the last on the shelf with out any problems.

I workes right next door to Gamestop so on my breaks, I often wandered over there occasionally. The staff are so helpful and friendly. I am especially grateful to Beth for helping me out. She has good customer service skills and I appreciate her helpfulness and awesome personality.

small place but the employees are great always ready to answer any questions you have. they know about every game when it’s coming out, what you get with it, when you can preorder. what I like most is that they don’t pressure you into buying anything.
