I found Melinda through a Groupon as well as some other reviews and I too expected a «basic» color, highlight, and cut and got so much more! It’s sooo hard to find a good hairstylist, I’ve gone through several but Melinda stuck! She’s patient, knowledgeable, listens, and especially creative which I appreciate. If I don’t know what to do to hair, she does and it always works out! I’ve recommended to her to many friends and continue to do so.

I stumbled upon Melinda through a Groupon deal. I was expecting a decent haircut, but what I got was one of the best haircuts ever! I wanted a chiseled bob, and she did exactly what I wanted. It’s the type of haircut where everything falls into place, and it’s been almost two months! I have received so many positive compliments and recently went back for a color. She’s fast and efficient. I need to schedule a new appointment soon.

Melinda is amazing! She did my hair a couple months back and turned it from about a 6 brunette back to my natural blonde color. Her highlighting was perfection and she really does an efficient job in a timely matter. Not to mention she is so sweet and nice! Definitely recommend Melinda for your hair needs. The salon is a little tricky to find if you are not familiar with the desert and their small shops with one way directional streets haha, but call and make an appt immediately!

Melinda was able to accommodate me quickly (within a few days). I had a deal for cut, color and style. However my expectations were low based on past deals of this kind (with different merchants). Melinda did an excellent job. Moreover she was fun to talk with, kind and made certain I had a good experience. I highly recommend!

First time customer and hope to become a long=time client. Melinda is very professional, courteous and personable. Impressed because she was on time for appointment and worked at a fast pace to color and cut my hair. The salon itself is small and cozy and low-key, which I appreciated. I made an appointment for a follow-up in three weeks and will be a steady customer for the three months I’m here in Palm Springs. There are hundreds of other salons closer but I’m glad I found Melinda.

I went in after buying a groupon deal, and I asked for an ombré and showed several photos of what I wanted. I understand lightening your hair is going to damage it, but I now have several patches around my face where my hair is just burned off and is about an inch long. On top of that, the only light part of my hair was my very front bang pieces, there was no ombré the rest of my hair was dark brown. I can back to have her fix it and she did an okay job, however I still have blonde pieces with that «hot» color (very brassy/bright orange), and the whole thing just is not well blended at all. She only lightened my very bottom layers so my medium layers do not blend in with them. I would not recommend, and I will not be going back to even have her fix it again.

My second time getting a hair cut by Melinda, and certainly not my last. She just knows what you want even if you don’t know how to explain it well. Knows my texture and thinning and gave me a hair cut that makes my hair look as thick as it did 20 years ago! She also cut my mother’s hair who was and still is ecstatic about her cut!
