Jimmy John’s

This place was recommended by some friends, so had to try it.
I like the décor, it fits the place… and it is very clean and organized, probably one of the cleanest sandwich shops I have been to.
Customer service is very good, friendly, and I will say the sandwich making process is pretty fast.
The person taking my order recommended adding the spicy peppers, which I agreed to, and it was awesome, it added a good heat level to the sandwich.
As far as the sandwich in general, I was not too impressed.
I would put Jimmy John’s in the same bracket as Jersey Mike’s or Port of Subs, maybe slightly higher level… nothing stood out to me.
After all, they are a sandwich chain.
They also offer a delivery service as well, which could come in handy.
I will be back to try some more.

What’s not to love about this place? Upon entering I was immediately greeted be every employee. The iplace was a little hard to find, but that’s okay because I’ve been taking advantage of their delivery service lately. By the way it’s the fastest delivery service of my life (10 minutes at most). My favorite subs are the #9 Italian night club and #14 bootlegger club. The subs come with mayo lettuce and tomato, but you have to add cherry peppers it’s the way to go! Overall, a great sub especially for someone in a rush because they’re ready by the time you finish paying. I recommend everyone try Jimmy John’s !

Been to several locations and this one twice. The staff here is friendly and helpful. When I visited I had the country club and another similar one I can’t remember. The food is good, the bread, lots of lettuce (which I like), selection of meats and good mayo are what keep me coming back. However in all honesty, it could just be the bread and quick service. I’ll be coming back as I am interested to try other subs out.

Excellent service. We always order for our company and they are always I mean always on time excellent attitudes and wonderful service. I will continue to eat here and let everyone know about jimmy johns.

Went back to this store today & it was the complete opposite that it was before. I was thrilled to see a very polite, professional, & helpful staff. Thank you to the owner for responding to my previous post. I appreciate the acknowledgement of my previous experience, today your staff exceed my expectations.

The location is pretty bad. You can’t even see the store when you enter the parking lot; you have to know where it is to find it. I only noticed it one slow morning on empty streets before anyone woke up while I was headed to the gym. I guess a lot of their business is corporate orders and deliveries, so maybe it’s not so bad for them.
What I didn’t know about Jimmy John’s is that the sandwiches don’t come with condiments. I think mayonnaise was the only condiment standard on my Vito sandwich. If I knew better, I would have ordered it «Jimmy’s way,» or whatever folksy thing they call it.
The ingredients were fresh, and that’s about the extent of it. The prices aren’t exorbitant, but I don’t think the sandwich is worth $ 6. Jensen’s is way better at similar costs.
It’s just a sandwich, not trying to be picky, but it wasn’t enough to make me ever want to come back. Why battle the Whole Foods parking lot when Jersey Mike’s is across the street? Or if you want boring, a $ 6 foot long at Subway a block down.

The delivery service at the Palm Desert location is so quick, you better be ready to eat within 20 minutes after you call.
It’s our new favorite place in town.
They are delivering to our store at Least once if not twice a day to our Hungry employees. The staff when you call 8n & the drivers are all very nice and very polite. 10 +NPS
You can’t go wrong with Jimmy Johns Quality.

I arrived with no other customers in the restaurant. I stood there for at least a minute while two employees sorted out cash without even an acknowledgement I was there. Finally a woman, without looking up from the register, or even making eye contact asked «what I would like.» I ordered and not a word of a response… she was still having a conversation with another employee. I sat down and was not told when the sandwich was ready, a couple minutes later I walked to the rest room and saw it on the counter. The tuna sandwich had no perceivable special sauce and was extremely bland. When leaving, again no acknowledgement or thank you. Probably the worst first impression I have ever had in a business. Don’t understand the good reviews… awful!

It’s all true — fast, fresh, yummy. I’ll just add for the vegetarians that the veggie sub here is good and satisfying, I like to get it on their whole wheat bread.

So I tried out Jimmy Johns in Palm Desert, horrible place the bread was hard to chew holy shit my jaw hurts after that, shitty chip selection, 3 tables, nowhere to sit, no outside seating and nowhere to park all the spots were full from other businesses fuck that place

Best sub ever. Lots of quality meat in this sandwich. Want one of these in my city. Is this a franchise?

The place was easy to find, super clean, and my sandwich really was ready like freaky fast, just like the little stickers say. The staff was attentive, and polite. the meat had just been freshly sliced.
Fresh ingredients, great bread, fast, and friendly attentive staff, and you can’t beat the price! Will absolutely be back for more!

It was a long day at the office and I wanted some food. A great idea came to me, call Jimmy John’s. Order a turkey sandwich to be delivered. It came quick and was just what I wanted. A good addition to Palm Desert.

I am really shocked at the positive reviews. Husband and I had lunch there today. Tuna was supposed to be so delicious. Really? This is probably the most bland tuna sandwich you can imagine. Husband had some sort of special roast beef sub and had the same reaction. And they don’t have salt and pepper. I’m sorry — did I hear you correctly? What place doesn’t have SALT AND PEPPER? This place is not up to local standards. Maybe it’s great in a place that has unseasoned meat and potatoes cuisine. The desert ain’t it.

They just opened yesterday in The Whole Foods Center and since it’s right next door to my mailbox at The UPS Store I decided to give them a try. I’d never been to nor even heard of a Jimmy Johns, but apparently they’re quite popular in other markets. It’s a small, fast food style sandwich place kind of like a subway, but better. All the sandwiches are cold and prepared on their French rolls which are baked on site throughout the day. On the slim sandwich they hollow out the bread and then add the ingredients. The bread is very good, crispy on the outside and super soft on the inside. They also do a bigger sandwich with extra meat and leaving the bread in tact. They also have a special peppers, onions & sauce concoction that they’ll add to any sandwich, I put that on my #1 Pepe sandwich and it was fantastic! This place is not The Real Italian Deli or TKB, but in my opinion it’s the best of the Subway, Togo’s, Jersey Mikes type of establishments. Thank you.

In my opinion, this is the best sub shop around! I’m so glad we finally have one in the desert. They are fast and efficient. The subs are made with high quality ingredients. The decorations are great. There are cool little sayings and «advice» signs all over the walls. The bathroom is clean and super cute! Only complaints is that they aren’t open later, and their delivery area is small. It’d be great if they delivered to EMC.
