We think this is the best thai food for the price in the valley. They have large selection of 9.99 lunch specials which include soup or salad . Décor is nothing fancy and service is «ok» but it’s our choice for great value !

Very overpriced for what it is. They definitely invest more in the ambience than the quality of food. I am used to thai food from hole in the wall places around LA; I prefer authentic food over a fancy dining place any day. The ginger chicken was very soupy and the pad see ew was a little bland. There are definitely other thai places around Palm Desert that have better prices and better flavor.

Had a lovely dinner with a friend and excellent service. My only complaint was the DIY spring rolls. I’d order again in a second but am happy to have them wrapped properly for me.

The food is very good — we love it. The staff are super sweet. BUT when it’s busy the place just falls apart… you’ll wait a long time for your food and sometimes they just forget a part of your order. We keep going back because of the tastiness of the Thai cuisine — it’s worth it.

Cozy atmosphere, good food and ice cold bottle beer. I had pad Thai with shrimp and it was plentiful.

Oh my… we came here for dinner, Kristi was our waitress and Turner was our bus boy… The Chicken satay, pad thai and yellow beef curry were in the top three we’ve ever tasted. The place is quaint, service is excellent and food is amazing. WOW!!! We will definitely be back :-)

Excellent food with excellent service. We spent the weekend in town and by far this is the best restaurant we went too. Will come back soon!

Delicious Thai! I travel a lot for work and order Thai often. This place is on of the best I’ve had on the road! This is what my company ordered: Tom Kha Soup Tom Yum Soup Panang Curry — **Incredible** Pad Thai Orange Chicken Fried Rice The restaurant staff was very accommodating and labeled each item like I requested. This is greatly appreciated since we have a large company team to feed. That fith extra star goes to your service! Thanks!

We went there on a Saturday night and it was really busy. It took them 15 minutes to acknowledge us, and that was only because we finally went over to them and asked if somebody could please visit our table. Rough start on the service side, but the food quality made up for most of that. Going to give them a pass this time since they were really busy, and I would definitely go back for the food.

I happened upon this restaurant the first time quite by accident and it was a pleasant accident. The second time I went with intent to try certain dishes of Thai cuisine that I really enjoy. I tried the Panang curry which was a nice spicy red coconut curry with thyme leaves, bell peppers and shrimp it was excellent. We also had the garlic shrimp which was deep fried and battered and The presentation was amazing. And finally we tried the pad Thai which is always a favorite dish to try however it was not as good as others I have tried. The biggest downfall with this restaurant is the service and ambience but I can overlook those two things when the food is so outstanding. I’ve eaten there twice and I have not had a bad item on the menu. So I would go back again

We came here last minute on a Friday night and we’re glad we called — they gave us a better table for having called ahead. Very gracious folks. We are vegan and enjoyed the Tom Yum soup and Vietnamese spring rolls with a yummy peanut sauce to start, followed by the Asian Eggplant with vegetables and Panang Curry vegetables with both brown and white rice. There was enough leftover for hubby to have for lunch at his meeting tomorrow. All dishes were excellent, the Riesling was nice as well and they have a full bar, although we only had a glass of Riesling. It was full and quite loud, so not good for hard of hearing, and tables are close together but the vibe is good and we enjoyed it.

Had dinner here with my husband. Service was extremely slow(restaurant was practically empty) we ordered a couple of entrees to share. Portion sizes were very small considering the price was not. Noodles were stuck together and the pad Thai was very sweet. Weird waiter stood at the bar staring at us. Creepy. Overall, a waste of $ 70 on uninspired food and atmosphere. Obviously we will not be returning.

Great food, nice staff, quiet restaurant during lunch hour :) Its my first time here with my Fiancé & we both tried the pad thai noodles and the wonton soup. We have tried several thai restaurants and this is definitely one we will return to!

The best Panang Curry! I’ve gone to different Thai places for their Panang Curry but this one beats all of them so far! It’s creamy, just the way I like it and very flavorful. Next time I drop by, will be bringing the whole fam! And thanks for the great service today! :)

Came here after arriving to Palm Spring for a family weekend getaway. I Unilocaled this restaurant and didn’t know what to expect. They seem to have regular retired customers. They look like they built quite a relationship with them. The service was on the slow end. We ordered Pad Thai, pad see ew, Tom yum soup, and stir fry Shrimp with eggplant. Most of the dishes were tasty but a bit sweet. The prices were steep but it’s dinner and you are miles away from Thai Town. Overall, we enjoyed our dinner. Location was also nice and in a plaza.

Sometimes it’s soup and salad that satisfies the palate. The lettuce was fresh and crispy without bruising just how I like it. The soup temperature was nice and hot not crap warm. Right amount of chicken and mushrooms.

I decided to stop by to get lunch while visiting a friend. I was craving pad kee mao, BUT they don’t make that here!!! So I went with plan B and ordered the Pad Thai on their lunch menu. I ordered mine Thai Hot. While I was waiting for my meal to come out, I saw the waiter bring out the Orange Chicken for the table next to us. Boy, it smelled good. Haha. I might order that the next time I’m visiting. My Pad Thai actually came out the way i ordered, Thai hot, but I could of done with just a bit more spice. It’s not often I find a thai place that meets my expectations. However, I understand that thai restaurants are hessitant when people order their food thai hot because majority can’t hang and won’t be able to enjoy their food. But Le Basil, you still deserve a thumbs for spice. Flavors are decent, good enough for me to return. The service was great & food portions are good. I’m still sad they don’t make pad kee mao but I will live. Until next time Le Basil!

I had the Pad Thai, and it was good however my husband’s BBQ Pork was killer! We paired out lunches with fresh young coconuts. Perfect out here in the desert! So refreshing after a long day baking in the sun. Lunch is served until 3pm and the patio looks closed for the summer. Lots of awards on the walls. Enjoy!

Wow, this place knocked my socks off. So tasty! I tried«Bun» with grilled shrimp. It’s my new favorite! My bfriend had fried rice served in a half pineapple with chicken and shrimp. He devoured all of it We also shared a hot pot of crab and asparagus soup. Very good! And the ice tea was bomb… will make this place a regular spot.

Like a Viet/Thai place. I ordered the eggplant basil chicken something… it was good and I liked the way the eggplant was cooked. I usually like the eggplant cooked well, where it’s super soft. Just right. Sauce was good. No complaints. Friends ordered phở. Service was quick. Also because we were the only ones there. When I’m in the area, I’ll come back. Good stuff.
