Beer and sangria while shopping, what a treat!
I’ve never been to a Rubio’s. This Rubio’s is located in the food court at the Westfield Shopping Center.
While at the mall shopping with family, the little ones needed a snack, so we stopped here for one order of three grilled chicken street tacos. These tacos are definitely snack-​size and topped with a small portion of guacamole, cilantro and onion. There was a scoop of refried beans, a few chips on the side of the plate and two small salsa cups. The size is small, so it is perfect for kids. We planned to eat later, so decided not to eat, but did taste the chicken and it was fine. My husband also got a beer for himself and a sangria for me.
Staff was friendly. There was a little wait for the order to be ready, but it wasn’t a long wait. My husband was happy that he didn’t have to wait at all for his beer — he got that right away.
So, the next time I need my husband to go to the mall with me, I can bribe him with a beer at Rubio’s.

Here in Palm Springs for a work conference and was told by a trusted source that this place has the best fish tacos… and trusted sourced, you were right on!
Our party of 3 got the original fish taco, taco especially and chicken nachos. The batter on the fish was the most memorable as it was tasty and crunchy but not oily. Along with your own choices of salsa and other toppings… It was just delicious. The guacamole was also fresh. All for a reasonable price.
This is a fast food joint, but it was clean and the service was acceptable. Will definitely come back for more yummy tacos.

If you are in Westfiled Palm Desert Mall Rubio’s is your best bet!
Try a delicious shrimp burrito w/​Modello Especial or Grande grilled steak bowl. It takes a little bit longer to get your food, so if you are really in rush try the Panda Express next door.

Very clean establishment inside Westfield’s Palm Desert Mall in Palm Springs. Service at the register was fast. Allowed me to customize my entrée, which is a plus. The shift leader needs to get a Bluetooth though. After he took my order, which was priced reasonably, he walked around the cooking area like he was inspecting the preparers, while chatting on his cell phone. Big No-​No.

OK Mexican food. We usually get quesadillas and fish tacos here, but everything is fresh and fairly tasty. A little expensive compared to some other places though.

Consistant Mall food. Can’t go wrong. Refillable drinks, love it.

These guys «invented» the Fish Taco. Other than the delicious Fish Tacos… they need to improve their side portions. Any place that charges you extra for chips and salsa is clearly NOT Mexican…

Located in the Food Court on the second level of the Westfield Mall. Typical Rubio’s here, with a self-​serve soda dispenser. I usually get two fish tacos. So if you go to other places in the Food Court like Panda Express, order your soda from here at Rubio’s so you can get refills. Lots of tables to sit at in the food court, same old Westfield mall type trays and set-​up.
