Ehh, this last time was underwhelming. Curries seem more bland. The buffet wasn’t being replenished often enough and things kept running out for extended periods of time. Naan got cold, too. Still has very friendly staff though.

The lunchtime buffet is not the most inviting, the food is ok but not great, the restaurant is a comfortable enough place, staff are friendly, but there is just something lacking with the food for me, there are better alternatives out there. I do have friends that really like the place however, so give it a try and decide for yourself.

Tried this place since we were in tarpon springs for holidays. Since the first look at the buffet items didnt seem interesting, we placed order for few items. The servers were good and received us well. But, the food was really bad. Avoid this place.

Food itself is really good. However, their waiters have not been really productive, slow, keep forgetting to pour water and they look so tired. But food is so good, it is worth it.

Went for the buffet and I was not impressed. The butter chicken was very runny and tasteless. It’s almost seemed like they’ve had the butter chicken on the buffet line for a few days. Not good!

My husband and I are new to the area and were craving Indian food. Bawarchi totally hit the spot! We ordered dinner to-go and had an absolutely delicious meal. Dishes were perfectly spicy, nothing was oily and while we ordered enough for leftovers, we couldn’t stop eating! The Chicken Tikka and Bengan Barta were perfect. And the keema naan(which many restaurants don’t have) was great. Very nice to have a tasty, local Indian restaurant!

We used to visit a couple of times a month for the Tuesday night vegetarian buffet. The past 3 – 4 times we went, the buffet was half empty and was never refilled. We also had to flag our server down every time we needed drink refills. Love the food there, but will not revisit due to poor service. If they are under new management, I’d suggest they step it up so they don’t lose anymore customers.

Honestly, we used to come here so often and for years we’ve been going. I read apparently they’ve changed ownership or something but it really shows. The food used to be amazing but now it’s crazy. The waiters are completely disconnected from the customers. Not sure what happened, but I’m sad that it did.

Unfortunately my friends this place is going down fast! It used to be one of the premier Indian restaurants in Pinellas county but they changed owners and the service is her Renda’s and the food is certainly lacking. Do yourself a favor and either skip this place or lower your expectations

Ordered the Chicken Vindaloo(medium spice) and Garlic Naan. Nicely hot, very good flavor. Excellent service. Will try the buffet next time!

I am sorry, but this Indian Buffet was just not good. I may be a snob as I have eaten at various indian restaurants across the world, but I would avoid the Buffet. Perhaps off the menu would be better.

I have been looking forward to trying the lunch buffet for quite some time. Finally, got a chance and was mildly disappointed. The selection was limited on the buffet. A large portion was a spread of salad vegetables, lettuce, carrots, cucumber, tomato. The actual Indian food was ok. I was really disappointed they didn’t have any samosas. My kids ordered the garlic naan off the menu and really enjoyed it. My craving was satisified, but I think I’ll try another place next time.

Went for the lunch buffet on Thursday. .Have been there several times. The butter chicken is delicious. .Would have given 5 stars but had to wait until the end of the meal for the naan. …Also need to have bigger and more napkins on tables..

it was good not great. would get an extra star for better selection, maybe im just a noob to Indian Buffets but there wasnt much. i had some things that were good and some that were just Meh. the desert rice could have been better. id say 70% of their dishes could use more punch. maybe they are just playing it safe for the snowbirds…

Went for the the lunch buffet today for the 1st time. They had a decent selection of vegetarian and chicken dishes. Some were really good… others okay. The rice and naan were also pretty good. But you got all of it for $ 9.99. Definitely worth it.

One thing that may set Bawachi apart from other Indian restaurants and bumped it’s eating up to 4 stars is the larger size portions you get. Their garlic naan bread is yummy but would say their other breads are just okay.

A-OK lunch buffet sometimes. The service is awesome The food is inconsistent. Sometimes its really good and deserves a higher rating Other times it’s greasy, gross and I wonder why I come here.

I’ve officially broken up with Bawarchi. 2 stinker lunch buffets and I’m out. It was fun while it lasted! The server that is always working is SONICE and does a GREATJOB — I hope they appreciate him!
