Corey’s Bakery & Catering

My fiancé and I attended a tasting with Chef Corey recently, and it was wonderful! We both agreed the Caribbean Cooler was our favorite, it was very original and tasted like key lime! We had a hard time narrowing down which flavors to choose for our 5 tier wedding cake, I am excited to our guests to be treated to our wedding cake!

August 2015: Very pleased with our experience meeting Corey and tasting his cakes. I took a gamble on this business because of the location of the store in relation to our venue and even where we live, but I’m SO GLAD I decided to check out Corey’s Bakery & Catering anyway. What drew me in was the unique list of flavors Corey has to offer on his website. He has some of the most unique flavors I have ever seen. Corey accommodated my very inflexible schedule and still managed to whip up a very professional, yet fun, tasting appointment and consultation. The first thing that grabbed our attention (besides the list of flavors), is the fact that everything Corey uses is all natural. He even makes his own vanilla extract! How’s that for dedication to quality? The cakes he makes are amazing. So flavorful and definitely unique — they don’t even need filling… you won’t even find a list of fillings on his menu. Our biggest issue was trying to narrow down what flavors we wanted to use for our cake — so many to choose from that were all SO YUMMY! This was our first cake tasting and I knew we didn’t need to go anywhere else. Corey is passionate about his work and we are so excited about working with him. We can’t wait to see what he comes up with for our design too, as his cakes look just a wonderful as they taste!
UPDATE: March, 2016: our cake was one of the only highlights of our reception. Truely saved the day after lousy food and a bad DJ. Our cake was gorgeous too. We left the entire design to Coreys discression, and it tasted phenomenal. Our guests couldn’t compliment it enough. The unique flavors blew them away. I finally got to eat some leftovers last night. Still as moist and amazing as it was three days ago! I wish I could give Corey and his blossoming business 10 stars!

We had our wedding on Honeymoon Island 3÷12÷15. Corey made our cake and it was amazing!!! Everything that he bakes is mouth-​watering and original. The design of the cake was also very beautiful! Thank you Corey for making our night that much «sweeter»!

I really can’t thank him enough. The cake that he made was more than I ever could have wished for, he really gave me better than I could have imagined for myself, it took his eye and hands to make something truly magical. I will never be able to remember my wedding day without remembering that cake and the beautiful man who created it for me. I want everyone to know that he is an artist, a genius, a consummate professional and damn if that cake wasn’t as delicious as it was gorgeous! Corey took my limited vision and expanded it into a thing of beauty. Not only is he the sweetest person on Earth anyone considering him for their cake would be hard pressed to find ANYONE and I do mean AN EE ONE better than this man. He’s brilliant, his cakes are as beautiful as his heart.
