My mom moved in there about a month ago. It is an amazing place! The staff is very friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to remember everyone’s name. The food is very good. Her apartment is awesome, with a great view of the water. I recommend Stratford Court to anyone that is looking for a place for a loved one.

This review may get updated after my Gmom has been here more than a few hours. What I can tell you, is that Christine in the Rehab side of the place is an awesome patient/family liaison. She called back promptly when we left a message requesting a tour and if there was space available SAMEDAY. She gave us a great tour of the rehab-gym and intro’ed us to Caesar who manages it. We saw the dining room and the movie room, and then she showed us what was going to be Gmom’s room. It’s «adorable» if you can call a room with a hospital bed in it that. Room has it’s own«full bath» with an almost roll-in shower, closet, dresser and two night stands. Two guest chairs were also in the room, and Christine offered to bring in an extra one for us. Before we had even left the hospital, Christine had also called me for Gmom’s dinner request(salmon, BBQ brisket or a sandwich). She went with a basic sandwich, but the kitchen also added a lovely fruit plate. They also offered us a beverage while we were there — and the coffee ain’t half bad.(I tend to drink espresso/mochas and over-roasted Starbucks… this was definately lighter than that in roast.) Things of note about their admission process: they weigh patients so that they can track health/eating(don’t lose too much/gain too much), take all vitals, and inventory any bumps/bruises so that they can watch for them to heal as well incase of new ones. We(mom, sis and I) were quite impressed with the attentiveness of the staff to all the other patients in residence both during our tour as well as later when Gmom was moving in. So for Rehab to be able to return back to Indep. Living(or Assist. Living)…I’m thinking that we made a good choice. Oh, and speaking of returning to the patient’s previous residence — they throw a mini celebration with balloons, a t-shirt and photos for their«graduation» back to IL/AL.
