Yogurt Island

Finally, a great froyo place in Palm Harbor! This place is awesome for many reasons:
1. The froyo flavors are on point! They have a large variety, and they are all delicious!
2. The toppings are always fresh.
3. The rewards program is done through your phone number not an annoying punch card and you get coupons via text ALL the time!
4. They offer a discount to LA Fitness members (just show them your keychain)
5. They are super friendly
6. They are open late!!! This is huge :)
Overall, the BEST froyo place in the area! Hands down!

Under new management and this place is even better than before! Awesome service, delicious frozen yogurt, tons of toppings, and nice clean seating areas. Highly recommend!

stopped by here for yogurt after the beach. i asked for the tart flavor i like. the man there told me that he had it in the back. i said okay. got home and it was as hard as a rock. i let it sit for 20 min and it was icy and salty. i wasn’t going to waste my $ 8 so i drove back there. there was a note on the door saying be back in 5. i waited 10 minutes. he finally returned. i showed him the yogurt and i said it didn’t taste right. well, he got VERY defensive with me. he gave me every excuse in the book for why the yogurt tasted that way. he said people eat it all the time. well, if they ate it all the time it wouldn’t be sitting in the back freezer pre-​cupped. he argued with me for 5 minutes and told me there was no «returns.» I asked for a manager he said there wasn’t one. I stood there and complained for another 5 minutes before he threw a small yogurt cup at me (mind you i got the larger cup in the first place, took the time and energy to drive back, argued with this guy, and only got a small yogurt in the end). besides the bullsh*t, the vanilla yogurt i got with the smaller cup was good. i’ll probably never return to this location though, simply because there was NO proper customer service. *steer clear of the young asian guy*

So far this is my favorite frozen yogurt place around. I would say its «cheap» necessarily but it’s not bad for these new wave of serve yourself places. They’ve got several varieties on tap and the toppings are tasty. Be careful not to go overboard filling those generously sized cups lol. Pop one of those loaded onto their scale and you can easily top $ 7-​$ 8 bucks for your frozen treat! Be sure to get one of their punch out cards if you’re popping in and out on any kind of regular basis as you’ll earn a freebie.

This place is cheap and convenient. I love being able to help myself with my yogurt and toppings. Not to mention their Nutella frozen yogurt which is to die for! Yogurt Island is a great place to go out with friends and chat.

My husband and 2 of my children visited just before Christmas. The establishment was clean and well lit. The flavors were fun although we were surprise the plain yogurt was not a variety. My husband was thrilled they had Nutella and also pumpkin. The pumpkin was spot on. The prices are comparable to the other yogurt places. We did have a coupon. We received a little gift [trinket] for making a purchase over $ 8.00.
We will go there again with all of our kids. I do wish there was a little more seating inside.

Places bright clean and friendly decent selection of toppings and yogurt

I am happy a yogurt place opened up close to home. I am a fan of the cookies and cream yogurt with some mashed up Oreo’s mixed in. Some of the other flavors just taste to fake and maybe artificially sweetened. Cinnamon bun, Yuck!
Anyway if you are looking for something sweet and want to pretend that it is healthy for you this is a good spot.
Every time I visit the store the floors are clean and the staff is polite.

The yogurt is great, along with all of the stuff to put on it. The one asian lady is quite rude though, i had my card they stamped with each purchase, filled out for $ 5 off and she didnt want to let me use it because the remander balance was 24 cents. I dont know if i had to be under $ 5 or over, but i had a c. c on me and offered to pay the 24 cents and she got mad swooshed me away with her hands and just said take it and leave. I was very confused, even though my gym is in the same plaza and this is my cool down at times, i will be making the extra mile trip to the FRO YO PLACE NEXT TO THE TARGET IN BOOTRANCH PLAZA off tampa road and eastlake.

Awesome selection of yogurt; they even have sorbet! Great selection of toppings as well. Also great that they’re open late, because I usually want fro-​yo after every other store is closed.

Yogurt Island is, by far, best fresh yogurt establishment in the area. I have eaten at other ‘places,’ and they don’t compare to the freshness and quality of the flavor of the yogurt. They have new flavors all the time… right now, it’s summer, so ‘orange’ and ‘watermelon’ are it, and boy are they de-​lish! They also have a wide variety of
‘fresh’ cut fruits, nuts, chocolate and Ghiardelli syrups to top your favorite flavor.
