CM Engravers

I went To C.M. Engravers for name tags and was very pleased with their work that I came back and got my dog’s name tag custom made and phone case also custom made there. The quality of work has been outstanding everytime.

2 months before my wedding, I brought in 4 knives to get engraved for my boys. When I came to pick them up week later. Carlos decided to change the font and location of the names. He did what he thought looked better, but didn’t call to ask. Engraving was off center and font didn’t match the engraving on the blade. We tried to re order the knives but they were no longer available. I had to search for new set of knives that the handle could be engraved on. After I found something, Carlos ordered them. Month went by and it was almost time for my wedding when I called or emailed to see where my knives were. Just to find out they were on their way and should be here end of this week and I can pick them up next week. For F… sake! you’re just doing their initials now and does it really take that long to set up the machine? Anyways. I emailed him couple days prior before picking up the knives and I asked to have my new and old set ready when I get there. Never heard back. When I got there, I was told he kept my knives or did something with them and they were no longer around. WTF?! BY now I was over it. I didn’t have to pay for the engaging (initials only now, instead of the guys names and ‘The Best Man’)
Over all a bad experience. I guess I will say he tried, but at the same time I feel it was half effort as it took months and I feel he took my property. I picked up my new knives couple days before the wedding and ended up giving my groomsmen a gift I didn’t like.
