Nicki A’s Salon

Just got back from my first haircut from Nicki and WOW I LOVE IT! Ive been going to the same hairstylist for as long as I can remember but my recent relocation to palm springs forced me to find someone new. She made sure I was comfortable with everything she was doing before I did it and asked many questions about how I wanted my hair in order to get a good understanding of what I was looking for. In the end she nailed what I wanted just right! not to mention she is also one of the friendliest and easy to talk to person. THANK YOU NICKI! I will be a repeat customer for sure.

Nicki is friendly, warm, personable and a consummate professional. She will advise you in YOUR own best interest, not her own or her bottom line. She will take the time to get to know you and figure out what will be the best solution for you. I also watched her interact with other customers, including kids – very kind and everyone left happy. Fabulous experience and highly recommended!!!

Nicki A’s Salon is FANTASTIC! The entire team is friendly and highly knowledgeable of their craft. Nicki believes in educating her client about their hair, and I, personally, came out with a whole new understanding of my cut, color, and hair type. Nicki is AMAZING! I am so glad I found this place. nickis salon is super cute and located right across the street from the village pub. I had my hair done by nicki herself and was tottally freaking impressed she made my hair super blonde and was able to help fix what damage other hairstylist had done. She is a color mastermind lol and my hair has never been blonder wich makes me tottally happy! i would definetley reccomend her .the salon does mani pedis too which i will be going back for soon!

I like to frequent different salons for pedicures and blowouts when I go on vacations. It’s my way of supporting local businesses and getting pampered at the same time. :)
I found Nicki A’s after wandering ALL OVER town on a Monday looking for a place to get a pedicure that didn’t look shady but was also open (not many salons open on a Monday). I got lucky with this place– I was able to be seated right away (though I understand it’s pretty busy at other times which is good news) and the pedicurist was so sweet! I believe I was also talking to Nicki (I know she was the owner) and the two of them were so friendly with me. They both chatted with me and I really appreciated that … sometimes it can be awkward when salons assume you DON’T want to talk at all. I don’t mind talking, and especially when it’s a slow Monday morning! :) The salon is cute and bright, and my pedicure was great. Man, she scrubbed the crap outta my legs and I LOVED IT!!! They felt amazing afterwards.
I highly recommend this place to locals and vacationers. They’re friendly and attentive, and I love supporting small businesses!

On vaca from Seattle & impulsively decided I needed a haircut on VillageFest nite. I Googled & looked at a few other salons in person before coming across Nicki A’s as it was appealing to me. I like professional, not pretentious, staff & Nicki A’s filled the bill. Welcoming, knowledgeable Nicole took me in w/​o an appt & she cut my hair making it go from drab to FAB! She did wonders with my straight, fine hair. I also enjoyed her courteous, friendly staff immensely. I wish I could take them back home when I leave! Need a new ‘do? Don’t hesitate — GO!

I am only in town for a week, but was looking forward to a day of pampering since it’s hard to find that time at home. I did a quick search here and found Nicki A’s salon. I am so happy that I called and got an appointment. Nicki is probably one of the only hair stylists that I’ve ever gone to that actually sat down and listened to what I wanted done and then actually made it look as I had hoped. I love how my hair turned out. She did an incredible job! The salon is quaint and has a great atmosphere. It was good to know that it was at the back of the Vineyard mall. While I was there I also got a mani pedi. I had a fun time talking with Samantha, who is obviously passionate about what she does and has fun with different styles and funky nail art. Nicki was great to talk with while she did my hair and made me feel as though I had been there a dozen times before. I definitely cannot say enough positive things about my experience with the salon and the results that I get to show off now. If you’re looking for something because you’re in town for a few days or looking for a change of stylists, I would highly recommend you stop in and see Nicki.

Nicki A’s is a gem in the desert. Although behind the main shopping street of palm canyon it is well work going of the beaten path. Nicki’s friendliness and warmth immediately greets you. Her ability to do what you visualize with you hair is refreshingly great. It’s rare to find a salon where you feel at home and walk out immediately planning your return. She is talented and overall just great. Get in there, you will never want to get your hair done anywhere else.

New in town, I went to Unilocal (natch) & found Nicki A’s Salon (not easy, as it’s hidden in the rear of The Vineyard, but so worth the hunt!)
Nicki greeted me & immediately made me feel comfortable. She listened to my ideas for a cut, made a color suggestion and off she went to create a wonderful look that completely suits my face & lifestyle!
Not only that, but I feel like I made a new friend in my new town– thanks Nicki!
