The UPS Store

If I could leave no stars I would! I just moved to the area from boynton– when I walked in the lady behind the counter was finishing up with another person so I waited at the counter. Mind you she never greeted me not once the whole time. When she was finished with the customer she was helping she didn’t even look at me– now I am the only one in the store. Since she didn’t acknowledge me. Me being me. I let out a big HI! She just looked at me. Didn’t say anything. So I said can I please have a 14×14 she walked to the back. Again not a single word! Came back with a flat box. I started to put it together– and asked for her help. She told me «it folds» at this point I have had enough. I simply said, you know what? Let me just pay for this. And I’ll go somewhere else. I’m glad I did! My package was over $ 40 to ship, I went back to my old UPS store on gateway & 95 where they are always so nice!!! So– if you can do the drive. I would definitely go to the ups store on gateway!!! Never will I ever go back here!!! So rude!

Rude rude rude! First, I attempted to pay with a credit card and the man at the desk told me cash only with no explanation (sorry I wasn’t spending 5 dollars). 2^nd when he took my packing slip and package, and clear weather protecting sheet he tossed them on the counter untapped on. When I requested that the label be placed on the package before I leave he tossed them back to me. I don’t mind doing it but some type of verbal communication would be nice. He was rude to me and the others in the store

I wouldn’t say 1 star since they did get the job done, but yeah, really unfriendly! I went in and said «hello» and the clerk looked up at me and then looked away without a smile or word. UPS is usually better than that! There was no «thank you» at the end either. Kind of like it was a government office or something. Weird!

I have lived in the area for over 30 years. When I have to return a package I have used this location because it is close to my house. When you enter you are never greeted or even spoken to by the employees here. On my last visit, a woman asked an attendant there if they shipped to Haiti, to which she replied, «Oh yes», (and gave her a big smile) «we are all from Haiti at this store.» So if you, just so happen to be «from» America, don’t expect to find friendly service at this store. Try to find another location where your business will be welcomed and someone will great you when you bring in your business. UPS Corporate Office doesn’t seem to think they have any problem with their employees at this location, but I beg to differ… and that’s why I decided to take my businesss to the Fedex distribution office location in Lake Worth, where I am always treated with respect by employees who appear to appreciate my business, even when I don’t ship to Haiti. It makes a big difference to me! THANKYOU FedEx !!
