AC Garage Doors

Brent from A-​C came out this morning and completed the repair (broken spring). He was in and out in 30 min. and cleaned up his work trash, I was very happy with their services…

Very satisfied with the work they did. Called for a quote, they came out in a few hours and told me it was 499 to replace my garage door, which I was expecting to pay close to 800 for. They scheduled a date and time about 10 days later to do the job. They called a few days later and asked if they could come earlier to do it, which was fine with me. They came and took my old garage door and put a new one in with weather striping all in about an hour. Looks great, works great, paid 499 out the door, I have no complaints with them and would use them again if I had the choice.

RUN AWAY FAST $ 425 to replace springs on garage when they will install the whole garage door with springs for $ 499. Customer Service is lacking.

I used this company about two years ago to replace a garage door and could not believe how rude the service tech who came to do the job was. he came to my house at the end of the 8 – 2 window, right at 2:00. he arrived and immediately started throwing his attitude around and demanding that items no where near my garage door be moved so he could have MORE work space. After this diva routine was over then the know it all attitude came on strong and he basically said i was putting myself in harms way by not replacing my other door due to its age. after all was said and done the door came out ok however the new tracks that were installed for the door to travel up were not hung level so cosmetically it looks quickly done. after much hesitation i called this company to do another door for me and this time they didnt even bother showing up at all during the «window» 10 – 2. and called the day after trying to fit me into another days schedule. obviously i chose to use another service because if you are like me your time is very valuable and should be treated that way. also they were $ 159 HIGHER than the local company i ended up contracting to do the work. There are a lot of companys out there that do this type of work, my suggestion is to call anyone but A-​C overhead door co.

A spring on my garage door broke and I needed to have it replaced. Luckily it was covered under my existing home warranty and this was the business they referred me to. This business is actually located in Palmdale but services the Bakersfield area. I was able to get them to come by the next day which was great. It took them about 20 minutes to complete the repair and test their work. The serviceman was very friendly and answered all my questions. I would definitely use this company again if I needed repair done to my garage door components/​system.

I’m an investor and decided to flip a house in Lancaster, and looked online for a garage door company as the old door on this house I was flipping was the traditional old wooden door. the Owner of AC Overhead came on time, showed me exactly why there needed to be additional work as the home was built in the 50s and thus needed some 2x4s added along the sides. The estimate was fair, the delivery was one day earlier and the color was great. I would recommend them if you want good service and quick turnaround.
