Country Cafe

We love this place! We have so much fun with the staff. Our food is always so yummy. It isnt the fastest place in town, but fast is over rated. Such good home cooking. We love it to pieces.

My husband and I have had breakfast here on numerous occasions… with this Saturday being our last. We walked in the place and all tables were dirty… we proceeded to sit at a table with dirty glasses still on the table. Out server came to ask us if we wanted drinks… duh. she didnt even notice that dirty glasses. The servers are so inexperienced it was pathetic. This place has gone from okay to awful. My husbands Denver omlete was half the size of previous omletes. There were outside tables stored in a corner of the restaurant and restaurant sign. The owner looks so stressed out… maybe this business is not her cup of tea! Patrons beware «stay away from this dive».

My family and I believe in supporting the local establishments in Palmdale and one of our favorite places to eat breakfast «WAS» Country Café. When the restaurant went under new ownership the service and quality of food went downhill. We have continued to give them a chance and continued eating here until our last visit on 12÷7÷13. The meal portion decreased by about 30% and the cost stayed the same. The service sucked at best. I was overcharged on my credit card by a large amount and I contacted the owner to rectify the situation. To no avail she has not called me back so I had no choice but to dispute the charge. I’m driving to Crazy Otto’s in Lancaster to enjoy our breakfast from now on.

It attempt to help local businesses, my family and I like to give small businesses a chance. I love that they give kids free food, but this place is always «out of food». Our last visit, the waitress coughed in her hand then proceeded serving food! It’s not that hard to be sanitary, These days it’s too risky not to be cautious.

Saturday Dec 14^th 10 am worse service every for a place with no customers. Cold food, no coffee refills, waitress completely clueless. Couldn’t manage to get meals to table at same time. Everyone there should be fired. And the place is under new ownership.

First time here and it was ok. I had their menudo and it was all just the water. I’ve had better. Service was great, although the poor girl seemed nervous, but still very polite. The kids enjoyed their breakfast.

The food is good but the new owner is so mean and condescending to her staff. It’s actually very uncomfortable and awkward. I like the food, the portions are huge.

This place has really bad service waited for our breakfast close to 28 minutes and it wasn’t busy to take that long. Food has no flavor, they need a new toaster cause it doesn’t toast the bread. The waitress brought the so called toast 15 mins before the food was brought to the table. When the owner came to our table to ask how everything was, I told her the service was horrible and she asked why are u saying that, we told her we have been waiting quite sometime for our food, so she called the waitress over and asked what time we arrived, waitress said she didn’t write the time down, supposedly they right the time u arrive on the ticket order (whatever) and then the owner proceeded to tell her in front of us not to worry about. I then told the owner that this was the first and last time that we would take our business there. She did not even try to apologize for the horrible service they offer. Not only that, the young girl (might be related to owner… she wasn’t our waitress) had an attitude after we complained. We were not the only ones waiting for our food, a couple next to us said they had been waiting about 15 mins before they got there drinks. We like supporting local businesses, but we would rather give the business to Denny’s than this place.

If you’re looking for ambiance and upper-​crust atmosphere, this is not the place for you. If you’re looking for a simple restaurant with good food at reasonable prices, this is it. Really great breakfasts, including good pancakes, waffles, and omelets. They also have really good burgers, and their Monte Cristo is surprisingly good. I gave them 4 stars because I don’t like their biscuits, and I’m a biscuit person, but everything else that I’ve tried is very good. Very friendly staff. Also, fresh pies are excellent, especially peach.

So ive never tried a patty melt here. However for anyone who has ever drooled over the burgers shown on the tv show «man vs. food» must try this lil mom and pop shops burger. They are giant, juicy and delicious. Yummy.

Greasy, flavorless food! Just because it’s deep fried doesn’t mean it tastes good. My patty melt was disgusting. The cheese was this white American cheese that looked like oozing mayo. The turkey patty was a rubbery hockey puck. The only good things were the ranch dressing and the gravy. But why eat somewhere if you have to disguise the flavor of food with condiments?
Sorry guys, I’d go Denny’s over you.
