Mi Ranchito

So I usually like this place but maybe they have a new cook as the onions and cilantro out weighed the carnitas. The carnitas were bland and just down right terrible. Now I know Saturday nights are not the night to go to this place as the cooks simply don’t care.

When it first opened the seafood was fresh and delicious. Now you wonder the freshness, the staff is no longer as friendly and they don’t seem to keep it very clean. I go there if I really really am craving shrimp tostadas but that’s about it.

3^rd best Mi Ranchito location. Customer service is enh, something is always off with my order, and parking could be better.

I like this one better than the one on the west side. When you walk in you can smell the good food theyre cooking .It clean and the staff is friendly

Mi Ranchito was good about 10 years ago. When I moved here to the AV they were the best. With their expansions came a bigt hit on their quality in my opinion. There are way to many good Mexican restaurants out here now which revealed what a truly mediocre place this is. Sad part is, they’re not even trying anymore. Any pork plate you ordere will taste like 3 day old reheated meat. They put rice on everything. Im surprised they haven’t started putting rice in their tacos at this point. Carne asada is a joke. Try Guadalajara Tacos for the best asada tacos. The only (very) good plate is the Menudo. Everything else is sadly no good.

I ordered the menudo with corn tortillas and horchata. The best horchata I had in years. Living in Tucson, Arizona made me miss out on the great Mexican food in California. Horchata I used to have in Arizona was powdery and watery. The Horchata I had at Mi Ranchito was creamy and tasty. I will definitely go back there again for Horchata.
They have a drive through window for your take out.

Terrible! The burritos are skimpy. The cashier forgot to add a drink. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone or at least this location. Their restaurant was infested with flies! So uncomfortable and they had not high chairs for infants.

My friends just Hand dinner here last night at this restaurant and guess what was inside their meal a rattail they had to be treated at the emergency room at Palmdale hospital emergency room and they’re on severe anti-​diarrhea medication to help them with their stomach pain and they’re being hospitalized due to food poisoning from eating a rat tail and here is the pictures bad review!!! no more.

I do not recommend this place, the food is definitely weird, tastes like it was in a refigerator and heated in a microwave. Just a simple quesadilla seemed like it was made by a special needs child. If you want authentic mexican food go to Azteca Restaurant (10^th West & Palmdale Blvd.) They even got beer there.

Except for the constant dirty tables (I have probably seen them clean twice) this place is awesome!
The food is good. I buy my fruits and vegtables at Trader Joe’s but from time ti time I do buy Mangos at this establishment. They are bomb! They are huge and sweet and when you catch their Mango sale… I throw a dozen in my basket. This store gets busy, especially on the weekends so I totally understand that it would be difficult to keep up with the tables. But they should have someone just run a rag over them. Other than this issue… if you don’t have much income… you will find very affordable fruit and vegtables at this store. Great Mexican food. And HUGE lines on Saturday and Sunday. I easily rate this establishment an A with FIVE stars.

Best fast food mexican food in town, yummy green sauce and delicious food. The only complaint is that they start closing an hour before and when u walk in within that hour they give u looks like you are not wanted. They should treat people the same until they close.

Rude ass people that work there and even nastier mexican food. I go there to order and right away get an attitude and I could barely understand her. Will never be going back to that rat hole. Disgusting !!!

This place is a disgusting place to eat I ate there last Thursday and got a wet burrito and since Friday I’ve had food poisoning never have I experienced this with any other food place and to think of the flies I see flying around the place I could imagine it to get on the food I hope the health inspectors show up without notifying them to show that this restaurant isn’t meeting the requirements to make sure we’re served clean food the workers seem careless I wish I could give this place 0 stars!!!

My mom lives in the desert and everytime I drive through palmdale/​lancaster I have to stop at these locations.
My favorite: The cold aguas aka the juice drinks. Melon & Watermelon are my personal favs.
Food: Tacos all day everyday. I hate onions on my taco so if you don’t like them either make sure you tell the person taking your order. Tacos de asada & Al Pastor. OH MY GOODNESS!!!

Stupid iPad navigation sent me to the wrong El Ranchito. I believe the one I have been to and love is on Ave I. The orange agua fresca refreshes my soul.
This version of the chain gets my Triple D rating. Disgusting, Dirty and Dreary.
I placed an order for a wet bean burrito, chips and salsa two drinks and flautas with no sour cream or guacamole.
The employee processed my card for approximately $ 14 handed my partner a drink and I waited uncomfortably and then asked can I have my tea? She said «You did not order a drink. She obviously did not remember all the back and forth between aqua fresca flavors, my request for unsweetened tea and then settling for raspberry tea.
So then my order comes up, flautas plate has sour cream and guacamole on top of the flautas, beans and rice. I make the employee aware of my request and he tells me «it will be a few minutes», so I take the wet burrito and ask for my chips, he states «There are no chips on your order».
This was the point where I felt like requesting a refund and walking out, but decided to buy my chips and drink and wait.
Meanwhile my partner comes from the bathroom and states that the toilet is overflowing with feces and a man was peeing in the sink.
As I begin to take note of my surroundings there is trash on the ground, tables are not clean but there is a broom and dustpan sitting against a table. Does this mean patrons are supposed to clean up after themselves? Even the TV is just displaying a DISH menu. That alone tells me how poorly managed this restaurant is.
El Ranchito, your chain has promise. Clean up or close this location and please don’t let this spread to your other stores.

I am very particular about my burritos. This place has a simple burrito call the combination burrito. Its just meet rice and beans hot sauce and pico de Gayo. Very simple but lots of flavor. Hardly any lines cuz this place has everything waiting for you and they are ready to go. If you eat inside there is not much space for seating customers, and the loss of one star. This is a chain of restaurants but this one is a little different. It’s not as fancy but the food quality is excellent. This is Steve just signing off.

The best Chilaquiles I’ve ever had in my life (I’ve had them homemade before). Even better, the mostly Spanish speaking staff members don’t cringe when I pronounce my orders like a typical white girl (I’m part Mexican and I can understand but don’t speak Spanish). Love this place, and from what I’ve heard this location in particular is the best

Okay I had to come back and change my review why? Because this place is going down hill smh the cook left to open up his own location you must go check out (taquirea Maldonado) !!! The new person cooking has no idea how to season his food and he skimps out on his portions this use to be the place I would go for my breakfast after mass but nope no more good bye moving on to bigger and better things !!!

I’ve tried giving this place about 3 chances and every time I was let down. I’ve tried their chicken tacos, taquitos, the chips and salsa. The salsa was soooo bland and boring. The chicken was disgusting and fatty with no taste. Ew. Will definitely NOT be back here again!

Mi ranchito’s food is just so authentic. If my mom is not cooking Mexican food at home mi ranchito is the closest restaurant to have the authentic Mexican taste.
