Millennium Flooring

After much research we decided to use Millenium Flooring in Palmdale to purchase laminate and have it installed in our home that we recently purchased.
The selection of the laminate was not easy due to the many options they have to choose from in their store in Palmdale.
After making our decision we booked our appointment and we’re extremely happy with the finished product.
Their employee Carlton is an extremely hard worker, kind & did an amazing install job.
In the future we hope to have other work performed from Millineum Flooring.

BE AWARE! I learned so much from this bad experience Things I wish I’d known to look for & ask for Never give deposit greater than 10% or $ 1000.00 which ever is lesser amount to start a job Check license By the way it’s not his I never saw or met contractor Make sure you get all details in writing Also any changes made after I will try to keep this review as short as possible The point is to bring awareness to other consumers of this business’ shoddy work & poor business practices Wael of Millennium Flooring came to our home and gave us an estimate on an upstairs bathroom remodel We decided to use him, huge mistake! 8÷09÷14 He wrote up a contract looking back at it that alone should have given me a clue Pictures provided Work was to be started on 8÷25÷14 but that same day noticed we had several things on our calendar we spoke to him at this time he said he could have work completed in one week asking for two weeks in case any delays Also asked for a week time in addition to that in order to have all material ready Ordering vanity, tile, granite, & 2 sinks Start date was 8÷18÷14 On this day the shower/​tub were torn out area was prepared I then noticed there was no bench or niche built Gilbert told me he was not informed we both then contacted Wael Since he was not aware he didn’t have supplies Built bench no niche I was then told plumbers would be in following day to move pipes & drain after plumbers hot mop would be done He would then return to check for leaks drain water & start on tile I noticed shower was not made as wide as promised Contacted Wael he said they would be in following day to fix it Plumbers came in 8÷19÷14 I told them about shower width & asked they speak with Wael/​Gilbert since they already had communication issues I wanted to make sure they were aware of what is to be done No one came in to fix shower width that day That night we were told someone would show up the following morning to get it taken care of before hot moppers came in 8÷20÷14 I called because no one had shown up & it was late morning Both got here at same time Hot mopper was upset that area was not ready for him holes were not covered I was asked for plywood again they did not have supplies needed They locked themselves in bathroom I heard cutting & hammering 3hrs later they were done Smell was strong I didn’t open door to look Later that night I decided to take a peek Width was left as it was hot mop had been done but then I wondered how they covered holes in the subfloor that plumbers had to cut out to move drain I asked Wael he said «they covered holes with cement board» I asked if that was safe to bear weight I thought wood would have to be used as this was the subfloor then cement over that but not cement board in place of wood (subfloor) He assured me it was fine Jeff came in on Friday 8÷29÷14 to tile Gilbert was in on Saturday 8÷30÷14 took down cement board made niche bigger as originally agreed I left out they came in built niche but was not correct size Saturday 8÷30÷14 Jeff came in to tile shower then again on Monday Labor Day Shower was not completed He said someone else would be coming to finish Every day I had to contact Wael to get information on when they’d be back & what would be done He not once contacted me After speaking to Wael he said tile guy would be in I contacted him to make sure he was aware He tild me no Wael is suppose to finish rest & he would come in on Thursday to finish shower & tile floor Wael then came in himself with other gentleman tore out vanity & mirror put together new vanity & installed it Said he was done & tile could be finished The vanity was not completely finished missing screws & damaged I called no answer text I asked if he thought I would not noticed Replied he would finish it later Next day no show I called no answer text he replied his guy David should have been here Then that «David» was not taking his calls Same thing almost everyday no show or work for a couple of hrs then gone He got fired I asked for itemized bill & refund of unused funds As he hadn’t even ordered all material & half of work was yet to be completed after 23days When I finally got the «itemized bill» it didn’t make sense or match contract prices given He made up prices in order to keep money already paid Some missing details tried to keep short & include main points I will try to attaché pictures
