Panera Bread

I’m a «PlainJane» kinda guy, I don’t like all the crazy flavors or colors most places offer. I just want something fresh that taste good… Guess what, Panera is the spot!

Not very pleased with my last experience. Came in last Tuesday and they forgot to update the computer so I was charged for cookies that weren’t even there. They wrote my name on a receipt as credit but I doubt it will be honored… it was literally a piece of paper that anyone could throw away… I was expecting them to enter something into the computer on my panera account or something.

Overall, a great atmosphere and fast service. The lines can get long (especially at lunch) but you can pre-​order and get your food to go. they make all the sandwiches fresh so they are great!

They have the rudest staff, but what do you expect when the manager is the rudest of them all? She probably fires any decent employee.
Besides that, their portions are much smaller than any other Panera Bread when they manage to get the order right.
MOST importantly their water tastes disgusting. I had to spit it out and request a bottle, then they offered me warm tapwater instead and the manager actuslly COMPLAINED that too many customers are complaining about their water. It’s started tasting worse and worse and probably has mold in it. I’m considering calling the FDA.
Will not return, go to the Lancaster location until they fire their manager unless you want small portions of the wrong food with am attitude and moldy water.

I got food poisoning a couple days ago after eating here :(I got a Thai chicken salad and it’s usually great but now I don’t think I can eat a salad from Panera again. EDIT: wow after reading some recent reviews I’m surprised a health critic hasn’t come in yet! Seems like this location has some major sanitation issues. Won’t be going back.

Never had a bad meal at Panera, always tasty, hot and fresh.
The only disappointment today is the condition of the bench seats. The cushion is worn to the point of when you sit down your bottom hits the lumpy wood frame and it is very uncomfortable to sit. I tried two different booths with the same results. Management needs to fork over some cash and replace them or have them re-​stuffed.

**Update**on ¹²⁄₂₁ I came here with my husband for lunch. Got the usual you pick 2. I swear their servings are shrinking in size. My soup cup was barely half full and my half salad was so small! It’s an hour after I ate and I’m so hungry right now! My husbands salad was supposed to be a «full» but wasn’t much bigger than my half salad. Lame. I won’t be back anytime soon.
Management– quit being so stingy with your small serving sizes. Your prices are super sized but servings are minuscule!

Do NOT get anything from their fountain drinks! I will never go to this Panera again, it’s worth the time and gas to go to Lancaster or somewhere else because of the terrible customer service. If you drink the water from the machine it tastes disgusting, there has to be mold in the machine meaning all of the sodas have MOLD in them. After complaining about their disgusting water numerous times, they offered to get me warm water from the sink in the back instead of a water bottle. The manager was extremely rude and says there’s nothing wrong with the water, yet the employee tried it before asking her and spit it out immediately because it was so gross.
I even overheard the manager saying that everyone ALWAYS complains about the water so just to give us warm water! She knows it’s terrible and lies about it to my face.
The food here is great, when they decide to give you enough of it. After getting a bowl of chicken noodle soup with literally one bite of food they did add more food to the bowl after complaining and waiting give minutes for the manager to decide she could spare the extra food.
If they get rid of the terrible manager here and fix their health hazardous and disgusting tasting water I’d consider coming back, but in the meantime I’ll be eating elsewhere. Panera is pricey enough you would think theyd at least have the money to pay to clean their machine or change out the water filter.

Good was great everything Tasted fresh loved the soups I tried the clam chowder and wife tried the broccoli soup and they were sooo good had to buy some more.

I love Panera. Their fresh chicken and meats on sandwiches and salads are great. Great selection and quality of salads and sandwiches. Service is always fast.
Wish they had more selection on their bagels as by afternoon they are picked over.
Their dessert menu could be a bit more varied and better stocked. Again, by dinner on Friday or Saturday they are picked bare.

Panera is one of my favorite coffee type places to eat. The food is fresh, the drinks are good and the pastries are tasty. I’ve always received great service.

Slightly disappointed when I went in today and found out they no longer carry French Onion Soup. My sandwich looked thrown together and the lettuce was a little wilted. I think they have gone down hill over the years. For the price you pay, your food should look like the displays.

The food is good just like every Panera. It’s the staff and poor management that assures I will NEVER eat there again. Tonight was the last straw. Waited forever to order, yet again (almost always) I arrived before 8:00pm and NO bread bowls. SURPRISE! I waited for my food after making alternate selections to hear the staff discussing that they were now out of sour dough bread. One worker to the other «Hey, I wanted that», «OK, I’ll set some aside for you». They announce my name and say «we are out of sourdough, how about changing the bread and also out of blah, blah, blah». I chose to cancel my whole order and waste that 45 minutes of my life. Did the manager care…“sorry that happened”. Blah, blah, blah. This location is terrible.

Only reason they received 3 stars is their food and the great sweet girl that took our order. I asked for a box for my leftover salad. After putting my salad in said box I realized it was a defective box and the clear plastic top was missing. I went to the food pass counter and asked for a bigger box do I can just drop it in without having to scoop all out and into another box. She handed me the same box after telling her why I need another one. I then told her I asked for a bigger one please. She took the other one down and SLAMMED the bigger one on the counter! Seriously I was at lunch with a co-​worker for my Birthday!!! It was a treat and I was so sad it ended that way. Shame on you girl at the pass counter. You embarrassed me and was rude!

Worst service I’ve ever had they had the a spider in the sandwich they replaced it but I lost my appetite and my daughter just got out of surgery wasn’t going to chance it. Will not go again.

I love their food so yummy! There service can be a hit or miss I’ve had awesome service and not so good service. For the most part their friendly. Only once did they mess up my order which it’s not the end of the world it happens. I come here very often I do know which employees can be not so friendly. I once saw a woman leave a note for an employee on the bad service. Overall I do stop by here frequently.

The food is amazing, just like the customer service. The place is always neat and clean. You get a lot of food for your money. The food is always made to order and fresh.

I think I had a communication error with the cashier, though. I said no on the chips, and she gave me them, anyway. No big deal.

Absolutely love everything they have! Delicious breakfast sandwiches, their soufflés are to die for! Lunchtime sandwiches are great! Soups yummy! Their pastries are worth the fat calories you will consume!
Great deals on bagels on Tuesdays, pastas are great! Pretty much anything you get here, you will be more than happy and satisfied.
I literally get their four cheese soufflés every morning. If you dine in it is very cozy and comfy, it’s all most like Hugh end restaurant at affordable prices!

What’s better than eating breakfast? Eating a wonderful breakfast at this spacious eatery. Beautiful ambiance and friendly staff. The fare is healthy and ever changing… Always a good option.
