His staff are very friendly and were able to get me a new patient appointment within a week. He is very thorough and treated me like I was a valued family member while doing my examinations. He took extra time to explain how my health deteriorated into a severe sinus infection and explained what my new health care routine would be to treat the issue. He was very attentive during some of the more uncomfortable portions of the treatment and was quick to react when I would flinch. It a matter of hours I was feeling back to my old self and I am on a path to recovery.

They just don’t come any better than Dr. Jackson. He is a USC Medical School graduate who is dedicated to the health of his patients. Unfortunately in the Antelope Valley most of the physicians are mediocre at best; Dr. Jackson is the exception. He will spend the time getting to know your lifestyle, current medical status, and medical history in order to arrive at the best possible short-term and long-term outcomes. Indeed, Dr. Jackson has my highest recommendation.

I hate writing negative reviews but my experience with this specialist was really unpleasant. I am a Kaiser member and because of no timely appointments with Kaiser for an ENT and because I was desperate for relief and a second opinion I came in for an appointment(out of pocket for me) with Dr. Jackson after finding and reading his website and reviews. Although this clinic is in a nice and up-kept building the service I received was nothing close to professional. I showed up 20 minutes early for my appointment, complete forms, and they take me to a room where a medical assistant went over my symptoms, meds, etc. I was not seen by Dr. Jackson until nearly an hour of sitting in the room when I was made sure I was on time for my first appointment with this doctor. Not once did anyone come and update me about why I wasn’t been seen yet or offer any water or inform me where the restrooms where. Once Dr. Jackson arrived he literally skimmed over my symptoms and diagnosed me with«glossopharengeal neuralgia». He told me I needed to see a neurologist and he could do nothing for me. After I told him I had seen not 1 but 2 neurologists and both did not mention anything of that diagnosis he took out a briefcase with a little camera which he placed down my nose with no anesthesia or care. I’ve had this exam done numerous times at other places and they always numb my nose before they place the camera down my nostril. Dr. Jackson literally saw down my nostril/throat for about 1 minute and said«there isn’t anything there, go somewhere else». Not once did he lay his hands on my neck, throat, or ears. When I mentioned I had been given a provisional diagnosis of TMJ he brushed it off and said my pain was too severe for TMJ… He spend no more than 5 minutes with me and his consult cost me 130 dollars. He didn’t even offer any meds for pain or ear ringing relief. A few weeks later I was diagnosed with a severe case of TMJ for which I needed weeks of physical therapy, acupuncture, a mouth-guard, and even psychotherapy to deal with so much pain and anxiety caused by months of the worst pain I’ve had in my life brought on by my TMJ.

Dr Jackson is pleasant, knowledgeable, and takes the time to talk to you. But with me, he did not see any nasal obstruction, for which I was there to resolve. Later, I got a second opinion from Dr Paley(Beverly Hills) and was diagnosed with enlarged turbinates and narrowed nasal passages. Like many times before, I find myself having to travel outside of Antelope Valley for a good specialist.

Dr. Jackson is at the top of my experiences with MDs. I am 75 have had experienced 3 bouts with cancer: skin; colon; and most recently a radical prostatectomy, the followup which brought me to Dr. Jackson and his staff. From the first phone call to my exit today, EVERYTHING and everyone was wonderful. He took the time to explain what he was doing and why. Of course I was especially thrilled that he gave me confidence that my vocal cords were fine as was the rest of the exam. I left much happier than when I arrived and while I hope I don’t need ENT related help in the future, I can assure you I would call him directly and immediately. By the way, that confidence extends to his staff! Thank you for the opportunity to share my experience. D Kline Ridgecrest, CA

I’ve been a patient for about 10 years. I receive allergy shots on a weekly basis because I am basically ‘allergic to the earth.’ At my 5 year review it was determined that my allergies have improved and I may have even been ‘cured’ of several allergies. I greatly enjoy the staff in the office. They take the time to interact with you on a personal level. There is little to no turn over within the office staff. This tells me a lot about the way Dr. Jackson runs his business. Dr. Jackson is very knowledgable in his field, cares about his patients & is always available.

We switched from Dr. Campano’s office to here over 2yrs ago due to her office always running behind. At first we loved coming here now as time has gone on the wait times have gotten longer and longer. We even get to our appt 20min early and still have to wait over an hour past appt time. What’s the point in having an appt if its going to be that long of a wait!!! You can’t even make other appts around an appt with him since you never know when you will be done at the office. After this appt we won’t be returning. Or recommending anyone to come here. My insurance pays too much for a 15min appt for us to wait around for a Dr having social hour with his patients. I appreciate a dr that takes time but its ridiculous at this point.
