Sonic Drive-In

My brother and I decided to get a slushy and we love sonic. But this sonic sucked so much!!! We pulled up and they took our order. 30 minutes went by and nothing I had to get out of my car and ask one of the employees. She came back repeating the wrong order and she left back inside to go check again. I walked in and told her to just cancel the order since they never put it in. And she told us that the person who put it in out it in for the drive thru. Honestly I was so mad I waited 30 minutes for 2 drinks. One of the other employees was rude and said just give it to them. Honestly this place deserves a 1 star but Naomi was honestly a great employee and took care of us. She is a good employee. But I’m not going back again!!!

Great food, I recommend the boneless buffalo wings, and the blasts. When it is busy you can get bad service, I recommend going when it is not packed.

Want to step back in time where you pull up in your car and have your food delivered right to your car window via roller skates. Eat delicious burgers, chicken, slushies, chili dogs, tatertots, fries etc. Then what are you waiting for, come try it out. I’ve posted some pictures if you care to see what I’ve eaten.

Don’t get me wrong I love Sonic but these several times I have went. I spent 40mins in the drive thru line waiting … By the time I get my food its cold and unprofessional in my opinion. Am I paying you guys for cold food and wasted time?

I been here several times. very fresh, affordable & delicious food the drive in with roller skates is fast & at a decent speed when busy the roller skate employees have great customer service but on the other hand the drive thru is very very slow busy or not busy, u guys should speed it up during lunch times for people thst go to work. the drive thru window employees are horrible especially the women. their very impatient, rude, snotty, they make you feel less than as a customer

Sonic is absolutely useless! They have ridiculous prices for very obvious frozen, cheaply made food, their employees are lazy and incompetent, drive thru is a joke, the lines are always ridiculous and it’s not because they are popular, it’s because they have no concern for those of us waiting outside. Twice I have received slushies that were nothing more than flavored water because, they let them sit for an eternity before I got to them. I ordered a hot dog and they got it wrong 3 times! If you can’t make a hotdog, why would I bring my business to you? Who hires these people? Seriously!

Forgot to bring the chili cheese tots altogether and it took 6 minutes to get mustard. When I asked the manager if he understood why they had a 3 star rating he said ‘No’ — HA…

If i could give them 0 stars. I would do just that. I never come to this place, but I came here about a week ago on the Wednesday that they were doing 50 cent Grilled Cheese sandwiches because i thought maybe my son would like something new. I pulled up to the drive through and I said Hello several times with no response. The line behind me starts piling up so i decide to pull up to the window instead. I told the girl that no one was saying anything after saying hello several times and patiently waiting about 10 minutes there. She was like, «oh, so you didn’t put in your order?» No dumb dumb. So I put in my order for the grilled cheese and a small order of Popcorn chicken because chicken always wins with my picky 4 y/​o. Had to make sure I had back up in case he didn’t like the grilled cheese. So anyhow, after waiting several god damn minutes, my patience was slooooowly slipping away. Finally after sitting at the window for damn near 30 minutes for a fucking slice of cheese inside 2 pieces of bread. She hands me my bag and I take the fuck off because I wanted to avoid saying anything i would regret as my patience had already run dry. I was assuming that she put my whole order in the bag, because that was her fucking job right? To put the cheese sandwich with my mini popcorn chicken the one i bought for my son who was waiting for me for an hour by this time. When I get home I look in the bag to find that my son’s stupid popcorn chicken wasn’t in the fucking bag. The grilled cheese sandwich looked so dry and mediocre, i’m glad i never bought one at their regular price because 50 cents was definitely all it was worth.
With their lack of competence and customer service, I will not be coming back again.

I went to Sonic about a week ago and the line was super long in the drive thru because the little kiosks where you park and order were down. By the time I finally got my food, they were all out of dipping sauces. Plus, since I’ve started eating healthier, this all tasted like garbage… tons of salt and sugar, yuck.

I’m by no means a tree hugger, but you guys are still using styrofoam cups… really? Everyone made the switch to paper/​plastic years ago, why haven’t you switched yet? You should be more responsible for the environment.

The food is standard Sonic food so no complaints about that but the service is UNREAL. I understand that they’re busy but I have been to other Sonics and have never had this huge of an issue of waiting 30+ minutes for «fast» food. Doesn’t matter if you’re at the drive-​up spots or if you go through the drive through, be prepared to wait an unimaginably long time for your order.

Just left here 20 minutes ago. This review is strictly about the customer service. The foods pretty good every time. The guy working there today around 9:30 — 9:40 was unbelievably rude. He acted as if he didn’t want to be working there. My order took forever despite being the only person there. He acted very pissy. When my food finally did manage to make its way to the window, he literally handed me my order and said nothing to me. Not a here you go, have a nice day, fuck you, nothing. He seriously needs to be retrained on his customer service skills and treating people like crap isn’t the right way to act.

This sonic is A-​OK. I like their mozzarella sticks and their candy slushies more than anything. If youre gonna eat here, you shoud either go drive through or sit in your car. I think they take too long when you try to eat outside at the tables. Open late for the cravers like me. Not bad at all.

I have always seen the commercials for sonics all the time. This was my first time to a sonics in my short existence in this planet. Now i can cross this out my bucket list of places to eat before i die. Their desserts bomb af onion rings fire. I did not eat anything other than desserts will be back here when in the area fire fire fire cant believe it took this long to eat at a sonics. Shame, Shame, shame, shame hahah G.O.T. reference.

i havent been to a Sonic’s in quite some time. i like the idea. burger place with orders taken where you park. not too bad. service was decent. took some time for them to answer, but nothing outrageous. food delivery was prompt. no issues. burgers were good. i am not a burger connoisseur, so i cant say too much about it. chicken poppers were ok. not the greatest, but still pretty good.

Swarming down in my space vessel, halted along the highway of palms dale. twisting my head panoramically searching for a nice place to subdue my craving for a tad bit of ice cream. flavor… I set my silvery vessel in mental park modality, locking my mirror reflecting eyes upon the sign which stated, Sonic Drive-​in! A RARE FIND!

We don’t come for the food. The drinks are great and perfect on hot summer days. The food is cafeteria quality and we’re talking school cafeteria, you don’t come for the food.

My hubs and I stopped by SDI the other day and since I didn’t feel like anything and the hubs had to make a pee stop, we decided to pull into a spot and ordered a large peanut butter chocolate shake. It took a few minutes after I pushed the call button for someone to get to us and about 20 minutes later, we finally got out shake. They were pretty busy, but c’mon…a shake? I didn’t know this before but you do have the option of paying cash if you decide you don’t want to pay with a card.
This S layout is a bit congested and not designed like most, which having car spots you drive into an angel. Most of the cars I saw pulling in, along with myself, had to do a 2 or 3 point turn to fit into the spot.
The drink ended up being pretty thick and not filled up the whole way, but it was pretty tasty. If we ever come back here, we are definitely going to hit up the drive thru… and so should you. There’s plenty of parking around the shopping center, so I would highly recommend going through the drive thru and parking outside the SDI.

The food is not great but I am a fan of the happy hour AND THE SLUSHIES-​OUT OF THIS WORLD! where else can you go get the best slush of your life for $ 1? It’s a different place to go when you want something quick, although the happy hour lines can get insane, they are always willing to accommodate you even if your order gets in a little paso the happy hour due to the lines. The staff is awesome and they can defiantly rock some dollar blades! This is not the kind of place you come to eat a meal really, its more about the shakes, slushes and TOTS…-get your own tots-​gosh.
