What can I say… This place is super expensive, yet the dinner course meal is really good. Would I come here again? Ummmm once in a blue moon, this is definitely not a place to enjoy regularly, it’s more for special occasions.

Ok Victor.. ive been a long term patron of your monopoly of sushi. But now, sushi establishments are a dime a dozen and are as prolific as 7 elevens. With that being said, after nearly 15 years, I’m going some where else where the customer and employee are treated with dignity and respect. Tonight, you slammed my menu down while I was holding my 3 year old daughter, the setting fell to the floor. I thought you were going to come back or have someone replace it. It was only after I asked a server to bring me a new one did it get replaced. You knew what you did because you gasped like a girl when you did it. Then, your sushi boy must’ve been new because I asked for sashimi twice and was handed a bunch of rice with rubbery fish. Did you go outside to the bus stop and ask a local if they knew how to use a knife and wrap an apron on him? Shall I get into my past experience where you berate employees in front of a restaurant of customers and embarrass them and us? And that’s only one time you’ve done it. You’ve done it several times. Now that we’re on the topic of employees.. I know you rob the servers of tips. Question is: do you claim that as income? Good thing I bring cash into your«establishment». Because I’ve been slipping them their tips in cash for years. So you didn’t see a penny. I’m not paying you a dime to throw a menu at me and witness you treat employees like dogs. I’m done with you. And no.. I am not going to anther«Tokyo steakhouse». They’re all under the same ownership so the ideals are all the same. I’ll go to anther sushi place that honors their culture, profession and employees. Tonight’s behavior really opened my eyes. Especially when you didn’t greet me when your shoved my bill in my face. I’ll be surprised if you don’t have the health department and osha visit you. You’re an embarrassment to your profession and culture.

This place is just bad! Way way over price and it looks dirty and the sushi did not taste fresh at all. When me and my husband went we send back two dishes. Don’t waste your money here.

First of all this place is so unsanitary every corner of this grill was filthy, look @ my pic as proof. The cups they use were filthy, the service is horrible, the worst I experienced probably ever. Now the bill for 3, drinks and 3, plates with one side of sushi came out to over$ 140.00. If the food was good and the service was great I would have no problem with the price. By the time all of your food is cooked your main course is cold. If I wasn’t with a party I would’ve walked out of this crap hole. I definitely will not be back, I will take the drive to Valencia and go to Yamatos, where the food is much better, The place is much cleaner and nicer and the Chefs cook faster and are more professional and talented. Forgot to mention they add gratuity to your bill, at this point I went to the manager and complained where he handed me a $ 10 coupon to use on my next visit. I gave it back to him and said I will never be back to his restaurant again.

So I came in on Monday around 4:30pm(happy hour) I had the fried salmon sushi and California rolls(so small) and the best part ever veggie calimari! U thought it was super good however it wasn’t full and they were skimpy on the ginger ! Other than that this place was fab! Thanks for the yummy food great prices !

We’ve had some bad service here the last few times, but this time our chef and the chef next to us was really good. They made it really enjoyable for us. We go here because my kids like the little show, and this time they did not disappoint us.

Love this place! Bomb drinks, my fav is the«zombie» they’re so good & so strong! The teppanyaki is so good! I’ve tried the all the different combinations, chicken, steak, shrimp & lobster! Delish! Great service too. I’ve never tried the sushi though.

My wife and I went 10−2−15 and we had the table to our selves and we ordered appetizers. Another group came in 5 min later and ordered appetizers and they got theirs first. The lady said the kitchen was backed up, so we asked why did they get theirs first when we were here 5 min early. I was already eating my meal and they tried to bring the appetizer and I said I didn’t want it I’m about to eat dinner. Then when they brought the appetizer out anyway I didn’t eat it and I then I found a black hair in our edemame. So I told them to take both back. We never got an apology or nothing! We won’t be back

Our server seemed new and wasn’t knowledgable about the menu. However, the food was AMAZING and I know our waitress will learn soon. Definitely will be back.

Besides my spouse & I spending like $ 90 in one setting for food &2 large beers, the food and everything else was amazing. The staff are friendly, the chefs are funny & entertaining to watch cook your food before your very eyes. It’s a nice place to go on a date or with a large group. They do serve a lot of food, and it’s delicious, so I suppose it was worth it. I’ve been there twice, and I would definitely go again. :)

What can I say about Tokyo Steak that isn’t foretold by the plethora of celebrity/bigwig photos that adorn their walls? The this diamond class dining experience is actually affordable! Eat like a king/queen on a peasant’s budget; does it get any better? How about the delicious soup and salad appetizers that alone warrant my return visits? How about steak with a show of dancing fire and cutlery gymnastics? Bring a party or find a new one with an interactive dining experience that will bring you closer to your table compatriots.

I would like to preface this review with a quick note… I have never been the person to not acknowledge the hard work of those in the service industry(it is what got me through my college years) and I have never been the one to focus one the negative, but today’s experience was simply horrible… To begin, we were greeted at the door by the owner and he is great. Though we were shortly greeted by our server who had ZERO personality and even worse manners. Like, a significant inability or want to deal with people(and when I say ppl, I mean an overly nice polite smiling couple willing to spend $ and leave over 20% tip guaranteed)! We then ordered 2 California Rolls, a teriyaki chicken lunch and and chicken and steak dinner. The sushi was great, simple… but good! When the food finally came after having to hunt down our server for refills, it was plated wrong. Now to the food… it was horrible. I have been coming here for years and will NEVER be back. It was cold, bland, and the veggies literally looked like leftovers. Neither myself or husband had more then 2 bites each. I am very disappointed and at a loss for words. NEVER again will Tokyo get my $$ and I will be sure no one I know goes back either. They need to train staff and get their food on point or close shop! It’s a shame, bc I used to love this place!

The salad dressing was too salty; nothing really special on the specialty sushi that we ordered. When asked about what’s in the Toyota roll the server doesn’t know what’s in there. As a server, we expect them to be knowledgeable of what the restaurant offers. The soup that was supposed to be served with the salad, came in last almost by the time that we’re done eating our entrée. The owner was friendly though and seems accommodating. Overall it was ok

Can’t rate the food since we never got any. As far as the service, well not serving your guests from 2:30pm to 5:30pm is bad enough. Sorry, going to a restaurant on an empty stomach just to find out their closed in the middle of the day kinda ticks me off.

Ok, been here a few times, I think its about time to rate them! The price: It is on the high end for food you could prep, cook and enjoy yourself. The service: Great! Not once have we been there without a good customer service experience. There food: Good. That’s all I have to say about that. The place: Peaceful, Enjoyable, Not too noisy. Will I go back? Yes!

First time at this location. I read a couple of reviews before going, didnt like what I read and decided to take the risk of going. Loved it!!! the staff was very helpful and friendly but most importantly the food was delicious, definitely need to go with a big appetite to this location. It was a fun experience and the staff made me feel welcomed, definitely going back.

Stuck in Palmdale, with no reception to Unilocal and we ended up here. Its a restaurant that only really serves sushi or teppan grill style meals. For dinner its startihg at about $ 16 and can reach about $ 30. Add an additional $ 2.50 on for fried rice. All meals are served with soup, salad and vegetables. Service was a little slow to start, once seated we were told our server would be with us soon. We waited close to 10 minutes for her to take our drink orders. Then more time to get our food orders. So expect waiting once your seated. The meal was entertaining. Our chef was friendly, a bit corny when he turned our onions into a volcano and lit it on fire. You are served a lot of vegetables. I mean a lot. Mostly broccoli, which I dont eat. I wish it was served with more onions. The chicken and noodle mixture was just okay. Lacked a little flavor. All and all, it was a neat experience, but not one that satisfied my taste buds.
