Blackland Home Inspections

UPDATED and EDITED: Blackland was nice, but I do have a TBI. Wish that Blackland had been much more specific on some things. For instance, not mentioning the very small checkbox items to which he did «put a check» for specific inspections. He did not verbally indicate that as his recommendation. This should change. Of the five houses I have purchased, the Inspector had me do «certain things» despite their inspection. In the future, to any of Blackland’s customers make sure you follow the checkbox instructions if he does not verbally tell you. I would have saved $ 5,000 so far and I just moved in three weeks ago.
They were nice to deal with, friendly, and cooperative. However, the minor things he caught were nothing in comparison with what was actually wrong. The HI is not intended to be a catch all, and with a sad sack Realtor, one can be in deep water. Thank God my family has deeper pockets than some.

Great service and very detailed. Awesome guy who cares about the customer. I would recommend them to anyone in need of a home inspection.

I was very impressed with Blackland from the first phone call. Julie was very thorough in her explanations of the complete process and steps that would be taken during the inspection. Clayton was incredibly detailed during his inspections and also on the report that was provided to me within a few short hours of the visit. His experience and professionalism was top notch.
