Indian Orchard, MA
A local legend and a must stop! The donuts are amazing and 3 times the size, with twice the selection and are 10 times better than any chain store. They have danish to die for (my favorite is the cheese). You can smell the bread baking from the parking lot, gotta get a loaf of rye! Birthday cakes, pumpkin squares… all delicious. Trust me, bring some of their specialty pastries as a gift when visiting friends you will be the hit of the dinner party. You can even sit down inside with a cup of delicious coffee and a warm donut. And the staff is as warm and comforting as the baked goods.

I buy my rye bread here, it is the best rye bread money can buy ! Always so very fresh, the staff is always helpful, everyone there does a great job.
If you buy the grinder rolls here, your buying what all the good grinder shops locally buy their rolls. They make a tremendous grinder, outstanding !

We ordered a birthday cake from Chmura’s in Palmer for my son’s 6th birthday. His birthday was a fishing theme and I called to see if they had any cakes to fit that theme. They told me they would see what they could do. When my husband went to pick up the cake with my son, they were blown away. Chmura’s did such a lovely job on the cake. It made my six year old’s party. He was so excited. They really went above and beyond and the presentation was really impressive. Everyone at the party commented on the cake and when it came time to eat it, we weren’t disappointed. It was delicious!
Their prices were very affordable. We will definitely be using them again!

Much smaller than the original Chmura’s in the Orchard, but a great spot anyway. Old school greatness. The breads are fantastic, and obviously the rye is a real stand out.
Breads, pastries, polish specialties… what else would you expect?
Every time I drive by, I have to stop and get a fig square and a coffee. It was my mother’s favorite. Thankfully it hasn’t changed in over 20 years. Wonderful memories…

You will find many of the same goods here, at Chmura’s Too, that you find at Chmura’s in Indian Orchard. The quality is also the same. We picked out pie squares (raspberry, apple, blueberry & lemon), turnovers (apple, blueberry & cherry) & cherry Danish. Fresh, tasty, really good pastry. I miss the little something extra that you find at the bakery in the orchard… something about the atmosphere that just makes it so welcoming even on the busiest Saturday morning. That said… I wouldn’t hesitate to stop in Palmer to grab some goodies if I was in the area.
