I’m a California transplant to Florida and lived in Asia for three years before moving here 4 years ago. There are some very good places to eat here, but so far the Asian food simply can not compare to our West coats offerings — not to mention the«real thing». We tried Demi’s last month. Four of us each had a different dish and each dish was very similar in taste — extremely bland. Perhaps we needed to ask for«Asian» spicy as I understand most of the clientele around here is of a Caucasian persuasion with meat and potato tastes. Of the four of us, only one, a British friend enjoyed her meal — says it all. But really, in the spicy lemon grass — I could taste no hint of lemon! I grow the stuff and know how to use it. If you are looking for good(not even great) Ramen or Phở — this isn’t the place. If you have delicate taste buds, don’t like spice, and want warm soup in an OK atmosphere with a decent wait staff — then Demis is for you.

This lil place is awesome! The food is amazingly fresh and the flavors can’t be beat! We will be back very often! Natalie is an outstanding and attentive waitress! Kudos! We started with the House special hors devour, followed by Phở flank noodle soup for myself and Phở rare noodle soup for my husband. We are stuffed! Absolutely amazing! Well done!

We went this evening and ordered their spicy lemon grass phở. As good as I’ve had in DC and elsewhere. Also liked the spring rolls. We plan to make this a regular stop while we are in Bradenton for the winter.

The staff is friendly and the food is always hot. We really like the Spicy Lemongrass Soup(chicken or shrimp — both are delish). We wish you much success!

The evening we went there, they had no more broth! Selection was very limited. They only had one vegetarian dish that evening. Too pricey for the quality. I will not go back.

People were nice, but low quality. The iceberg lettuce inside my spring rolls was brown… made me not want to finish my food. I got an order of fresh spring rolls and a cup of Tom yum for a little over $ 10 during lunch.

Absolutely love Demi’s, the staff is super friendly and inviting, the atmosphere is adorable, the food is so fresh, my only complaint is the portions are SO so so small if you get anything besides the Phở. It’s all so fresh, but for the price, there needs to be more food. My husband and I often get the beef stir fry and the fried rice, both excellent but I could eat two portions easily and I’m a small girl. It barely fills the bigger section of the to go box even half way, to me it’s a child’s portion. Fried rice is super cheap, they could definitely step it up on the portion size for the price you pay!

Came to Demi’s Noodle House for the first time and it was great. We received excellent service from all of the friendly staff. This place is down a back road, but shines bright once you see it. With its modern & clean interior along with the tasteful music of 80’s soft rock, our first time visiting was definitely a pleasant experience. Next time I’m going to try their saki bombs! We had beef noodle phở soup, shrimp spring rolls and veggie rice noodle soup. Not extremely salty(like I’ve had at other places) and the portions and prices are decent. We left happy and full. Not the best Phở, I’ve had but it was still delicious. I have my favorite places to go but I’m definitely glad this place opened up. Can’t wait to come back and try their egg rolls and their wonton soup. There’s not other place around the ellenton, parrish, palmetto area like Demi’s Noodle House! We wish them the best of luck with their restaurant.

Service was really slow but that was due to the kitchen. Appetizers were average. Phở broth was above average but the noodles were totally over cooked. They basically fell apart when I tried breaking it up. Unfortunately won’t be going back.

I had been looking for a good noodle place and Demi’s is the place to go. The food is amazing. I had the spicy lemongrass soup with steak. It was fresh, hot and extremely tasty. The portion was huge, so I had some to take home for lunch the next day. I was sad when the leftovers were gone. The service is excellent, very friendly and attentive. I can’t wait to go back!

I was so looking forward to trying this place when I heard they had moved in, being a big fan of all Asian cuisines. On a whim I ordered lunch for take out: one each(pork and chicken) of their Banh Mi sandwiches.(Called hoagies here, I suppose to avoid confusion). My husband and I split them. The flavors were excellent, but the sandwich was very skimpy on ingredients. I did my best to spread everything out evenly, but had gaps at the ends where the last bite was just bread. I really hate that in a sandwich! Luckily the bread was excellent, so I still enjoyed it. But really if they just upped their portions a tad, it would have been a 5 star excellent. As it was it was good, but I felt a little underwhelmed for the price. I hope they up their game, as there are two Subway Sandwich Shops within walking distance, and while they are not comparable in flavor, you can get a nice sandwich at Subway for the same price.

This restaurant is in my list to visit for sometime and Rachel beat me to it. I was close to the restaurant and decided to try them. This mom and pop shop for the Vietnamese cuisine. The husband man the store front and the wife cooking at the kitchen. This restaurant actually use the old gas station building. The restroom is at the outside. The interior is well decorated and it is very delightful. The menu is simple. They have different type of broth base that combine with meat type or tofu. I am here today for the special lemon grass spicy soup. I have selected the rare beef with meat ball. The make their own meat ball and they are very good. The soup noodle add the fried garlic or onion and make it pleasant to drink. We also order the combination appetizer. It is the house special hors devour with fresh roll, shrimp roll, egg roll. This are great to try. Overall experience is good. Restaurant is clean.

The service was friendly and quick but for $ 10.50 I need more than a soda out of a can and a bowl of soup. The food seemed authentic but it did not wow me at all. I’m sorry but I just can’t give them more than two stars. It’s a newer restaurant so maybe they’ll work the kinks out and we can update the review.

Delicious food! I recommend you go early because you may have to wait. The owner was gracious enough to come out of the kitchen to greet my lunch date(whom she recognized from another establishment) and I. We were very impressed with our meals and will definitely be back.

I really liked Demi Noodle Shop. I liked my order of Grilled Pork, Shrimp, Egg Roll with noodles and salad. Too bad I gave most of the grilled pork and egg roll to my hubby. That is what I do as a good wife. He didn’t care for his order too much. It was stir fry with chicken, egg noodles, bok choy, carrots, and broccoli. I let my waitress know my hubby wants more chicken, less veggies. There was a lot of veggies. Don’t get me wrong. I love those veggies, but him, no way. There was not a lot of chicken, and this time around not so much noodles. Not his favorite. I thought the veggies were very tasty by the way. He can be such a baby about them :-) I love the décor inside with the painted walls. So pretty! Outside was interesting. There are tables to sit outside. I would go back, and know it is a good option when I have my dog with me. Bathrooms are weirdly placed on the outside left side of building. They are clean. Server was sweet and nice!!!

Having moved here from Seattle where there are noodle and Phở restaurants on every corner we were thrilled to find Demi’s. Jeff is super nice as is the staff and Demi is fantastic chef. We are now regulars. As a matter of fact I just flew in from Seattle tonight and am going to Demi’s tomorrow night. Can’t wait! And yes, the bathrooms are outside. It use to be a gas station sooooo– the bathrooms are very clean and beautifully decorated and this is Florida so an outdoor bathroom is not a bad thing!

We tried to have dinner here a few weeks ago, about 4 days after they opened. Wow. Palmetto was pretty dang excited for a new Vietnamese restaurant — people were lined up out the door for carry out and tables were filled. Demi’s was not prepared for the onslaught, so we thought we’d make it easier on everyone and try them a few weeks later, give them some time to work the bugs out. Staff and our waitress were so good and so apologetic for the craziness. Which brings us to tonight. Was craving some Vietnamese food tonight so we thought we’d give it another try, and wow was it worth it! Service was smooth sailing from start to finish. My husband and I are quasi-vegetarian(no meat, we’ll eat fish every so often), but we’re used to working our way through a menu. We had spring rolls to start, delicious fresh, perfectly balanced mint and great peanut sauce. Bun with lemongrass tofu is one of my favorite dishes, and they didn’t offer a vegetarian option on the menu. Jeff was so wonderful about asking Demi if she could make it, and it was AMAZING! I’m really hoping they add it as a permanent fixture. My husband had the Coconut Vegetable Lemongrass, and it was delicious. BTW, Good beer selection, didn’t check out the wine, but they had a delicious cold sake. I would really love to have Phở, but can’t because of the beef broth. I would love a vegetarian broth option Demi! You can do it, your food is amazing! Can’t wait to come back, you’re on our ‘go-to’ places list! Thanks for a fabulous meal
