Sunset Grill Terra Ceia Bay celebrated its Grand Opening in August of 2014. As cautious diners we purposely avoided visiting Sunset Grill until we could get a gauge of Unilocal reviewers. Here we are eight months after the GO and still not a single review. HMMM. Well, we came across the Easter Sunday menu on Facebook and decided to give Sunset a shot. The dining room offers golf course views from nearly every table. Atmosphere is rather sterile, i.e., no real theme. Heck, this is a golf and tennis community. Where is the décor? Flatware wrapped in paper napkins and the lack of tablecloths bemoan the average $ 20 entrée. We were surprised that at the Noon hour we were the only table in the place. The host/bartender/waiter was very personable and accommodating. We requested«kicked up» Bloody Marys and got exactly what we wanted. The house salads were plentiful. Three of our four entrees were from the Easter Sunday menu. Lobster ravioli contained plenty of «meat» although the sauce was a bit too salty. The roasted pork loin was tender as could be. Chef was not bashful on his ham portions. The 6 oz filet mignon was perhaps a bit under-cooked per our request but the three side sauces made it palatable. Three stars is about all we can muster from this experience. We are considering a return to try their«German influenced» menu. Stay tuned. This establishment needs to move beyond relying on Facebook for exposure. A true website with updated menus and event/music calendars would be most informative and so much easier to find for non-FB users. Sadly, the gated community’s own website doesn’t even include a link to the restaurant.
