Great addition to local grocery stores. Small size of the store is very convenient for those who don’t feel like or don’t have time to walk around a Shoprite. Pleasantly surprised everytime I go in because the owner has added some new item like local honey, organic coffee, gigantic bags of fresh spinach(good for the juicers), raw sugar, shitake mushrooms, even little birdhouses. Its the first time I heard about and the only place I know to buy the delicious Fresh Made brand Amish plain kefir. They also have the ‘mundane’ and staples like onions, avocados, potatos, fruit, vegetables. Sometimes the produce is a tad not fresh but revivable and still edible(often reduced to a great price) but you’ll always see something you want to buy.

I am on board with this store. It’s a good local place that provides reasonably priced items for a quick stop. I’m semi-confused about the management knowing who their clientele is based on the products in the store(ie: Bolt House Juice, Pierogies, and Sara Lee snacks?) I find that semi-strange because it doesn’t speak well to a defined business plan in terms of understanding your audience. I think the staff is very friendly and helpful. I’ve questioned the source of the produce in some instances with assumptions that some produce may«on the last leg» Despite the previous Unilocaler’s comment I am not so sure it’s always better than ShopRite in terms of price or quality. All is fair, considering the size differences. I have been trying to send as many people here as possible.

I love the convenience of this place! Close to home and for a few quick things it’s much better than schlepping over to a larger, and much more crowded supermarket. the produce is always fresh and there is plenty of variety. They’ve been adding some dairy and non-dairy items which means I can get a lot of shopping done here and I avoid the unhealthy impulse products elsewhere. Everyone is nice and will get special items for you if requested. The pierogi they sell are awesome! Just wish the hours were a little later.

It’s very exciting to have a place like this in Palmyra. It is small, but well stocked with a wide variety of fresh fruits and veggies. Some organic fruits and veggies, which, as normal, are a little pricey. But everything is cheaper and fresher than Shoprite. They know their competition, and price pretty much everything better. If you are looking for something, they will try to get it for you. The staff is really nice. It’s very clean. You can also get bagels and an assortment of Polish products(the co-owners are apparently Polish). it always easy to park since it is not right in downtown Palmyra. Make sure you look at a map, because it is on the way to route 73 from downtown. Overall, It’s just great to have them in town.
