This guy may be technically competent, but he suffers from a personality disorder that negates all that. Simply put, he is unable to communicate. One has to drag information out of him: What did my tests show? What is my prognosis? Should I change anything from now on? What about followup care? He never, ever volunteers a word, and only answers in 2 – 3 word sentences. He evidently has Asperger’s Syndrome or something else along the spectrum of autism. Poor guy.

Dr. Epstein did an amazing job of my vasectomy yesterday; I was a bit nervous but he and his assistant were very professional, reassuring and friendly. The whole thing took 45 minutes: 15 to check in and wait(as you do), 15 for prep(betadine scrub and making sure that my chosen pharmacy has some Tylenol #3 ready) and 15 minutes to get it done. I didn’t bother to ask which style(no needle, no scalpel, etc) he used, and quite frankly after the anesthetic went in it didn’t really matter. Not quite enough Novocaine to numb me from navel to knees, but I didn’t feel much beyond a vague sense that someone was doing something to my bits. Dr. Epstein said he’d use enough Novocaine to last for 4 or 5 hours. I took one T#3 after about 4 hrs just to ease the transition when the Novocaine wore off, turns out that wasn’t necessary. Single scalpel incision, two sutures. No pain, oozing or swelling today. No, I will not send you pictures. A+++++ would vasectomize again

I had a vasectomy performed by Dr Epstein(urologist); it was relatively unstressful, and the procedure was successful without any side-effects(beyond the expected week or two of discomfort). I would recommend him.

I was suffereing from painful kidney stones that wouldn’t past and saw Dr. Epstein who performed the the laser removal surgery flawlessly. After resting for a couple of days I was good to go. I’d recommend his services to anyone. Thanks Dr. Epstein!
