Homewood Suites by Hilton

My husband and I stayed here for almost a month because of a flood in our house. We live in PA and this was the most local spot that would take us and our dog. This is, without a doubt, the most dog friendly hotel we have ever stayed. We have gotten to know the business «regulars» during our month here and it’s a pretty happy place. Generally, I like high end hotels when I travel for business or pleasure. This is not. But it is new, clean, friendly, and has a very accommodating staff. I had many packages sent to the hotel and there was never a problem. Breakfast has options for everyone, and decent coffee. I was able to easily hook up a secure router to the free internet so I could do banking and other online transactions. Not once did I have to call the hotel tech support — the internet works here! We used an HDMI cable and streamed through our devices to the TV to keep up with our shows. We needed to use a conference room for a meeting and the staff arranged for this, for free. The Homewood is a decent and comfortable hotel with free parking, Internet, breakfast and light supper/​happy hour. Easy Lyft access to downtown PA and Cal Ave and Door Dash was delivering many meals each evening. There is a Whole Foods and Safeway and other grocery options walkable or a short drive. We used the gas grill on the patio (also enclosed and dog friendly) and picked up sides at the many local spots. I recommend this hotel for both business and long term stays. I will be happy to move back to my house next week! But the Homewood has been a perfect in almost every way when you cannot be at home.

i stay at Hilton brand hotels on most of my travels and have received great accomodations on most of my trips and bookings. I booked a night stay with this Homewood Suites location for one night for 60,000 points. however, i noticed that i was charged 120,000 points instead. I’ve contacted the hotel manager and attendant several times and they promised to settle and credit me the overcharged points. to date, i have yet to get my 60,000 points over charged with repeated plea for help. I was told that my concern was elevated to the hotel manager who will in turn take care of the problem… that was 4 phone calls ago. To date, still waiting for my points reversal.

My first time staying at Homewood Suites on 4329 Camino Real Palo Alto and it was a pleasure. I spent 7 nights and aside from one morning of Luke warm shower water our stay was very nice.
Free breakfast, and lite dinner was a pleasant surprises
The rooms are large and comfortable with a nice couch area and kitchen with a large fridge, stove top, microwave and necessary utensils and plates.
There’s even a grilling area and free beer and wine at dinner.
The bed was comfortable and had plenty of pillows.
I would recommend this location to anyone staying in the Palo Alto area.

Had an issue that came up months ago and their manager, Matt was very courteous in explaining what had happened the weekend we visited and made it right with us. Appreciate the concern they show for their customers.

Came to the hotel late after our trip to San Francisco. We are on our way to Santa Cruz and this was an upmost best experience yet. We checked in with a customer service oriented lady and within one minute checked in and in our fancy suite. Wow! Best hotel ever. As I walked in, I noticed that the ceilings are over 10′ tall. Amazing. Then I asked my wife how much we paid for this lavish lifestyle of hers. She replied with a very small number. Another wow. Bed was soft, nice working heater, all the kitchen appliances and cooking gear present. Woke up with breakfast in bed, which my wife brought since it’s her birthday week and had a wonderful meal. Good orange juice, tasty scrambled eggs, well baked potatoes, soft scone and crunchy toasted bagels with cheese cream. It was so good, that we went to get seconds. It was an hour after our first meal, and my wife didn’t see anyone from her first trip. We felt like we were invited and at home. Stay here and stay the best.
Internet connectivity was the best. Very fast! Downloaded 1.3 GB Apple Update on my MacBook pro 15″ Retina within 10 minutes. The best part is that my wife wasn’t able to connect to the WiFi on her phone. We saved tons of money this weekend. Thank You Hilton!

Most hotels don’t offer a free breakfast let alone free breakfast and dinner. Home wood suites does both and the service is top notch. Rooms are clean and spacious. Oh and they have free wine and beer at night.

Free parking, free internet, free hot breakfast, free dinner M-​Th, free beer or wine during evening time, free detergent/​dryer sheets at the coin operated guest laundry… seriously???
Staff was friendly, super clean and new hotel, spacious and comfortable accommodations. It really did feel as close to home as I could imagine. The rooms also did not disappoint with nice quality Neutrogena toiletries, average linens, comfortable bed, and good shower. We asked for a crib and got a surprisingly high quality pack n play! Wow!
Suggestions for the hotel:
Add a diaper changing station to the first floor bathroom.
Add an accessible ramp from the side parking lot, otherwise you have to wheel your luggage (or stroller, etc) to the front door for the ramp.
Bottom line: great place to stay at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend!
