Intermix

This review is about my experience from over a month ago. It continues to haunt me so I’m just going to share my experience… I was looking for a birthday outfit and love the INTERMIX’s in New York so I figured the service would be the same. The sales person (I think her name was Ashley) was so rude! She looked me up and down as soon as I walked in and didn’t talk to me until I was holding an item in my hand. That’s when she introduced herself and even then, she had her cell phone in her hand and was clearly more interested in what was on her phone than in the store. I was in the fitting room with a lot of clothes and she came to see how I was doing only once, and even then she seemed bored. I left empty handed and honestly, it left such a bad taste in my mouth I had to share. I’ll continue to shop in the New York locations when I’m there.

I really love this Intermix. Very happy they opened one up in Palo Alto. The girls who work there are really friendly and cute, and not pushy at all (which is the worst salesperson quality). The selection is as good as it gets at Intermix. They have everything in stock that’s online and a good sale selection as far as I can tell from the few times I’ve been in!

Great clothes, cranky, moody, young and bored sales associates. Twice I’ve had a horrible experience. The second time I brought in my handsome son to see if that would soften them up, but no… still abrupt and unhelpful. Even he said they seemed unhappy and mean. Let’s see how they do in Palo Alto. Be warned.
