Dr, Kaplan is a medical genius beyond description in the field of plastic surgery. His professionalism and expertise are surpassed only by his warmth and care for his patients. I’ve known Dr. Kaplan for over two decades; his reputation has brought him innumerable patients locally and from abroad for a range of surgeries and treatments. The (‘before’ and ‘after’) results have always been remarkable, showing beautiful change as per each patient’s specifications. Dr. Kaplan has mentored and trained tens of Stanford residents who went on to become plastic surgeons with honors. Dr. Kaplan has traveled to Third World countries, reaching out to victims of natural disasters, disease, birth abnormalities and more, giving back dignity and beauty once lost. I highly recommend Dr. Kaplan and his team and appreciate the wonderful work they continue to do.

Can not believe Dr Kaplan got a negative review. That’s what prompted me to finally write something. Not only is he professional & an expert in his field, but I found his staff totally professional also.
As matter of fact, he fixed something that 2 different drs at the Palo Alto Clinic failed to fix.
I believe he previously was the head of Plastic Surgery at Stanford, so this dr. Is not the loser that the One disgruntled reviewer wrote about!
therefore, I am completely befuddled that anyone would besmirch his excellent reputation.
But to be fair, I can only speak from my personal experience… he is great!
I love Unilocal,but it scares me that one person could influence so many, or ruin someone’s excellent reputation

Dr. Kaplan performed a really botched surgery for me and two other people that I know. After the very bad surgery I started to hear from other plastic surgeons that he is HIT or MISS type of doctor. Once in a blue moon, he will do an okay job or he will do an awful job. I would urge people NOT to have this doctor perform any plastic surgery on anyone. Do your research well before you pay money to this doctor. He will ruin your face or other body parts and then he will have his insurance company reject your claim and you are out thousands of dollars. He did a VERY botched surgery. Also his office staff is very unprofessional and unreliable. He also lied to me by saying he was a network doctor. He lied and then on the day of the surgery when I didn’t want some young student doctor to be part of my surgery, he got really angry and stormed out of the room. SO unprofessional! Please do yourself a favor and find another plastic surgeon. There are some really good doctors in the area like James Pertsch in San Mateo. I wonder how many law suits there are against this man. PLEASE! Ask other people that work at other plastic surgeon’s offices. I wish I had done this before I paid this man more then 10K to ruin my face. Dr. K. is professional, on time, skilled, and didnt leave any scars on the skin thing i had removed. Like that he listens and does good work.
Found him through my friend who had him perform her face lift she looks great, not freaky. I even say her post op not much swelling bruising.
The guy has skilled hands, true artist…
