Horrible management. I made a reservation for 20 over 2 months ago and we followed up and confirmed it no less than 4 times. We get there tonight and they moved us to a small table right in front of the main door when we were promised a section to ourselves with no one else. Instead we shared our table with the entire restaurant. I won’t go into further details but this was a very special evening for us where we really needed to have just a little space to ourselves to say goodbye(forever) to a dear friend. The manager blamed the issue on the other manager then complained that her other customers were slow so she couldn’t move is. Bottom line: everything was everyone’s fault but the manager.

Good food, lots of space on dinner time on weekdays, and nice atmosphere.

Consistent through and through regarding the food, regardless of the location. We are fortunate in having two locations(Palo Alto and Sunnyvale) very close to our home. So, we go to either one, depending on which is the most convenient. Tonight’s experience regarding the food was great as always. We waited approximately 30 mins with was no problem since we were at the shopping mall. Rochelle(sp?) took good care of us, even though she was a bit on the cold, perhaps condescending side. Anyways, «it’s all good»!

Very good and delicious sea food. It was my first time there and the first experience was really good. Let’s see the next times…

Typical bland, mass produced food from the quintessential suburban eatery adjacent to the mall. Anything is better than this place even Chipotle or McDonald’s in the mall.

I used to like PF Changs when they first popped up. The menu choices wasn’t small but perfect. Fast forward to present day. I know you have to keep up with the times but I think it’s a bit too much. The flavors have changed and prices have gone up due to economy but it has changed my taste and choice in coming here. The only reason I came here was because I had $ 50 in GC to use. Depending on location or should I say all locations, the flavors seem to cater palettes that are non traditional southeast. Other than that the workers at this location was great and very helpful.

Talk about salty! If you have the disposition of a horse, and enjoy a good salt lick, well, then this might be the place for you! Seriously though, this place is supposed to be «upscale» Chinese? Um, no way. Everything was way too salty, and quit frankly boring. I am going to throw this out there… Panda is better. I am giving 2 stars, only because I did kind of like the lettuce wraps. Other than that, won’t come back here again. $ 60 lunch for 3, with sub-par food? Not worth the bother.

I’m always a fan of PF Changs! I really like their Mapo Tofu and their dessert(the chocolate raspberry wonton) is to DIEFOR! :) Definitely order their dessert when you go!

The only reason why we go to PF Chang for the non-authentic Chinese food is because PF Chang has gluten free menu. My daughter is gluten sensitive. After eating there ordering foods from their gluten free menu, she has a reaction. I tested the Singapore street noodle(supposedly made not from wheat) with gluten test kit and it has gluten. I’ll test some other dishes. For a chain store, it is shameful to label gluten free dishes that is not gluten free.

I like P.F. Chang’s and yes I know it’s not authentic Chinese food. I’d call it more Chinese-American style fusion food. If you are expecting authentic Chinese food, prepare to be disappointed. I’ve been coming here for multiple year(like since we first discovered it when I was in middle school?). Anyway, our go-to dish is the lettuce wraps and crab wontons. Everything we’ve gotten, we’ve been pretty satisfied with. We also got the Buddha’s feast(steamed veggies), Hot and Sour soup, pepper steak, and a noodle dish(apologies I went two week’s ago and never remember to write reviews until wayyy later). It was all very good and definitely enough for the four of us. Keep in mind, when ordering soup in a bowl(that’s the bigger size) it is HUGE. Service was great. After finding out I was allergic to peanuts, they printed out a separate menu that listed ALL the dishes I could safely eat as well as asked the kitchen to use a clean wok for our table’s dishes. I really like that PF Chang’s went above and beyond to accommodate my allergy. Again, this is NOT an authentic Chinese restaurant, but it’s got pretty delicious food and I for one will recommend the lettuce wraps(with chicken) and the crab wontons(oh god I could eat so many of those it’s scary). I think PF Chang’s it was started my love affair for crab wontons and it’s sad that I can never find good ones in New York. I mean I can, but they usually are a LOT greasier than PF Chang’s. But New York has dimsum so I’m a happy camper regardless. Also I don’t want to compare them because that’s like comparing apples and oranges.

This review is long overdue and reflects mostly my experiences at the Palo Alto restaurant. Like so many chain restaurants, PF Chang’s has a hard time with consistency in quality. We’ve had some really good dishes here(and at other PF Chang’s)… only to return and be disappointed. Given the ups and downs, this will probably be our last visit. The dishes we had in our most recent visit included… Chicken Noodle Soup — Always a home run. Love the chili peppers and thick rice noodles. Lemongrass Chicken Salad — The flavor was well hidden. Walnut Shrimp in Melon — This was quite good Spicy Green Beans — Also good Lobster Fried Rice — Meh. The menu didn’t mention the lobster would be deep fried. Yuck! Almond and Cashew Chicken — Meh. Most places serve this in a nice, light sauce. PF Chang’s uses an overpowering thick brown syrupy sauce. Veggies were sparse but the«motor-oil» sauce was abundant. Ginger Chicken — This was mostly a repeat of the Almond and Cashew Chicken but with different veggies.

Their food is delicious, improving much than before but it’s little bit salty for my tongue. The waiter Terrance is so nice and knowledgeable about the menu. He helped me choose the dish, Shaking Beef, love it. I’m satisfied with my desert too, fried banana and ice cream plus fruits.

Decent food but horrible service at this location. We came for lunch, and the restaurant was only about 1⁄3 full. Our waitress disappeared for 15 – 20 minute stretches, and it took us over an hour to receive our entrees — only for them to be boxed before we could eat them so we could run back to work(late). Ouch. Not a work-friendly spot.

Some say that this is fake Chinese food but not sure what that means. Sure they don’t serve chicken feet but I’m not a fan of that so I’m fine with what they have. Given my food choices are somewhat limited, they still offer plenty of vegetarian dishes to sample. My staple is the vegetarian lettuce wraps and the ma po tofu with broccoli. The lettuce wraps come with this amazing sauce that they put together: chili oil, soy sauce, chili paste, white vinegar, and hot mustard. That stuff is so good that you might as well pour it over your other dishes. The only sad part is on this particular trip, I was told that the garlic noodles is not vegetarian and made with some chicken or beef broth, can’t remember. When I substituted the sauce, it didn’t taste the same. It was still good but didn’t have the freshness of the original garlic noodles. While I like my tofu extra crunchy, I still love the ma po tofu where they use silken tofu and gently fry it. I say gently because the outside is a dark brown but yet the inside is still super soft. I miss it when the servers used to bring all the sauces and make it in front of you. It’s a great presentation and I can sometimes use more hot mustard rather than wait for the servers to come by my table. This particular location was friendly but took forever for staff to bring out our plates. The food had already arrived but it took another five minutes for the plates to arrive. One of my biggest pet peeves is watching hot food get cold. Vegetarian dishes don’t have the meat to keep things hot so I tend to want to eat it right away before it gets cold. There’s no waiting period for the tofu to rest. Ha! Generally, P.F. Chang’s all have friendly servers but they’re always a bit slow in getting water refills, plates, extra napkins, etc. Do they really have to prep all the food before it gets served?

Wow, the food and restaurant experience at this PF Changs is great. The staff is excellent and the Oolong Marinated Chilean Sea Bass leaves a lasting memory to come back for more. I’ve had dinner here atleast 8 times over the last 2 months. Bathrooms are clean, outdoor heated seating is quiet and comfortable, Atkins friendly dishes! My favorites thus far: Chang’s Chicken Lettuce Wraps Chang’s Chicken Noodle Soup(bowl only) Crab Wontons Oolong Marinated Chilean Sea Bass (line-caught, steeped in oolong tea, broiled and served with sweet ginger soy and spinach) Kaleidoscope Roll(we placed a 2nd order!) I always love a little PF Changs. I think the food is great, and the portions are huge. We arrived with a large party, were sat right away(during the lunch hour), and were served quickly. We ordered so many different options, and honestly, they were all delicious. The chicken lettuce wraps have to be one of the best things at PFC, and we were not disappointed. One thing I noticed they don’t do for you anymore: mix up the sauces. We had to ask them if they could get us a side of the sauces to mix ourselves. The drinks were good, the food was good, and all around I’d just say it’s a good restaurant.

My ex and her husband invited myself and the wife to PF Chang’s happy hour. Now my ex doesn’t invite me out to anywhere, unless she has a ulterior motive. In this case she also invited her tennis friend who just so happened to be her financial advisor. PF Changs has a 3pm-6pm happy hour where they serve a drinks and appetizers at a discounted happy hour price. Recently however their happy hours were extended to 3pm-7pm, making all the difference in the world to us couples with each person working long hours. Now PF Chang’s happy hour has one big stipulation: happy hour meal customers must eat only in the bar or outside, to limit the number of happy hour customers, and also not to take away space from the regular paying dinner customers. So we eat outside, with the four of us waiting for the wife, who arrives late. We tell the 25 year old waiter to look for an older white lady who looks lost. The waiter asks how old, and I say old enough to be your momma! Meanwhile I notice that my ex ‘s husband has some extra ventilation in his backside. Sure enough on the backside crease, where his wallet is in the pocket, there is an inch long hole! Everyone laughs at his predicament, as the hole is too far down to cover with his shirt hanging out. Shows who does the clothes washing in the household –him! The ex is paying and knows exactly what to order from the happy hour menu. We get three orders of the $ 6 lettuce wraps with cooked chicken, green onions, mushrooms, and water chesnuts. Their best appetizer and flavorful and crispness to die for! Next we order two orders of the $ 5 chicken satay — each order with 3 good size chicken breast skewers with spicy peanut dipping sauce. Great deal, but got to eat it before it gets cold. The waiter comes with two orders of $ 5 Jicama pork tacos, each order with 3 small but tasty pork lemon flavored tacos in jicama shells with raw cabbage and carrot strips. The pork is a bit on the sour side, until you eat it with the vegetables. We get one order of $ 7 California rolls, 8 rolls, no crab, but with kani kama, cucumber, avocado and rice. Tastes decent and doesn’t fall apart in your chopsticks, but it’s only imitation crab, and nothing to write home about. Finally we get an order of the $ 7 salt and pepper calamari –breaded cooked squid, with spicy chili dipping sauce. Tastes good, but probably I would not order again, as the portion is too tiny. Drinks for everyone, including my wife, who orders a mai tai. I don’t touch the stuff, and the ex knows it. Everyone else gets any of their dozen plus selections of beers. Final bill is $ 84 before tip, with the ex paying the tip, and using debt cards to pay for the meal. I ask my ex if she paying with food stamp cards(SNAPs)! No my high paying nurse ex is paying with multiple Costco gift cards -$ 20 for $ 25 worth of food at any PF Changs. Meanwhile the financial advisor sizes me up financially, asking very general questions, and showing me a schedule of her upcoming financial advice lectures. My ex couldn’t get my money, so she’s trying another way! We leave with the ex’s high paying engineer husband with his jacket tied around his waist, to cover the pants that should will be delegated to garden work, although he might wear it by mistake to work again!

I like the egg rolls here. The egg rolls are good. Egg rolls are the best kind of rolls there is. This place is pretty cool, nice location, plenty of parking, shiny exterior, pretty quite inside . The waitstaff are pretty good. I didn’t wait too long. The beef broccoli is pretty good too.

I have to say I was kinda disappointed with PF Chang’s Palo Alto. The one in Beirut, Lebanon is way better flavors wise. The food was OK. Not bad but not great either. The flavors seemed a little less dominant than I was used to in Lebanon. The service and ambiance was excellent though.
