This place is now closed. Does anyone know where they have other stores?

This place is awful. I would never purchase shoes here again. I felt taken advantage of after a couple of experiences. The sales people tried to fit me with the wrong size multiple times arguing that«we can make it fit». They tried to put tongue pads in the shoe and footbeds, etc. If the shoe don’t fit, just order me the right size. Ha, well, therein lies another problem. If you order shoes from Robert Krohn, who knows when they will arrive. Let me provide an example, I ordered shoes at Fleet Feet in Menlo Park… the shoes arrived in 3 days. Same shoes ordered at Robert Krohn… it took 4 weeks… AND, I HADTOCALL Robert Krohn MYSELF to find out the shoes had arrived. Also, Robert Krohn would not take back a pair of shoes that were poorly fitted. Again, I took these poorly fitted shoes to Fleet Feet and, since Fleet Feet was also a dealer of the brand, Fleet Feet returned the shoes to the manufacturer and gave me store credit. Don’t be fooled, Robert Krohn wants your money and could care less about service! Shop for shoes elsewhere.

Stopped in her to take a look at shoes and boy was I surprised to see clearance rack prices closer to $ 200 then not on several pair of shoes that I liked. No thank you Robert Krohn Shoes… not with those outrageous clearance rack prices… I’ll shop elsewhere.

I had a similar problem to the commenter on 2÷16÷2010. I called to ask about a donation drop-off for Soles4Souls, and they said that they only offer that for customers because of shipping cost. I have emailed Soles4Souls and suggested that they don’t list them as a donation location any more. I took my shoes to Fleet Feet in Menlo Park and had no problem.

Great customer service with full service treatment. They spent an hour trying to help me get into the correct size and shoe. Definitely will go back to purchase from here. Although i thought the correct address was 855?

TERRIBLE customer service!!! I went in this morning and tried on a pair of shoes, but was not sure I wanted to spend that much. I went home and thought about it. And a couple of hours later called and asked the sales lady to put them on hold for me, and verified the price. When I went to get them two hours later the price was double! She told the manager what the price had been earlier in the day and that I had called and confirmed and he simply said«yes, they were mis-marked, that’s not the price any more, and I won’t honor the other price». It’s a shame the manager was so rude and short-sighted. He clearly does not see he didn’t just lose one sale, he lost what could have been a long-term customer.

They have a donation box for Soles For Souls( ) in their store. But don’t be fooled! It’s a placebo box. It’s just there to soothe the consciences of wealthy Stanford shoppers. If you try to actually donate shoes, like I did today, they’ll turn you away because it would cost them money to actually ship the shoes to S4S. I still gave them two stars because they might’ve accepted the shoes and then tossed them in a dumpster, I guess. At least they were honest about it being a sham.

I stopped in here after seeing they carry J-41 shoes which are comfortable and stylish. They also carry Dansko(now called Sunita) clogs which are very popular. Many of their shoes are high quality and geared toward comfort. There is also a nice variety of cute and dressy socks! I chose about 5 different shoe styles to try on and they only had 1 pair in my size, but it wasn’t in the color I wanted. It was frustrating to say the least. Service was OK. It seemed impossible to get your selected size/color transferred to this store, they were out of many sizes in PA. I was told however, they could transfer my top choice in but I had to pay for it in advance so that they weren’t wasting time and so it wouldn’t be sold to another customer. I understand the concept, but I have never had to pay for any item to be transferred into a store. I wasn’t very comfortable with this, but I wanted the shoe and it was guaranteed to be mine so I paid and I was told I had no obligation to take the shoe if I changed my mind or it didn’t fit. Ten days later I receive a call from an employee that they had the shoe in but not the color I paid for. A couple of calls later it seemed this store wasn’t organized and I had made up my mind I wanted a specific color that I was now told they were completely sold out of. Needless to say, I asked for a credit on my card. It took a few days to get a credit posted to my ATM. Proceed at your own risk pre-paying for transfers or drive to another store and purchase the shoe if it’s in stock would be my recommendation. RKS has some great brands that are very comfortable(I give that 5 stars alone), but are also priced at least 10% higher that other merchants I have been to including online retailers such as . I will purchase from them from now on as they have my desired size/color and I don’t leave frustrated. I have never come across a shoe store of this caliber out of many common sizes/colors. They need to plan accordingly when ordering stock.

not a review but just a note. They give a hospital«family and friends» discount of 10% if you work at the nearby hospital e.g. Stanford/LPCH/PAMF? There prices AFTER the discount were the same as though zappos does not charge tax…
