Swatch Store

I went to the swatch store to get a new battery. Tyler not only fixed my watch, but also he shined it and gave me a great tip to maintain my «limited edition» graphic on my swatch. He was simply the best! I defiantly recommend to look for him if you ever drop by the store.

I have to give a big thank to this shop because people here saved my favorite swatch. I need to fix a swatch I purchased several years ago because the battery cap is broken. I randomly bumped into this shop at the shopping center, I thought it was a good time to ask for help since the swatch was with me that day but was told the cap is not fixable anymore and this swatch is no longer available for sale. I told them I really like my swatch because the watch belts have a symbolic meaning for me and I have no wish to purchase a new swatch with other style because of the watch belts. I was so happy when they recommended me that I could buy a similar style swatch and replace the watch body but keep the original watch belts. What a smart lifesaving idea! But we encountered a problem when they trying to replace the watch body because one of the stubborn screws on the watch belts cannot get out. Each of the staff members available that day all challenged to unscrew the watch belt because afraid of breaking it. I felt so heart touched by the staff members because of their efforts trying to save my favorite watch. No one said that they want to give up on trying instead telling me that they will get it there for me. While a staff member was helping me fixing the watch, another staff member was keeping me entertained by introducing me their new swatch products. After 25 minutes trying to unscrew my swatch belts they finally succeeded. I am so happy the new watch body and belts fitted perfectly like a new watch. The screw on the watch belt is stubborn, but all the staff members at this shop are definitely more stubborn in helping their customers to get their need. I own big thank to all the staff members, before I leave I remembered all their names: Tyler, Mel, Moon. In my heart, this is a five star store, for their products, recommendations, and service.

This location at Stanford shopping center is located just past The Melt and CPK restaurant. Small but filled with helpful sales associates. J Moon sold me my «Rebel Rose» Swatch and assured me of the 2 year warranty, scratch and polishing services and free battery replacement for life! J Moon was a great sales associate who really determined my needs and design preferences. Great place to shop and good value. Always fun styles for everyone!

I am trying to get a replacement for my swatch watch band and I got the worst experience so far. No leather band available and no stainless steel buckle. I have gotten two bands that broke very fast. Sheaply made of bad material. Very frustrating.

I had a great experience today at this shop when I stopped it looking for a new watch and to replace a band on a existing Swatch that I already own. Sales associate SOFIA was super friendly and listened to me about the types of watches I liked and provided suggestions based on what I told her. She was also enthusiastic about my idea to combine a replacement band I was buying for one watch with the face on a watch currently for sale at the store. She even put them together for me to show me what it would look like. I really appreciated her help and patience while I found something that really worked for me. I recommend stopping by the shop and asking for her if you need a recommendation.

I had seen a specific Swatch watch online before, loved the design, and only knew what it vaguely looked like. It stuck in my mind for a LONG time, and when my boyfriend’s birthday came up months later, I walked into the store only knowing very little details about the watch I wanted to buy. She was the first one who greeted me warmly in the store, and immediately asked if she could help me. I explained my dilemma, and she provided above and beyond the ordinary customer that I had expected.
In order to find the specific watch I described, she took out her laptop and let me browse on it to find it. She combed through every men’s watch in the big fat Swatch catalog. When we found it in the catalog we both squealed and pointed at it the same time. It was MAGICAL. EVEN MORE SO WHEN THEY HAD IT IN STOCK!!! After explaining in detail about the great qualities of the watch, (shock proof, waterproof, the warranty, free cleaning, OMG) she gift wrapped it, and I walked out of the store, giddy.
Needless to say, my boyfriend LOVED everything about the watch. 1,000,000 points for the girlfriend.
I have never had so much fun shopping for a watch! If you are looking to buy a watch for yourself or for another person as a gift and want a genuine, honest, and experienced person to help you, I would HIGHLY recommend going to the Swatch store in Palo Alto and asking for Sofia. If you’re reading this, Sofia, thank you so much!!!

I love swatch. This location is always the one I go to. Customer service has never sufferred and of course neither has their watches!

i have acquired a lot (according to my boyfriend, too many) of watches at this store. devin and andrew (and their fellow associates) have been nothing but friendly and helpful every time i’ve visited, and i will more than likely be buying swatches there for quite a while to come.

Couldn’t pass up stopping in at the Swatch store. The Swatch brand always flashes me back to the 80’s when Swatch watches were in high demand.
I stepped in to the small store with the incredible bling blinging blue sparkly floor… nice…
Auu, the selection of watches left a lot to be desired. The best watches I saw were the ultra mega super slim watches made with silicon wrists bands, but at $ 120 no thank you. You got to be kidding… those watches weren’t worth no $ 120
The guys with the curly hair that came over to me did his best to talk up the watch. Then he asked me what I was looking for. Ha! Looking for? As I told him I wasn’t looking for anything I was just at the watches that were on display.
Really, come on now… who buys Swatch watches anyway?

The customer service at this store, in particular Andrew (Manager), is incredible! I won’t bore you with all the details but here’s a quick recap: I had a watch that I somehow managed to break. As you know, Swatch doesn’t have a ‘repair’ shop because the cases are laser-​sealed shut. Andrew spent over an hour with me and did everything possible to ensure I left a happy customer… and I did. He is definitely a watch enthusiast and wants to make sure that everyone has a great experience in his store. I strongly recommend going to this location

I have to admit, it’s been a while since I stopped in a Swatch store. But as we were walking right by one evening, I conned the Mrs into stopping in, as I had a question. What can be done about the scratches in my watch? Mind you, this is a special edition watch I haven’t worn in a good number of years, and have been thinking of selling. The associate in the store was happy to see me, and told me that they’d polish out the scratches at no charge. Of course, if the scratches were deep, they may not be able to get them out completely, but they could try. What a great attitude, considering how much I’ve paid to have links taken out of a watch at a store that I purchased it from… I’ll definitely be back, and considering some of the new styles they offer, I may even pick up a new watch.

I visited last month and had one of the worst customer service experiences ever. The only free associate saw me walk in and she ran straight for the breakroom. Had no idea I was so horribly offensive! (-: I then had to wait 20 minutes for the other associate as he hammered loudly on a watch to take some links out. I left with a headache and still didn’t find what I needed. If you absolutely have to have Swatch, skip this store and go to the Stevens Creek one.

When I first came here, Swatch was located near the center of the mall (i.e. a little closer to Macy’s). However, they moved to a slightly different location (booth 136 A) next to See’s Candies, thus warranting an updated review.
This Swatch store is in a smaller space this time around, and it does have a limited selection. However, when I went there, they had a 40 percent off sale, and most of the watches were indeed on sale (fyi, this happens once a year, after Thanksgiving until mid-​December). Given that all of the sale items had a strict «no returns, no exchanges» policy (they even stamp that logo on the warranty card!) it took me longer than usual to find the right Swatch.
Kudos to the staff, who were patient, friendly and will let you try on the watch before you buy it. If you come into the store with a Swatch, they will buff away the scratches for free. Unfortunately, they had no gift boxes to package my purchase :(but that doesn’t take away from anything.
Given that this store is competing against Macy’s, Nordstrom, Bloomingdale’s, and Neiman Marcus for selling high-​end Swiss-​made (and other European) watches, in comparison Swatch ends up being one of the bargains at the high-​end mall (the sale prices went as low as $ 33 for some of the models, and the regular prices could be as low as $ 50). At least they take the term «affordable luxury» seriously.

The salesgirl here was sooo awesome in helping me pick out a gift watch. They indulged all my grubby hands-​on desires without being overly pushy. I was totally upfront in telling them that I still wanted to check out some watches at Nordie’s and Macy’s and they completely obliged to all my requests with a smile. In the end I ended up getting the watch here, and got it all bundled up like a gift! :)

I LOVE Swatch, but this store should get some more recent designs and maybe some special edition ones in stock.
Great to browse while at the Stanford Shopping Center and definitely always an option for gift giving.
Salespeople are really nice and not pushy at all. Ask to try on the watches before you buy and make sure the display one is not the only one left since they don’t really tell you outright.
