My spouse and I attended the full nine week workshop. He would rate it five stars. I would rate it one. I averaged the score. The Process was recommended by a trusted friend of a trusted friend; a friend who has exceptional gifts in discrimination and integrity. However, there was a dearth of information about it. I couldn’t get anything more than«It’s a program created by Bob Hoffman, an intuitive» and«we create a loving and supportive environment where we hold up mirrors» and«it’s really great! You have to attend!» This wasn’t enough information for me. However, one of the former presenters/leaders, who had retired after thirty years with The Process, was Ron Luyet, a man who was a counselor at my high school in the 80’s. Ron was did amazing work with troubled teens. He was legendary among the students. It was because of this I decided to go ahead and participate despite what I feel was not enough information. After participating, I decided that no one should ever be deprived of proper information in regards to this program ever again. Unfortunately, proper information in regards to The Process can not be disseminated with in the restrictions required by Unilocal. I have written up what I feel is a proper review, including my own experience explaining the one star, and posted it on . If you want to know more, click on this link:

The one-day A Taste of Freedom Workshop is exactly that. Cris, the leader therapist, was excellent. The group exercises were simple yet each one resulted in meaningful, and often completely unexpected, revelations. Think getting the gift of subjectively seeing/feeling impactful moments during my childhood in which the adults were not setting particularly good examples and/or were(dysfunctionally) meeting their own needs instead of mine … then the discovery of my unwitting and habitual behavior as an adult that is related to those experiences, discovery of the sneaky way my psyche continues to help me try get my needs met today but instead continues to derail my life … then the insight into how easy it is to catch these stealthy habits in the moment, and choose different, better. The work of the workshop looked easy enough, and was, but at times it was very hard work because it’s the work of being absolutely radically honest with oneself. What’s really interesting is that at no time during the workshop did it feel unsafe to do so. I attribute this to skill of the workshop leader, Cris. Towards the end of the day, during a visualization exercise, I was flooded with a profound sense of gratitude for my childhood … followed by the extraordinary feeling that this is simple, this is doable … this is freeing. The Process works.
