Vince

I admit I’ve never thought highly of Vince, mainly because it’s struck me as plain product at exorbitant prices. However, I’ve always had excellent experiences at their stores (SF, The Grove) and Palo Alto is no exception. I went through six different items in the dressing room trying to find «the one» and managed to walk away with a gorgeous shirt at an acceptable price (bless you sales), and the associates couldn’t have been nicer. I may pass on the $ 100 t-​shirts, but Vince is worth a splurge for something more substantial.

I love Vince sweaters, shirts, dresses and leather but have yet to buy anything at this store. Everyone I’ve come in the girls working have been nice, but SUPER pushy! Their return policy sucks so I always buy my. Vince at bloomies, Neiman Marcus or online. The last time I came they had two tops and a dress I liked, but didn’t have my size. The annoying part was they kept trying to push me to order it and pay for super expensive shipping. I said no thanks and was leaving and they still kept pushing! I’m not going to pay for super overpriced shipping on something I have no idea will work and can’t return. The time before I had a similar experience with a sweater, this time they had my size but I wasn’t positive I wanted to buy it. Again the girl kept pushing and ultimately I said I’ll think about it. She insisted I put it on hold just in case. Ok fine. I decided I wanted to but it but instead went to Bloomies where the service was great and not pushy. The Vince girl then called me twice that weekend to find out if I wanted the sweater… yeah no. I’m going to keep buying my Vince elsewhere because super pushy sales associates are a major turn off. The two stars are for the clothing.

I’m a guy and I don’t know a shit about todays fashion. It’s Christmas and I’m in a mall looking for a gift for my 17 year old college bound niece.
Vince to the rescue.
I heard of this store from other niece who told me that this is one of her favorite clothing stores. Cool, I will stop in and pick up a sweater «thing» for her and that would be the end of it. But which sweater thing? Vince’s sales associates from the second I entered knew I was in way over my head. They immediately ask who I’m shopping for, what kinds of clothing she’s into, and tactfully asked if she was on the small or plus size (she’s a 0). Within minutes they brought out two sweaters, I loved them both and knew that she would be happy with either one. One of the sweaters was over $ 100 more than the other, and I was open to buying either, but instead of up-​selling me the salesperson thought the lesser expensive of the two.
Thank you for not taking advantage of a novice shopper. Vince has earned my trust and plan on making return visits in the near future.

One of my all time favorite stores. Ever. I don’t even want to get started on the quality of the clothing at Vince. I love fashion, but I will always opt for comfortability when possible, so Vince really is the best of both worlds. It’s impossible not to find something that’s both comfortable and fashionable. I can’t get enough of the cashmere/​wool blends that I could literally wear every single day of the week, as well as the beautiful selection of silk pieces – all are items that may be made with delicate materials, but last a long time and are worth the money.
What really makes this particular Vince store worth going to, instead of purchasing everything online, are the sales associates. Unlike other high-​end clothing stores that tend to be unfriendly and unwelcoming, Vince is entirely different. Everyone who works there immediately greets you at the door and is attentive to your presence. There’s one woman who works there, Fariel (I hope I spelled that correctly!), who has helped me twice now and makes it more than enjoyable to shop at that location. She has an honest opinion, is super helpful and nice, and does this all without being pushy or unwanted like I find a lot of sales associates looking to sell their products. I’ve always loved this brand of clothing, but I especially enjoy going to the Stanford mall location because it’s so welcoming and Fariel makes it a much better experience than it already is. This place has got some really nice clothing for men. Always up to date with latest. The layout is so simple and easy to browse through, I can get in and out in a jiffy, which is great because I hate spending to much time shopping and browsing. They always got my size in stock. Angelica, l think her name was, was super helpful and so down to earth. Also, doesn’t hurt seeing a pretty face while I’m shopping ;). And they’ve got a doggie water bowl in front of the store for your thirsty dog!

i so i made a purchase a day before, but then realized that i need a gift box, so i came i next day, and asked for a gift box, so i guy that worked was fine with it, but the lady that was there said to me «cant you have neiman’s wrap it for you!?» and i felt wtf i made the purchase here, just because i was carrying a neiman’s bag. like if you dont know what’s happen dont say anything.
