EEEk, indeed! Pretty bad. One example: Being told the prescription is ready, going there, it’s not ready, and then having them get it wrong a 3rd time! Repeated emails that my insurance won’t cover(it *always* eventually does within 1 – 3 days, not sure why they can’t work with my insurance better). I get calls from Walgreen’s for prescriptions not belonging to me as well.. The manager is nice, has been apologetic, and tried to explain that theirs is a training site(this was over a year ago, not sure if it still is one or not). Prep. of your RX after your doctor has contacted the pharmacy seems unusually slow. Also, if it’s not ready and staff says just wait 15 minutes… don’t believe it; it almost always takes *much* longer. I’d rather have a more accurate estimate than waiting, for example, over 40 minutes when I expected a 15-minute wait. *Please note that they have«lunch hour»(I think it’s 1:30 — 2:30 pm) coverage ONLY on weekdays(M-F). If you go on a non-weekday there is only one pharmacist, and, by state law, you cannot pick up a subscription if it is «new.» New does *NOT* mean you’ve never been prescription the medicine before: It means that your doctor has not been designated the prescription as a «renewal.» Even if you’ve been prescribed it multiple times, this Walgreens reports that it is state law that a pharmacist must be present(to give you the option of having medication questions answered) if you’re being provided with a «new» prescription.

Walgreens has been my go to pharmacy since it opened several years ago. Compared to all the others close by, it is by far the best. The main reasons are: I rarely encounter anyone in the drive thru; they have my card on file, I have my perscription in less than 3 minutes; the store is clean and well organized, not the norm for their competitors; they have a well considered inventory, given the store size and I consider the small size a major asset; I never have a parking problem; to top it off, they have propane tanks.

The online pharmacy services are terrible and the store staff provide FALSEINFORMATION. I have been REPEATEDLY billed for duplicate prescriptions and the store staff will not help. The people at the customer service number are even worse. I am done doing business with Walgreens. Costco or Safeway will be getting my business.

This walgreen absolutely my favorite. People working here are always smiling and kind. I am really surprised to read negative comments. Well never occurred to me.

We have been with this pharmacy for over three years now, but they still like they don’t know us each time that we go there to get our medication. Oh, also, there are so many turnovers or new people in the pharmacy department often and no one knows what’s going on and how to contact insurance if there is a problem with the prescription. The worst thing is that they don’t even tell you if your drug is not filled because of insurance issues. All and all, the customer service in the pharmacy department is very unsatisfied and unhelpful.

It was hard to find anything I was looking for in here, maybe I was just frustrated from the start… But once I asked for help the people here were so nice and helpful! Even making suggestions like the new online shopping option, once I explained I was helping someone house-bound with their shopping. Very nice employees, very good shopping experience.

Pharmacist gets 5 stars! She was so attentive, pleasant and quick. If you need vaccines/immunizations for tropical travel — get this: no appointment necessary! Stanford quoted me 7 weeks, PAMF quoted me 3 – 4 weeks. Called Walgreen’s and the pharmacist said she had yellow fever, thyphoid, Menengitis and pretty much anything else you would need as a walk-in! Had my shots in 15 min.

It be surprised what you can find a Walgreens! The place is pretty unpredictable. But if they have it, it’s usually priced under anyone else.

Five stars for the lovely young man Dennis at the pharmacy counter. Super helpful, polite, efficient and really seems to care about customers. In a world of subpar customer service, I really appreciated my interaction with him.

This is my to-go pharmacy, I get all my urgent needs here and the pharmacists are attentive and helpful. Store is well maintained and queues are very well maintained even in peak hour by openings several counters. Nice deals on a weekly basis as well. Small and competent Quick grab and go store mostly because there aren’t any stores within .1m radius.

I like Walgreens. It has everything I need in a drug store. The pharmacists are quick and get you in and out. The store is laid out nicely and the staff is friendly and helpful.

Came here to buy one item. I got on line at the cosmetics counter and there was one person ahead of me. The cashier first gave a long sales pitch for the customer rewards card, convinced the person to sign up for it, and then started going through a very long process of signing up for this card. Basically they want to collect all of your personal information, name, phone number, address, and for whatever reason it takes a very long time to enter it into their stupid computer. After waiting a few minutes, I left this line and walked over to the main register that also had one person ahead of me. After I got on this line, I realized this person was also signing up for their fucking rewards card. I stood here for 5 minutes while the customer struggled to enter their personal information into their computer and then gave up and left. There’s something very wrong with a retail store where signing up for a rewards card is considered more important than making sales and letting customers, you know, BUYTHINGS.

Very convenient location since I practically work next door. Fyi, this place gets busy during school time.

Agree with Ryan L. this store outshines them all from the pharmacy to the front counter. It’s the best Walgreens I’ve ever been to in over 30 years. They should be using this as a template. Staff: professional, helpful, courteous, accommodating. The Manager equally fantastic — you can see he sets the positive tone there.

I feel kind of odd for having a favorite chain drug store, but this is mine. The store isn’t all that big, but is nicer than the 24h walgreens over in Los Altos. However, the pharmacy is what really shines. I had a medication which was actually more expensive using my insurance(HSA) than the walgreens w-card. The pharmacist actually caught this after someone else rang it up with insurance, and went through the trouble of getting a manager to void the first transaction and save me $ 50.

Weird! This Walgreens looks literally EXACTLY like the one around the corner from where I grew up. Same floor plan, same cashier set up, same weird bamboo at the cashier stand… everything looks the same. A friend had to run into Goodwill on Friday night, so we stopped here looking to pick up a few bottles of wine because it was down the street. Warning to all future customers: this Walgreens doesn’t sell any booze. Fail. We drove to Ernie’s a few blocks north on El Camino instead.

A modest customer-friendly proposal: either display the hours on the marquee, or turn the lights off when it’s closed. A modest environment-friendly proposal: turn the lights off when it’s closed.

AAA card gets you a big chunk of the RX charge waived! Who knew AAA could be so great. My RX was approximately $ 34 for 90 days and I paid $ 19. I’ve learned quickly that I need to present my AAA card everywhere. It will eventually pay for itself($ 109 annually). So is this what having the AARP card is like?(Mike?)
