Spa service was exceptional. Purchased a groupon for a full body massage. The tech was very professional and accommodating. I really enjoyed the massage and small talk. Will definitely return for the same tech.

I started going over three years ago when my boyfriend bought me a groupon. I didn’t have a problem scheduling it but then again I didn’t go right away. Over the years, I’ve had one full body massage, half body massage, facial, manicure, pedicure, and several haircuts. I don’t go often because it is a bit pricey for me personally(hey I’m a college student) but I’ve always left satisfied with the person I had. I have long hair and you wouldn’t think anyone would screw up a simple cut with layers but for some reason people always manage too. I’ve tried many chain and inexpensive hair salons and I always leave unsatisfied. That is why I keep going back even if I don’t get to go as often as I should. My massage, facial, manicure, pedicure, and some hair cuts were done by Christy, and I’ve also had Nancy multiple times and Julie; they’ve all been fantastic. Other reasons I like to go is because the atmosphere is cozy and I love the décor. Everyone is super friendly and talkative to you even if they’re not working on you. Plus you always get offered a drink, which I’ve never experienced at the salons I’ve been to and it’s nice since I’m usually there at minimum an hour.

I’ve used this salon several times, from pedicures to waxing… Each experience has been good! I love the friendly, welcoming staff. And I’ve never had an issue with scheduling my appointments. Additionally, they have pretty good prices and a variety of specials and packages. I totally recommend Headlines. It’s a comfortable, atmosphere, and they make sure I’m happy!

I purchased a Groupon and I thought that I would give this place a chance and if I liked it then I would return. I am only reviewing the massage services, not the other services. The lady did a light/mediocre job and missed some areas. She never asked me pressure(I had to tell her and she still did it lightly)…and didn’t ask me what areas bothered me. She was asking some personal questions. I’ve had many massages and can differentiate professional techniques. Also, it was supposed to be for an hour, and she stopped at fifty minutes. When I asked her why, she stated she was having a client come at that time. I told her that if I knew that I would have rescheduled, she continued for five minutes but I could tell it was like a light tap on the neck. The supposed«client» was never there when I came out after the supposed appointment… professional? I’m going elsewhere for my massages.

One of the owners just called to ask about my experience and wanted to offer a free eyebrow wax after reading my Unilocal review. What I wanted to say, though I’ve not called them back, was the time to fix it was when you stood there and listened to your tech say«I took off more than you asked for, so it’s going to be $ 10 more.» Not 3 weeks later. Everything about this experience had the feel of a bait and switch gig.

This is my favorite place to go for manicure also for a massage, Saleena is the best. Don’t let her wee size full you, she is strong! The atmosphere is very nice, always clean and the staff is friendly, welcoming.

I used the groupon that I got a while back for my sister and I this weekend. I booked it like a month in advance and was barely squeezed in and had to come in on a friday morning. I get that they are busy with the groupons so it was ok. Anyway, I got the massage and my sister got a facial. I’m no expert spa person but the overall experience wasn’t that great. instead of feeling relaxed, my sister and I were both annoyed after leaving the salon. the ambience just wasn’t there. The massage was nice and it was relaxing but i have had better. my sister didn’t like her mani/pedi that much and when I looked at it I could see why. The paint job was not what I would expect and it looked like something that you did yourself. I got a spa manicure and it wasn’t that great either. Overall not feeling the place. quick update — its been like 4 days and my sister’s mani/pedi is already chipping which shouldn’t happen. Also, i suppose to get a pedicure but was denied because apparently i had a nail fungus. I went to the doctor today who told me that I did not have it. I find this very annoying. i get that they are trying to care but come on you’re not a doctor…

I bought a Groupon for my best friend & I and we had a great time. The staff was very friendly and made us feel very comfortable. We left feeling very relaxed and pampered. The facial was great — it’s left my skin feeling very silky smooth. I’ve gone to other salons for facials and this one definitely surpassed my past experiences. The staff was very accommodating and let us know that due to my friends pregnancy she wouldn’t be able to get the facial but they would give her prenatal massage in it’s place which we thought was great. I didn’t give it 5 stars mainly because there schedule is so busy due to everyone cashing in on their Groupons that my friend is going to have to go another day for the massage but I like that they gave us discounts we could apply for our next visit & I plan on going again to try out the massage and microdermabrasion.

I used a Groupon for one hour massage, with manicure and pedicure. I was very happy they offered Sunday appointments. First up was the massage with Judith. It was fine, and she worked the areas I asked her to focus on. Two days later and I still feel loose and relaxed. Getting a massage always makes me remember that I should get another massage soon. Why do I wait so long? I was next set with Debbie for my pedicure and manicure. I really like her«vibe». It had been about 6 weeks since my last pedi, and Debbie did a terrific job getting my tootsies in order. I was impressed with the cleanliness and her attention to the condition of her client’s feet(she declined a pedicure to the woman before me due to an infection she saw), and that she did not use blades on my rough heels nor did she cut my cuticles. There are two massage pedi chairs and I must have been in the«wrong» one since I barely felt a jiggle. The girl in the other chair was a lot more active. On to the manicure and since I have very short, very weak nails I did not expect much. Debbie did me right again and shaped the nails nicely. No cuticle cutting, but used oil and orange wood stick to get my sad little digits ready for the polish. Still no chips after two days, and I normally lose the tips of my polish after a day. I re-booked a pedicure with Debbie for next month. If it weren’t for the ½ price special they offered in follow-up to the Groupon, I probably would not have booked since their price is a bit on the high side(at least, for me).

They sold too many Groupons. Scheduling the service has proved to be a nightmare and they don’t have a Saturday slot available until AFTER the Groupon expires. I finally did find a time to squeeze it in, so I’ll come back and edit my review once I’ve gone.

Worst Groupon experience ever! When I booked my appointment for a facial and mani/pedi I asked if this salon does the no-chip manicures which they informed me they did and their nail technicians were well versed in the product. After my facial(which was the only saving grace to my debacle) Emma started work on my nails. She carefully painted the first two coats of the no-chip polish on my nails and then white tips for a French manicure. The polish bubbled under the lights while curing and Emma didn’t know why. At first she said it was because I moved my hands while under the light(I didn’t), but then another tech heard us talking and asked Emma what primer she used — she didn’t use any and thus the bubbling of the paint! Unhappy, I asked her to take off the polish and just put on a clear coat. As I sat with my hand soaking in acetone, she said to me, «I know you’re upset, but this is hard on me, too.» WHAT!!! I have now been at this salon for 3 hours, which was getting ready to close for the evening, and hadn’t even had my pedicure yet and now no manicure. Needless to say I left, but not before talking to one of the salon owners. She apologized for the unfortunate experience and said due to the popularity of the Groupon they’ve had to hire more help. Although Emma was fresh out of beauty school, she had said she was experienced in the full product line — clearly not. I have contacted Groupon and asked for a refund. I will update if they honor their full satisfaction guarantee policy.
