Interesting, to say the least. I came in here looking for some lunch and a coffee type of beverage. I got a roast beef wrap and German chocolate specialty mocha(iced). The wrap was pretty good, decently sized and pretty well put together, except on a salad plate that was a little too small. My only qualms would be to list that there are carrots in the wrap on the menu. Other than that, tasted fresh and pretty good! My iced German chocolate mocha was strangely served in a Styrofoam cup meant for hot coffee. Not the most important, but I guess I expected a plastic type cup. Regardless, this drink was awesome! They have a lot of different flavors and I would love to try them all, as well as their hot varieties. Forget Starbucks across the street! Overall, a good experience, but it seems this place might have a bit of identity problem. Is it a coffee shop, deli counter or café? All of the above, in my opinion. Menu seems way too big, they have everything from breakfast sandwiches to gyros to paninis to full selections of coffee-related beverages. I think if the menu was condensed it could have a lot of potential. The owner kindly asked me how my wrap was when I was finished. I will be in again!

Bill and Mike are two of the friendliest guys you’ll every meet behind the counter at a coffee shop! Not only is there coffee and expressos delicious, but just try out their Panini’s! My personal favorite is the turkey panini on pretzel bread, it’s amazing!

This place is great! My wife and I have tried about 6 of their panini sandwiches. All of them were delicious. The coffee here is great too! This is one of our favorite places to eat in Palos Heights. The owner is very nice. Highly recommend this place.

I love this place. They have great variations of hot or cold sandwiches, wraps and paninis. Everytime I come I try something new and I’m never let down. Their potato salad is AMAZING. Love this place.

Super fresh and tasty food and very friendly staff. This is a great place to come lunch or a quick meet up with a friend. Many different coffee options too, so if you like trying different things, this is the place to go.

Better option than McDonalds but I am certain the chicken in my panini was not fresh. Had it been cooked in house to order the sandwich would have been awesome. The menu is too big to serve everything fresh. Eggplant Panini? You think they carry fresh eggplant in the back. Probably not. Very friendly. They would pack the house if they simplified their menu and used fresh ingredients. If they did I would go twice a week. Didn’t drink any coffee.

I’ve been coming here since they opened about 10 years ago. It is my all time favorite coffee shop! They have mochas unlike any other(SOGOOD) and dozens and dozens of flavored syrups do add in. The owner is incredibly friendly. He always remembers my order and has let my friends and I stay past closing on numerous occasions. When I moved away for a couple of years, this is what I missed most about Palos. Best spot in the burbs.

What to do on a Saturday afternoon when your husband is in a cast and crutches but can still drive just fine? Caffeine cruise, obvi! We had done all the errands, well him driving, me running in and we managed to get into a restaurant and have lunch. Over our coffee, which was OK, I wondered aloud if there was terrific coffee spots in the SW suburbs that weren’t Starbucks.(I adore Starbucks guilt free.) And thus the Caffeine Cruise was born. Sitting at our table we searched on Unilocal for coffee shops with good review and this was our first stop. It had good reviews and a Unilocal friend, Courtney O was the duchess. Off we went! It looked cute from the outside and smelled nice on the inside with a big espresso machine. I ordered a Mocha Almond Coconut and was shocked when it was prepared with a premade liquid from the fridge and shots which were then heated up on the steamer on the aforementioned Espresso machine. The resulting liquid was hot and sweet with good flavors but quite frankly, I can get this kind of steamed/heated up liquid at any convenience store with an instant frappuccino machine. I would not make a special trip here again. I can imagine that the food must be quite tasty but for this Caffeine Cruise, it’s a weak three. Extremely weak. Cost — about 4.00 for approximately 8 ounces Cup — styrofoam Preparation — reheated

Friendly service, good drinks and good food all reasonably priced($ 5-$ 15 on average depending on what you get). Definitely try the chicken caesar panini– it’s a little messy but delicious. The atmosphere is cozy and warm, staff is always welcoming. There are a few booths to curl up in and enjoy your coffee. It has never been crowded or noisy when I have been there(usually in the afternoon). I think they sometimes have live acoustic music there too.

Panini XpressO has become a regular part of my weekly restaurant rotation. The owners are super friendly, the food is really good, and the prices are reasonable. You won’t be disappointed!

Free internet, delicious drinks, and extremely friendly service. Anyone looking for a spot to chill out where you can avoid the corporate pop assault normally encountered at a Starbucks: you are in luck.

The service, quality, and atmosphere at Panini Xpresso cannot be matched. I’m a huge fan of their flavored iced tea brews, mochas and, of course, paninis! I haven’t ever had anything here I don’t like. I guarentee you won’t either. The owners, Mike and Nick are some of the greatest guys I know. They took the time to get to know me after only a few visits I felt like good friends with them. They advertised in the college student newspaper I ran for a year, and often gave discounts to students. Now that I am working(and only a few miles from here), I visit every chance I get, for anything from a coffee and a muffin to my favorite spicy raspberry chicken wrap and cinnamon apple iced tea. I wish I could eat here more often than I do… but when I get the chance to eat lunch out, or meet a friend for a late night coffee you’ll find me here!

So what began as my simple search for a single goddammed newspaper commemorating the newly elected future President Obama, became my journey into the newspaper search frenzied madness of the past week. Seeking the coveted Oprah endorsed and approved Sun-Times«Mr. President» cover, I looked inside street boxes, scanned and skimmed the top of the trash cans like a hobo and lurked in gas stations where I pretended to just be browsing the Reese’s selection or something while easing my way over to the media rack, but the attendant knew what the hell I was there for because he’d seen fortune seekers doing it all day long already. Alas, it was all for not — all those bitches are either on eBay by now or in somebody’s hope chest or whatnot. But I was able to find a second(or maybe fourth) best thing here — a Wednesday Daily Southtown on a Friday. Similar enough cover. Sweet. Also sweet was that something dragged me back here, because this is a rocking little café. Right across the street from a big ol, suburban sized Starbucks, this offers something that even my beloved beast cannot — like six or seven different freshly brewed iced teas. Being that iced tea is one of the only things I ever get at a Starbucks anyway, that makes this place a clear winner. The iced oolong here is fabulously perfect. Other flavors include a lemon, a raspberry and something called«Golden Flowers» which will be the next one I try — maybe tomorrow. They also make sandwiches and have cake — red velvet cake even — and a combination of smallish booths and a little comfy couchy seating area in the front. And talking to Mike, one of the owners, is like chatting up one of the world’s smartest bartenders, but you get to appreciate it because you’re probably not drunk. Again sweet.
