Wendy’s

Beautiful, new, clean, bright Wendy’s. However I had a not so pleasant customer service experience. I tried ordering a 15 $ gift card, and the cashier rang it up at 50 $. I corrected the cashier, who made it seem like it was my fault, and continued to repeat that it sounded like I said 50 $. Someone needs to teach her that «the customer is always right.» The manager however recovered and was very friendly.

Every now and then I get a taste for a Wendy’s chicken sandwich and was in the area so I gave it a try. This is a brand new Wendy’s which looks like no other store that I have ever seen in this chain.
The food is served fast and hot and the employees seem to friendly. But the thing I wanted to see was the soda machine, someone told me about this thing and what it does. The machine dispenses a couple of dozen different flavors of soda and some I have never seen any where else. You can mix and match all kinds of crazy combinations. I learned only to fill my cup half way so I can try a couple of different flavors without filling up.
The only thing that I could not figure out at first was the meals. It shows a sandwich, fries, and a drink, so when I ordered my meal, the girl asked what size fries and drink I wanted. I asked doesn’t the meal come with it and she said yes, but what size did I want. Come to find out that the medium and large are a up charge to the order, which they do not explain very well. I did get the medium drink and fries with my order, which was fairly good sized.
Will be back again.
