«Corners of the World» is a lovely little gift shop tucked quietly next to the Palos Verdes Post Office in Malaga Cove Plaza. If you are looking for a special gift, something unique and lovely this is the place to go. I had such a fabulous time today lost in a wonderland of magical, shiny, lovely things. I felt like a kid in a candy store only instead of candy your eyes gaze upon one lovely thing after another. I highly recommend this charming store. You will be sure to find so many things that you will want to buy. I know I did! The store has a special warm glow and perhaps the holiday season lends itself to completely shine in this small corner of the world. The owner seems to pick things which would have much appeal to those looking for quality and uniqueness. There is a wide range of items, clothing, toys, cards, gift wrap, bags, jewelry and so much more. Do be aware of the one and two hour parking slots for the plaza. They do monitor the parking religiously. Enjoy your time here. It is so much fun. Places to eat lunch in the same area. Love this store.

An exquisite little gift shop in Malaga Cove in the heart of the eucalyptus groves. Glance across PCH for a view of the blue Pacific from the top of the bluffs. I can’t get enough of this area. This shop boasts ‘art, artifacts, carvings & furniture’. Enter past a display of doormats and linens to be greeted by colorful clay flowers and beautiful dishes & glassware. There is a second floor, to which you are lured by a row of puppets suspended from the ceiling. The ‘card room’ is my favorite spot here because the beautiful greeting cards are imported, many from the UK. I also found nice hardcover coffee table books with photos of the PV Peninsula as I sat in a comfortable chair by the check-out desk. Another tiny room displayed baby booties, handmade purses & such. So much to see on future visits. Very friendly proprietor. As cool little gift shops go, it doesn’t get much better than this.
