Place is super small and sort of hidden but a secret treasure in PCB. We had PO-Boys, beignets, and stuffed sno balls and everything exceeded our expectations. Also carries Zapps chips which if you have ever had them you know that they are amazing!

OMGDIABETESIN A CUP! My ice, sorry, not ice, it was straight up syrup. I swear I could’ve gotten diabetes from it. I had to ask for extra cups of ice! We ordered beignets, not as good as Houston but it was bearable. Gumbo, meh. I could do without it. There was no okra! Not enough meat. The fries was bomb though, I do give them that. Heard the coffee was too sweet. If you’re looking for diabetes, def try their sno-cones. Otherwise, STAYAWAY!

Best snow cones anywhere ever! But if you want the Gumbo we were told only on Friday!

Just go. A true gem among all the over priced tourist traps in this town . Snow cones are out of this world. Get em stuffed and if you are feeling extra indulgent add the condensed milk ! Yum!

Great sandwiches, great beignets(not sure if that’s how you spell it), prices were decent too so all-in-all I had a solid experience.

Great stop. Filling traditional po’ boy sandwiches, excellent original American summer desserts with their many Sno-Ball combinations. Beignets were super fresh and excellent. Super welcoming and friendly service and atmosphere. Very clean.

This place is great! Small, cozy, and very friendly atmosphere. The beignets and sno balls are delicious! I had a pineapple snoball stuffed with vanilla ice cream and It was delicious. I would recommend trying this place for a little taste of New Orleans! Well done

I’m from N.O. I go here multiple times when I’m in PCB. The REALDEAL and better than most places at home!!! Shrimp Or Roast Beef PoBoy or Muffaletta are the best! And a snowball for dessert.

This place is one of those little hole in the wall places that you’re always hearing about. Let me tell you something, you’re not going to be disappointed if you embark on the adventure of David’s. It’s a little olé place that you would, more than likely, ride right past. Don’t do that. Don’t be that person. Stop in at David’s. I’ve been here a few times now. When you walk in, it’s a small and chill atmosphere. You go to the counter and order your food then opt to sit in or outside. When you go to that counter to order, I highly recommend ordering the roast beef po boy. You’re going to love it. I get mine with just mayonnaise on it. When you take your first bite, you’re going to go to a place that you’ve never been before. That’s right. You’re going to be in heaven. The flavors that fill your mouth from this sandwich are going to have you questioning your life. You’re going to wonder if you should really leave on Sunday, when your vacation comes to an end, or if you should stay seated in this small restaurant where you can order roast beef po boy after roast beef po boy. Decisions, decisions. Grab yourself a bag of those delicious Zapps chips while you’re trying to decide. Get yourself a snow ball while you’re at it. Do it. Embark on the adventure of David’s. I can assure you that you won’t be disappointed and you know what? You may have just found yourself a new home.

Best Sno-Balls east of New Orleans! The«stuffed» ones are the best. Don’t forget to get an order of beignets while you’re there. Great little taste of New Orleans!

Yes. David’s Sno-Balls, whenever possible, yes. Nobody else in the county, maybe the state, makes beignets this good. Don’t even bother looking. And the muffaletta is excellent too.

I did not like the food . It was bland and the texture was not good I really didn’t like it. I will not go back to David snowballs.

Amazing beignets. So soft & fluffy! Try it with the caramel dipping sauce. It is like a piece of heaven. I believe that the owner is from New Orleans since there is LSU gear all over the restaurant. I want to thank you the Cashier who let me try several snow cone flavors. She was amazing! She recommended the creamsicle flavor with vanilla ice cream, sour apple & cotton candy(Cashier’s fav flavor), & piña colada. All of these flavors were great, but I could not resist the creamsicle flavor with vanilla ice cream. I haven’t had a snow cone in years and the cashier made it a great experience. If I am back in town, I will definitely stop by.

Beignets and sno balls are on point! Service is very friendly and let’s you try different flavors. Who knew you can put ice cream inside a snow cone? Genius! Would definitely recommend that. Beignets come with a pound of powdered sugar, exactly how I like them. They’re just as fluffy and good as the ones in New Orleans. Got hot dogs as well and well, they’re just that. Hot dogs. Nothing to rave about. Definitely need one of these back in Atlanta!

I’d been driving for hours. I was tired and hungry and sore and in no mood to eat a mediocre meal. So I asked the gal what item she thought was best. She immediately replied that she could eat the roast beef every day. This was a girl who had clearly dispatched many a generous meal so her opinion held some weight. The sample she offered was unnecessary but guaranteed that I’d order the roast beef. It was jaw droppingly good. Warm fuzzy, insert yourself into the Norman Rockwell painting, Mama tuck me in and kiss me goodnight kind of good. I savored every bite and by the time I was done I was in an entirely different frame of mind. So David I want to thank you. I’d love to try those Sno-balls but there’s only so much gasp inducing, mood altering food this guy can eat in one day.

All are stuffed with vanilla ice cream. Red velvet, bubblegum, cheesecake, grape, cotton candy, cappuccino & apple pie all taste like what they’re supposed to! Awesome sauce. Wedding cake tastes like almond. Margarita tastes like lemon lime(and we wish Jose was in the house). Tigers blood tastes like cherry coconut or something. Mudslide tastes like a tootsie roll. Hot dogs were good, nothing special. Shrimp Po boy is good! Actually, it’s off the chain! Shrimp is battered and fried, sauce is flavorful, bread is crispy. This time, we got 4 orders of beignet bites. They’re easier to eat and were GONE. Goooooood stuff.
