Ocean’s Bar & Grill

Not kids friendly. The kids menu is deceptive. It lists several kid entrees options and two dessert options. The only price on the entire menu is $ 9.99, so you are lead to believe that dessert is included. But when we ordered their dessert, without any indication on the menu, nor from the waitress, they charged $ 3.00 more for each kid’s dessert. The way the menu is designed, and in my conversations with the manager, I felt it was extremely deceptive and downright misleading. I guess they figure people won’t really look at the bill and just pay the extra money. I felt really cheated. In addition, the only kid’s drinks are tea and soda. No milk.

We came on karaōke night and it was a blast! Not the most talent in the world was there, but it was a great time nonetheless! I highly recommend coming for karaōke and just ordering drinks. The place is very elegant and cozy.
Food
I could probably make a better home cooked meal with salt and pepper. I ordered the ribeye, it wasn’t the most beautiful marble I’ve seen. The steak lacked all flavor and was very dry and tough. The mashed potatoes were okay, but Betty Crocker could do it better. I ordered shrimp with my steak and it was a hit or miss in regards to flavor. Definitely not worth the $ 25 for the pairing. The dinner bread my girlfriend had with her Chicken Alfredo (a very pricey $ 16) was the highlight of my meal. She said her food was bland and lacked flavor as well.
Service
Our server was Violetta and she was very nice, but seemed like she lacked social skills. She only stopped by the table when we ordered drinks, then for food, then to deliver food, and one other time, before receiving the check. I had to flag her down to order another drink… If she was new, then practice will refine her skills.

HORRIBLE service. Long wait for food. Food delivered cold. No silverware or napkins when half our order arrived. This place isn’t even half full.

Edgewater is one of the best places to stay and Ocean’s is one of the reasons. They are quick with drinks even when the pool and beach are packed. Food is tasty and prices are comparable to other joints around town. Try the fish tacos, grouper or reuben. Get a souvenir cup if you’re staying for any length of time because it just makes good sense. The Triple Berry Daiquiri is very refreshing. We stayed for a week and ate here at least 3 times because it was really good and extremely convenient.

Some of the best Sea Food on the beach! Bartenders are very friendly and pour some amazing drinks as well! Great view of the ocean while you enjoy a first class meal prepared by a wonderful chef! Great for breakfast though sometimes it’s difficult to get up by 10:30 lol when your on beach time but totally worth it!

Ocean’s is as good as is gets for location! If you are staying at Edgewater then it it right there in the complex.
The food is very good and I really have not had anything I did not enjoy.
If you go deep sea fishing then call ahead and the chef will cook your fish that you caught in an amazing family style feast for a very resononable price including sides!
Only thing they could work on a bit is speed of service. Every time I go it’s not very crowded but I wait too long to be served and get my drink and my meal.
