Ate here twice this week. Best hot wings I have ever eat. Cocktail sauce is the bomb and wait staff was very friendly

We ordered shrimp and cheesy grits. They throw grated cheddar cheese from a bag sprinkled on top of a clumped bowl of dry grits. The andouille sausage inside was very salty and lowest grade quality. They place 3 triangles of sliced toasted cheap bread on side of this messy bowl.
My wife had Fish Sue. The grilled fish wasn’t horrible but the curry on top was the worst she’s ever had. It had chunks of celery and some other thing mixed in. It tasted like it had been thickened with too much flour.
I will say our server was great. Just too bad the food was gross.
Don’t waste your money folks. Branch out. Go to Phở 77 just opened not far from here. It is excellent quality food and a lot cheaper.

High priced, yet very good food, and the place was packed when I went. The employees are quite friendly, but I didn’t see one smile on any of their faces, they seemed to not wanna be there at all.

The food was good. Our only complaint is we had to wait one hour for our food. This is just ridiculous!

This was a great place to eat. My husband got the Mahi and I got the crabcakes! The food was home style and served with large portions of sides. The Coke Slaw needed a little sugar and the Diet Coke was a little flat. But the entrees were superb!

I’m going to keep this short and sweet, after tonight I’m not in the mood to right a lengthy review.
The wait was pretty long but not as bad as Dustys oyster bar. I now know why. When seated it took forever to get waited on and nearly an hour for our food. The blackened grouper was pretty good. The coconut shrimp had an off taste, they were okay. The side dishes were pretty good.
I had the crab leg dinner. It came with two clusters (1 pound). When they were brought out I noticed there was barely any seasoning if any on them. Great! I tried one leg and it was almost ice cold, I had another, the same thing. Decided to send them back with one and a half of the remaining crab legs there.(1 and a half clusters) They came back 15 minutes later with one small cluster on the plate. Still not warm, didn’t taste very fresh either time. I said forget it and let it be.
I would not recommend eating here if you can find a better place.
Update: We read about you on Unilocal.Just visiting, already back home. I hope that isn’t the norm, but friends have also said they weren’t impressed.

The patio is wonderful. The grouper is extremely delicious! And ask for John! A great server, who really makes your evening fun!

To Patrick the GM, this was our 2^nd year visiting Salty Sues, we love the wings along with everything else we get including the good service. Next for me is to get some BBQ. thanks

The food was amazing! I had the marinated chicken breast and onion rings it was great! Highly recommend!

Stopped in while passing through Panama City. We’d never heard of this place, but decided to go on a whim because we were hungry.
We don’t regret it one bit! Food was amazing, along with the prices. Lunch special was great. Service was friendly.
I recommend this place!

Wow I was blown away by the perfectly blackened shrimp, everyone in my party loved their meal, from the Reuben to the sliced BBQ chicken, & the calamari. Also had the gumbo, & it was pretty good. Excellent service.

Stopped by for lunch after reading a bunch of good reviews on here. It fell short of expectations the moment we walked in. Nobody was at the hostess table to sit us for about 10 minutes. Told our waitress we had never been there before and asked her for recommendations. She said «everything». She seemed uninterested in our questions almost as if she wasn’t excited herself about the food she was serving. I had the brisket and the wife had shrimp and grits. While neither were terrible they weren’t something I would come back for. We also had the smoked wings which I have to say were amazing! Some of the best wings I’ve ever had. Quantity was very generous but quality was lacking for the price.

Good atmosphere, good service, decent food. It was a bit pricey considering. My husband got the brisket while I got the fried shrimp. The shrimp was extremely salty. The brisket was tasty but fatty. We certainly won’t add this place to our must haves while in PCB but it wasn’t a complete loss.

The server was great. He didn’t come around and bug is to death but wasn’t absent. If we needed something he was right there. The food was good, not over the top amazing; but not terrible. I ordered the coconut shrimp, besides missing the hush puppies and Texas toast it was about average.

I will say we didn’t have to wait, so that was a plus. It wasn’t very busy when we arrived and we ordered 3 appetizers, the fried green tomatoes, the jalapeño corn poppers and the fried pickles. They came out fast and were great! We ordered our food right before our appetizers came and it took almost 40 minutes to get to the table! Omg! I even had a children’s plate I had ordered, you mean to tell me that it took that long to do a kids Mac and cheese??? So crazy! Not even an apology or anything. I will mention there were two tables who sat after us who got their food first. Entrees were ok. Meh.

Everything was excellent! We had the gumbo, Shrimp and Grits, and Shrimp Castro. All were better than expected. Each entrée was overflowing with shrimp and flavor. Gumbo has fried okra, which was amazing. Service was fast and courteous. We will definitely be back!

This is the first place I go to when I get to PCB. Best wing anywhere! Happy hour socials from 4 – 6, large portions, some of the best food for miles around!

Memorable vacation eating! A diverse menu offering both fresh local seafood and house-​made BBQ — all complemented with fresh delicious selection of side dishes. We had respectively the Shrimp Sue and the Fish Sue, with fresh baked bread a lovely salad with house-​made dressings — ranch and honey mustard — best we’ve had since in FL. The «Sue» dishes are topped with a creamy sauce with a hint of curry. Our waiter encouraged us to try the sauce before we ordered in order to be convinced-​it worked! Yum! Great service, no wait, comfortable booth, delicious food and cocktails. We will be back!

I tried the Cuban sandwich made on homemade bread. It was wonderful! The others had the fish and chips. Every one was pleased with their meals. The portions are good sized too. Everything tasted fresh. Southern but with a twist. Definitely be back soon.

The smoked wings are all you need to know! They are so good without any extra sauce on the side, I wish I could eat more!
